Steep Hill Mississippi is Mississippi's first licensed medical cannabis testing lab. We do not cultivate or sell medical cannabis but simply provide third-party quality assurance analysis. We require a hard-working and highly motivated Office and Operations Coordinator with strong communication, office and operations skills to work with a fun and dynamic team in the exciting and fast-paced cannabis industry served by Steep Hill Mississippi. The successful candidate is responsible for front desk administration, sample intake recording, and will be cross trained for non-scientist lab functions. The ability to work across a variety of tasks, in a production environment, is an essential attribute for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have an associate’s degree or further education. The Office and Operations Coordinator will be expected to work across a variety of tasks with attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.
Must be comfortable working within the legal and licensed medical cannabis industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervising reception and front desk area, including answering incoming calls
- Performing sample intake, including photography, recording in LIMS, etc.

The employee filing the complaint may at the time of the hearing, present their complaint to the Audit Committee in person.
Decision
If a finding that interference or retaliation has occurred, the Chairman of the Audit Committee will provide that information to the Board and Executive Director. The determination is final and binding. Who are we?
The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is the agency responsible for regulating the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in Oregon by administering the state’s Liquor Control Act and regulating the sale of recreational marijuana in Oregon through the Control, Regulation, and Taxation of Marijuana and Industrial Hemp Act.
The agency is comprised of three major operational programs; the Distilled Spirits Program, the Recreational Marijuana Program, and the Public Safety Program. All three programs are supported by the Administration, Financial Services, and Support Services divisions. Revenue generated from these programs helps support state and local government programs.
What will you do?
The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator facilitates the distribution center inventory management program for liquor that is sold in the statewide retail liquor store system. This position assists with the gathering and statistical analysis of sales data, ordering parameters, the special handling of discount merchandise, and communicating product information to suppliers, carriers, liquor sales agents, agency staff and the buying public. This position is the liaison between liquor manufacturers, suppliers, liquor agents, and the Commission.
What are some of the supporting duties?
Pricing:
- Create computer file records for all new items and coordinate the pricing of all items entering the system; prepare all pricing and product status changes for reports furnished to liquor agents monthly.
- Process requests from liquor suppliers for addition of new items to the Oregon market; compile statistical data for review by Listing Committee and Commissioners to consider new items for addition to product line; attend Listing meetings.
- Make telephone and personal contacts with general public, government agencies, liquor store personnel and local and national liquor industry representatives regarding liquor pricing, purchasing, shipments, bailment inventories, special orders, rules and regulations.
Product Management and Evaluation:
- Coordinate product line evaluation by gathering and preparing data to aid the Purchasing and Distribution Director and other staff in deciding when to add (list) or remove (delist) items from the product line.
- Analyze program content and effectiveness to ensure compliance with statutory administrative requirements.
- Review and analyze suppliers’ marketing strategies, product availability, and other factors that might affect the stocking levels required in the warehouse.
- Review suggested liquor orders from automated inventory management system, make adjustments as needed and order liquor from suppliers.
- Review vendor managed inventory level to maximize service level and warehouse space utilization.
Inventory Movement and Analysis:
- Recommend to suppliers an increased or decreased allocation of stock quantity requirements.
- Maintain control of inventory management system through continued analysis of procedures and adjusts system to meet changes in needs, requirements and resources.
Purchasing Liaison:
- Administer the Liquor Post-Off Programs by reviewing and approving item discounts, scheduling purchases and determining adequate quantities to buy.
- Coordinate and facilitate Listing Meeting with manufacturers, suppliers and liquor agents.
- Assist the Special Orders Coordinator in stocking product that is outside the purview of regularly stocked items.
- Serve as the liaison to industry stakeholders including manufacturers, suppliers, craft distilleries, distillery representatives of Oregon, liquor store agents, as well as internal stakeholders in the Purchasing and Distribution Center.
- Assist new stakeholders through the listing process and requirements associated with getting their items listed in Oregon.

Summary:
We are searching for an organized driven individual to be our new Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator's responsibilities include reporting directly to the Chief Operation Officer and helping to execute tasks at all levels of the business. This job will require the ability to work in a face paced environment. The individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset with a wide skill set to execute at the level necessary for the position.
To be successful as an Operations Coordinator, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Operational Coordinator’s Schedule:
You will be working out of our corporate headquarters in Clearwater, FL. There will be some ability to work remotely, but most days will be spent with management in the office. Additionally, there will be a small amount of travel required to attend meetings and to assist in operations at the various laboratory locations.
Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
Assisting the COO with operations and being able to maintain the business in their absence.
Must be able to assimilate information and maintain the confidentiality of the company.
Responsible for ensuring that company operations are conducted in a professional manner.
Fielding phone calls from Operations Managers and suppliers when needed.
Helping to order supplies for all business locations across the country.
Assisting with data input, inventory, and organization of shipments.
Providing excellent service and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Scheduling meetings and travel as required.
Promptly reviewing, organizing, and answering emails.
Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
Occasionally will travel to assist COO at the various laboratory operations.
Must demonstrate and report effective time management.

Operations Coordinator Requirements:
College Degree preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role in lieu of degree.
Prior operational business experience is advantageous.Proficient in MS Office; quick and agile in learning new technologies and software.

The Security Specialist is an individual contributor position within the Security Team. The Security Specialist applies critical thought and analysis skills to gather, collect, create, and communicate information and then maintain organized records of in progress and completed projects. Role Responsibilities
Monitors field information alerts from field, store and home office.
Documents and reports all pertinent information on internal/external incidents, system disruptions that impact business, and all other crisis affecting our business.

Analyzes and maintains curiosity to uncover critical information and risk to the business

Responds to initial emergency issues and coordinates appropriate actions per policy related to offices, stores, cultivation centers.
Monitors the security & safety for all associates at Weed Street and other locations when needed.
Monitors access control, burglar alarms, fire safety systems, and CCTV systems and coordinate issue resolution with Security Leadership.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Security leadership team to include but not limited to:
Participation in group training exercises/quarterly

Role Requirements

JOB SUMMARY*
The State Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing support and coordinating efforts to help the flow of business operations. The overall goal is to ensure smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Entering data into related computer databases and ensuring all trackers are constantly updated with current details (inspections records for Harvest stores and 3rd party operators)
- Examining, tracking, routing, and monitoring various internal and 3rd party inspection notices, licensing and AZDHS documents to ensure strict deadlines are met.
- Act as the liaison between Harvest Principal Officers/Board Members and all state facility managers for AZDHS communications.
- Reading, understanding, and applying statutes, rules, policies and procedures, as appropriate to the job function, requesting assistance from in-house counsel as needed for interpretation of any unclear regulations.
- Collaborate and work cross -functionally with state and departments leaders to coordinate the continued improvement of existing operations.
- Evaluating and recommending changes to processes and procedures upon regulatory updates and or AZDHS deficiencies.
- Assist site leaders to administer all processes and procedures and ensure working within regulation framework.
- Generating, printing, and distributing letters, documents, licenses, and certificates.

Principal Duties:
Processing Responsibilities
Directly responsible for leading the Extraction Team through the execution of daily tasks which are vital to WCM’s ability to produce the highest quality cannabis concentrates and infused products. Responsible for disseminating information, providing regular supervision and status updates to the Processing Operations Manager (POM). Act as the deputy for the POM in Extraction during his/her absence.
- Maintains at all times a clean, sanitized and safe environment inside the extraction and post-extraction laboratory
- Enforces WCM safety policies and procedures, provides feedback to the POM on any new safety requirements
- Directly responsible for daily supervision of the Extraction Team
- Leads and motivates team members
- Schedules the Extraction Team’s weekly workload to ensure production and development goals are met concomitantly
- Oversees the completion of daily tasks and reports status to POM
- Responsible for overall daily maintenance of extraction related equipment and reaching out to the Maintenance Manager when needed
- Ensures equipment, materials and supplies are on hand and set up prior to each shift
- Ensures that all tracking information is updated and accurate
- Routinely inspects each batch for quality control and follows testing procedures in collaboration with the Lab Technician
- Tracks product(s) being sent out/received by third-party processors and manufacturers
- Monitors inventory levels and actively manages forecasts for supplies, consumables, work in progress (WIP) and finished goods (FG)
Collaborate with the WCM team on new product development
- Works closely with the Product Manager (PM) to identify new products to add to WCM’s product lineup
- Conducts R&D in an effort to make improvements to current offerings as well as creating new products
- Works closely with the Lab Technician to conduct regular testing and provide results/findings to POM, DPO and GM
- Attend new product development meetings as necessary
Ensure compliance with all Maine State rules and regulations for the handling of WCM products
- Keeps and manages all required compliance records related to WCM products
- Interfaces with other company teams and functions to affect accurate record keeping
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Maintains accurate records when working off-site with consultants and/or contractors
Cultivates relationships with vendors, contractors and consultants to ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds WCM standards and is completed in a timely manner.

Purpose and scope of Position
Under the guidance of the Processing Operations Manager, the primary responsibilities of the Extraction Operations Coordinator are to coordinate and oversee the Extraction Department:
1- lead the team through the daily processes related to extraction and refinement production.
2- document all extraction and refinement processes according to approved procedures.
3 - conduct R&D to improve current products as well as identifying new products to potentially bring to market.
The Extraction Operations Coordinator acts as liaison for the Processing Operations Manager and leads their team by delivering on goals set by management and showing support to the overall production team, whenever applicable.

Principal Duties:
Processing Responsibilities
Directly responsible for leading the Extraction Team through the execution of daily tasks which are vital to WCM’s ability to produce the highest quality cannabis concentrates and infused products. Responsible for disseminating information, providing regular supervision and status updates to the Processing Operations Manager (POM). Act as the deputy for the POM in Extraction during his/her absence.
· Maintains at all times a clean, sanitized and safe environment inside the extraction and post-extraction laboratory
· Enforces WCM safety policies and procedures, provides feedback to the POM on any new safety requirements
· Directly responsible for daily supervision of the Extraction Team
· Leads and motivates team members
· Schedules the Extraction Team’s weekly workload to ensure production and development goals are met concomitantly
· Oversees the completion of daily tasks and reports status to POM
· Responsible for overall daily maintenance of extraction related equipment and reaching out to the Maintenance Manager when needed
· Ensures equipment, materials and supplies are on hand and set up prior to each shift
· Ensures that all tracking information is updated and accurate
· Routinely inspects each batch for quality control and follows testing procedures in collaboration with the Lab Technician
· Tracks product(s) being sent out/received by third-party processors and manufacturers
· Monitors inventory levels and actively manages forecasts for supplies, consumables, work in progress (WIP) and finished goods (FG)
Collaborate with the WCM team on new product development
· Works closely with the Product Manager (PM) to identify new products to add to WCM’s product lineup
· Conducts R&D in an effort to make improvements to current offerings as well as creating new products
· Works closely with the Lab Technician to conduct regular testing and provide results/findings to POM, DPO and GM
· Attend new product development meetings as necessary
Ensure compliance with all Maine State rules and regulations for the handling of WCM products
· Keeps and manages all required compliance records related to WCM products
· Interfaces with other company teams and functions to affect accurate record keeping
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
· Maintains accurate records when working off-site with consultants and/or contractors
Cultivates relationships with vendors, contractors and consultants to ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds WCM standards and is completed in a timely manner.
Administrative Responsibilities

· Assist with WCM Operations Manual and SOP cataloguing
Supervisor Relationship
· Attend weekly meetings – prepare and present situational updates on Extraction production, facilities, etc.
· Review the extraction schedule and forecasts for key dates, quantities, etc.
· Advise on the effects of management decisions relating to inventory needs
Qualifications, Experience, Education Required
· High School Diploma
· 2+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced production environment
· At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
· Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept, lead, and complete additional projects or challenges
· Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
· Demonstrates leadership potential in a high-volume production facility
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Verbal and written communication skills in a team environment
· Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, particularly those that govern the medical cannabis industry is preferred but not required
· Ability to accept criticism and deal calmly with high-stress situations
· A positive attitude, flexible schedule and at least 40 hours per week

We are looking for an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to assist the Inventory and Sales team with daily tasks such as, order fulfillment, dispatching and reporting by utilizing data management to optimize functionality and efficiency in order completion.
In this role you will….
- Communicate with Inventory & Packaging Manager, and Sales team to understand timing of deliveries and shipments of internal and external products.
- Work closely with the inventory and packaging teams to ensure product is packaged, sorted and ready for departure within given timeframe; assist with packaging products regularly.
- Verify product and manifest accuracy as deliveries are prepped and processed from the inventory and packaging department.
- Ensure all orders are accurately dispatched, with the proper paperwork per state and local compliance; communicate product delivery schedules with sales team.
- Submit RFQ's to third party secure transport companies to ensure we are receiving the most economically beneficial price; build and maintain relationships with each company.
- Be direct point of contact for the third-party secure transport companies to ensure timely pick up & delivery of orders on a weekly basis.
- Manage delivery of all external product, cannabis related and facility inventory, verifying manifest and product quality; notify the proper team of any discrepancies and ensure proper resolution.
- Ensure packages are distributed to proper departments in timely manner.
- Manage and maintain various facility inventory levels for each department; place orders on a regular basis within provided budget.
- Responsible for processing, scheduling, and verifying accuracy of sales orders upon reception from sales team; continuously evaluate process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Audit digital inventory to ensure accuracy with sales reports and report any discrepancies to management.
- Assist Operations Director with various administrative related tasks for the facility.
Skills and experience you have...
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and 2+ years related experience, or equivalent.

- Support a small but growing business

- Plan, host and emcee a minimum of 8 corporate events/year. This includes event set-up and tear down.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- A 4 year degree is required for this role.
