Eaze is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of activities pertaining to Eaze’s accounting cycles, including ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of accounting records, completing balance sheet reconciliations, performing financial analysis, and preparing financial reports. This individual will play a crucial role in building a strong financial foundation for a rapidly growing company. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager and will collaborate with other members of the finance team and other business stakeholders. This is a key role within the Accounting team and provides a great opportunity for professional growth.
What you’ll do
- Partner cross-functionally to develop, implement, improve, and execute financial and accounting processes and systems
- Prepare monthly workpapers and manage month end close deliverables
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts which include accrued liabilities, inventory, debt, equity and more.
- Regularly produce financial reports or statements
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Collaborate on system implementations for ERP software.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget process, monthly budget variance analysis and monthly financial reports
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps in processes, preparing recommendations and implementing ways to improve efficiency and spending..
- Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
- Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests
- Train staff accountants on accounting principles and best practices

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
- Excellent Excel skills a must
- CPA or CPA Candidate strongly preferred
- Experience with Odoo, QBO, Fathom, and/or Floqast a plus
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures like revenue recognition, accrued expense, and intercompany consolidation
- Systems thinker with demonstrated process improvement skills and knowledge of accounting best practices and standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, presentation); communicates in a clear, concise, and organized manner; active listener and listens to others to obtain information.
- Strong business and financial acumen and a willingness to have an impact on the business.

What you’ll do
- Manage and maintain Eaze’s corporate document portfolio, legal entity structure, IP portfolio, contracts, and corporate databases and improve related internal processes.
- Assist attorneys in an array of corporate and commercial transactions, from preparation to closing.
- Manage Eaze’s Equity program through Carta.
- Draft a variety of corporate documents, including intercompany agreements, confidentiality agreements, incorporation documents, shareholder and board resolutions, meeting minutes, officer certificates, powers of attorney and employment/equity documents

This position will be responsible for managing corporate and commercial contract processes, and assisting Eaze’s legal team in a variety of complex M&A and fundraising. This role will report to the VP, Corporate and Commercial Legal.
What you’ll do
- Manage and maintain Eaze’s corporate document portfolio, legal entity structure, IP portfolio, contracts, and corporate databases and improve related internal processes.
- Assist attorneys in an array of corporate and commercial transactions, from preparation to closing.
- Manage Eaze’s Equity program through Carta.
- Draft a variety of corporate documents, including intercompany agreements, confidentiality agreements, incorporation documents, shareholder and board resolutions, meeting minutes, officer certificates, powers of attorney and employment/equity documents
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsels and outside vendors in various legal matters.
- Manage diligence responses and population of digital data rooms for fundraising and M&A.
- Provide legal support to and work with internal teams on a variety of legal matters.
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house at a technology company
- Corporate and contracts experience, including digital advertising insertion orders, entity formation and maintenance, contracts review, drafting, and negotiation, and corporate governance practices
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
- Comfortable making judgment calls, spotting issues, and escalating to the team when necessary
- Outstanding writing, research, negotiating, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must.
- Adept at technical tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Carta, and document sharing and e-signing tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where decisions you make will have a large impact
- Teamwork mentality and enthusiasm to help others

- Drive product development for our in-house driver apps (iOS & Android) and the dispensary-facing tools that power our delivery operations

- Identify and track product KPIs to understand how our products are performing

As a Stachs Shift Supervisor, you will support a warehouse (or depot) operation, serving as the logistics & execution arm for our on-demand cannabis delivery marketplace. You will be responsible for supporting daily depot & delivery needs by tasking across live operations (monitoring Eaze’s live ops dashboard and/or picking/packing orders), driver management (training, timesheets), and inventory management (receipt & maintenance). You will also report to the Stachs Depot Manager who is responsible for overall management of the depot.
Given Eaze will be new to Michigan in Q2 2021, this role gives you the opportunity to lay the groundwork for the successful expansion of Eaze’s marketplace outside of California, where Eaze (powered by Stachs) is a cannabis delivery titan.
Stachs Shift Supervisor Responsibilities
Live Operations:
-Monitor live operations dashboard to ensure depot is providing an excellent customer experience, -maximizing revenue, and minimizing costs
- Check drivers in/out
- Pick & pack orders
- Process and record daily cash intake, noting discrepancies to management
Drivers:
- Support new driver training
- Support driver scheduling timesheet reviews
Inventory:
- Support inventory receipt, QC, and stickering
- Support weekly inventory cycle counts
- Support communication with brand vendors
Education & Experience:
- Retail or hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus
- 21+ years of age
- Experience with point of sale software suites

As a Full-Time Support Specialist, you will respond to escalated inbound customer inquiries from front-line agents in the call center. You will ensure that call center agent questions are answered in the appropriate channel to ensure customers are taken care of in a timely fashion. You will also ensure that questions asked by the call center can be found in the Tier 1 Guidebook, if the documentation does not exist, you will suggest the addition of any and all documentation needed by our front line call center to the Quality Improvement Team.
You will work closely with the Quality Improvement Team to ensure any knowledge gaps are filled and referenced in the Tier 1 Guidebook, The Payment Support Team to ensure payment inquiries are handled in a timely fashion and that customers receive timely follow-up regarding their inquiry, the Partner Operations team to ensure issues from licensed retailers, drivers and brand partners are handled professionally and in a timely fashion.
This position is a full-time, remote position and will require weekends, nights and some holidays. Hours of operation are currently based on PST.

What you'll do
As IT Associate, you will be working closely with our other employees to respond to a variety of desktop support issues. We’re looking for an experienced Media Coordinator who is ready to jump in to support Eaze marketing drive demand through a robust media mix. You’ll be working closely with our Head of Advertising to evaluate new advertising channels, coordinate creative and deliverables for each vendor and report on learnings and results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist and coordinate administrative components that are essential in implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
- Helping with RFPs - quality check, filing, sharing with legal for compliance review and provide feedback / correspondence to media partners
- Production - gather necessary production information, create production summaries, track creative allocation, and creative deliverables
- Production summaries (i.e. collect specs & delivery information from vendor partners, put together excel grid for campaign deliverables, and confirm due dates)
- Coordinate deliverables - based on media plan, promo codes, variations, etc.
- Help with creating promos and UTM tracking
- Collect and manage contracts and invoices - communicate with vendors and necessary internal parties
- Recommendation and planning deliverables (excel, decks, and mapping)
- Help with campaign reporting and recaps
- Aid in vendor / media opportunity vetting + schedule meetings
- Coordinate with expansion team to keep list of upcoming areas to expand for media opps and keep vendors in the loop by updating our external list
What We’re Looking For

The Supply Chain Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for planning and purchasing inventory from a multiple supplier base to support a multi-tiered distribution network. The position will place orders with suppliers, monitor and expedite product when required, and manage supplier relationships. - Review inventory position and analyze inventory needs across assigned suppliers/locations.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers using multiple tools and systems.
- Understand basic principles of supplier lead time, inventory days on hand, demand variability and forecasting.
- Review forecast based on historical sales and recent trends.
- Interact with suppliers to manage portfolio including forecast, ordering, and expediting of material.
- Interact with operations team to manage inventory position and scheduling.
- Review current work practices and look for opportunities to streamline and more effectively manage the process.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.

The General Manager role is one of the most challenging and impactful roles at Stachs. No two days are the same for a Stachs GM. GMs own the P&L for their territory by defining marketplace strategies, building and managing market-level on-the-ground teams, and working cross-functionally to hit marketplace KPIs. Stachs GMs work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize territory performance in key supply and demand areas such as driver & inventory management + digital & out-of-home marketing.
Given Eaze will be new to Michigan in Q2 2021, the Stachs Michigan GM role offers candidates an opportunity to be the tip of the spear in laying the groundwork for a successful expansion of Eaze’s marketplace outside of California, where Eaze (powered by Stachs) is a cannabis delivery titan. Responsibilities
- Manage a territory P&L across multiple markets to meet financial targets
- Work closely with internal teams to drive supply-side KPIs across driver performance & inventory management
- Work closely with Eaze marketing team to implement market-specific digital & out-of-home campaigns / growth initiatives
- Support new market launches, build teams to operate them, and manage the leaders of those teams (Depot Managers responsible for day-to-day operations across the markets within a territory) to achieve performance targets
- Roll up sleeves to learn Eaze’s marketplace from the ground up, ensuring successful management of downstream reports and an understanding of what it takes to win in cannabis delivery
Requirements
- Has 8+ years of work experience, including 4+ in an on-demand marketplace business, top consulting or investment banking firm, or applicable cannabis business
- Is a problem solving self-starter who knows when to ask for help
- Can use strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders in high-pressure situations
- Has the ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders with aggressive timelines
- Has strong quantitative and analytical skills - we’re data driven in everything we do!
- Has leadership aptitude and experience - people want to follow you!
- Is passionate about delivering a stellar customer experience through operational excellence
- Is willing to travel locally within their territory (Michigan)
- Has a strong educational background
