Brief Statement of Duties:
Develop and teach undergraduate courses and serve as the program coordinator for the Cannabis and Plant-Based Wellness Operations program. Topics include (but are not limited to): cannabis fundamentals, dispensary operations, dispensary regulations, fundamentals of natural wellness, applied natural wellness retail, and plant wellness customer service. Courses will be entirely online at the 100 and 200 level with a possibility of development and delivery of 300 and 400 level curricula.
Additional duties include student advising, career placement assistance, course and curriculum development, committee assignments, coordination with alumni and potential industry donors, applied research or other scholarly activities, membership in professional organizations, and application of technology in a learning environment. Collaboration with other programs (e.g., Indoor Agriculture, Controlled Environment Agriculture) is expected.
The position is campus-based (remote considered).

ROLE SUMMARY
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Job Description
The True Harvest Difference:
We are a premium craft cannabis producer operating one of the largest indoor cannabis facilities in North America. True Harvest is passionate about growing only the best cannabis. We care about the health and well-being of our medical patients, our employees and our community.
The HR-Operations Administrative Assistant Team Member is responsible for working directly with the Operations/HR Director in handling facility administrative responsibilities. This includes overall clerical support, order processing, time tracking review and updates, recruiting phone screens and more.
Key Duties and Essential Functions:
· Managing orders and deliveries into the facility. Vendor management as needed.
· Interview phone screens and scheduling of in person interviews; maintain Indeed job postings (or other recruiting leads)
· Scanning and file management of receipts/documents
· Time tracking review and update of modifications.
· DA Card management – obtain appropriate documentation; new hire follow up
· Absenteeism/tardies review; HR documentation as needed
· New hire set up and management in scheduling/time tracking and payroll systems; processing of new hire paperwork.
· Personnel file management
· Assist with new hire orientation
· Escorting contractors as needed throughout the facility
· Other duties as required
Other Associated Factors:
· Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
· Working in a warehouse facility and setting.
· Strong administrative and organizational skills; efficient and able to prioritize; exceptional follow up skills and strong work ethic; detail oriented and high level of accuracy; works well under pressure.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize additional office software
· Experience with customer relations and service
· Display professionalism and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
· Ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing
· Ability to understand and follow directions with limited supervision.
· Must maintain a positive attitude and able to communicate in a professional manner with other team members.
· Must be able to work overtime when needed and work on weekends and holidays.
· Don proper PPE as needed.
· Comply with all company policies including confidentiality.
· At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
· Must speak and understand fluent English.
· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Education and Experience:
· 2+ years HR and administrative assistant experience required; must provide verifiable references
· Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent required.
· Experience in the medical cannabis industry or other alternative healthcare organizations is highly desirable.
