VT-CBD Labs is one of multiple companies under the ownership group that operates in various facets of the hemp and cannabis industries. These entities are all centered around cultivation, processing, extraction, and cannabinoid technology. While we do have company owned laboratories, we also engage in technology licensing agreements with other groups in states across the country. Summary:
We are searching for an organized driven individual to be our new Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator's responsibilities include reporting directly to the Chief Operation Officer and helping to execute tasks at all levels of the business. This job will require the ability to work in a face paced environment. The individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset with a wide skill set to execute at the level necessary for the position.
To be successful as an Operations Coordinator, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Operational Coordinator’s Schedule:
You will be working out of our corporate headquarters in Clearwater, FL. There will be some ability to work remotely, but most days will be spent with management in the office. Additionally, there will be a small amount of travel required to attend meetings and to assist in operations at the various laboratory locations.
Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
Assisting the COO with operations and being able to maintain the business in their absence.
Must be able to assimilate information and maintain the confidentiality of the company.
Responsible for ensuring that company operations are conducted in a professional manner.
Fielding phone calls from Operations Managers and suppliers when needed.
Helping to order supplies for all business locations across the country.
Assisting with data input, inventory, and organization of shipments.
Providing excellent service and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Scheduling meetings and travel as required.
Promptly reviewing, organizing, and answering emails.
Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
Occasionally will travel to assist COO at the various laboratory operations.
Must demonstrate and report effective time management.
Consistently prove initiative, enthusiasm, and efficiency.
Operations Coordinator Requirements:
College Degree preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role in lieu of degree.
Prior operational business experience is advantageous.Proficient in MS Office; quick and agile in learning new technologies and software.
Proactive attitude with the ability to be adaptable with a willingness to help.
Adapts well to changing plans and priorities, comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
Demonstrates professionalism, maintains a polished demeanor, and positive attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
A willingness to learn.

Lab Supervisor
VT Labs is looking for an individual that shares our passion in the CBD/Cannabis Industry. One who thrives in the ever changing market, and values quality and personnel. Our supervisor will be responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the Company’s operating procedures. They will assist our General Manager in overseeing 2-3 lab techs and carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of our cannabinoid purification and conversion processes.
- Operating and maintaining facility systems/equipment; Distillation units, reactors, and spray evaporators.
- Manage lab personnel and resources effectively
- Data collection and Record keeping throughout daily operations.
Requirements: Skills & Abilities
- Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught
- Excellent time-management skills guided in areas related to Conversion/Processing of Cannabis.
- Ability to influence and build consensus
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, paying
- Ability to maintain confidentiality attention to details.
- Ability to focus; attention to detail
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior, and organizational
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly
- Candidate must be at least 21 years of age
- Experience in the operations of Lab
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly

Physical Requirements:
- This position requires: lifting, walking, bending and reaching.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift-up to 50 pounds, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
