ROLE: PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
A.P. Keaton is a full-service marketing agency based in Great Neck, Long Island, NY, 30 minutes from New York City. We’re looking for a Production Coordinator. As a full-service agency, our Production team manages the engineering, production and fabrication of a wide range of displays, marketing materials and environmental experiences servicing the adult beverage, cannabis, beauty, and CPG industries to name a few.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
To succeed in this role, you must possess a willingness and capacity to learn. Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating skills are critical to your success. The motivation and initiative to coordinate meetings and collaborate with team members will ultimately be what makes you successful. Familiarity with architectural drawings, or the ability to learn how to read and interpret designs and renderings is essential. Estimating and/or fabrication experience using a broad range of materials and techniques is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with vendors to determine the cost and timing of projects: print, production and fabrication
- Managing timing of projects once in production
- Communicating daily with the sales team to ensure schedules and budgets are met
- Determining and maintaining quality control standards
- Writing POs to vendors, monitoring purchase requests
- Maintaining knowledge in the world of materials, production processes, engineering drawings and plans
- Providing sales staff with pricing guides and current items in production
- Find new technologies and materials that we can offer to our clients or incorporate into our designs
- Develop new systems to increase workflow between departments and our vendors
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with G-Suite is required
- Experience with Monday.com is a plus
- Software experience with programs like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and SolidWorks is a plus
