ROLE:
The Post-Harvest Associate will be responsible for completing tasks associated with the harvesting and finishing of cannabis plants.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take direction from the Post-Harvest Manager and Leads
- Complete harvest in a safe and timely manner
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Clean and reset all equipment, pots, and tools to prepare for each harvest
- Follow all safety standards and abide by PPE requirements
- Ensure a high standard of quality during all harvest processes

- Ability to follow standard operating procedures for the harvesting, drying, curing, trimming, packaging (if applicable) and extraction (if applicable) preparation process

- Label packaging as directed by supervisor
- Fulfill orders as directed by supervisor
- Maintain inventory counts of raw materials, WIPs, and finished goods
QUALIFICATIONS *
- Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture
- Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience
- Ability to work in an exceedingly fast-paced environment

- Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, extreme high heat, extreme low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables
- Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment in inclement weather for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally in English at a minimum of conversation level.
- Bilingual Spanish/English highly desired.

We are Susie and Brian, Bablon Farms #CCL18-0001810. We currently have 10 acres with a 10,000 sq foot outdoor permit. We are located in Anderson Valley, CA in Mendocino County. We are currently seeking 1-2 farm laborers for our property. We are open and flexible to find the correct person or persons to assist us with the success of the 2021 season and to help maintain the sacred space of our land and home. The ideal candidates would be a couple or 2 friends who are looking to live onsite at a cannabis farm. For the right candidate(s) this opportunity could be full-time.
Our primary need is for candidate(s) who have worked on a cannabis farm before who are either already local to Mendocino County or who are local to Mendocino County and available to live on the property. We grow our plants in the ground in soil that we have been building for four seasons and we use companion planting and cover crops to assist in the overall health of our gardens. We also grow many other medicinal plants and a significant amount of food as well.
This position will report directly to our Farm Manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to standing, bending, lifting 60+ pounds at a time, walking on uneven ground, working outside, and working directly with cannabis plants.

ROLE:
The Cultivation Attendants will be responsible for the harvest of the plants, which will include de-leafing, cutting down of the plants, hanging the plants and spraying the plants and transferring the harvested plants to the drying room. Duties will also include maintaining a clean and healthy environment within the zone for the plants and for fellow associates and will remove the spent pots and clean the area of harvest. The Cultivation Attendant will be responsible for spraying the plants after being trained in spraying techniques and being trained in the use of pesticide spraying. Cultivation Attendant must execute their duties and maintain a productive work environment and strive to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for manicuring, cleaning and staking plants.
- Responsbile for transplanting, pre-harvesting, and harvesting in preparation for processing.
- Effectively and efficiently wash and clean pots and other required daily items.
- Assist with daily tasks in reproductive, vegetative, and flowering stages.
- Cleans vents, hoods, racking, cloners and walls in the facility.
- Capable of completing all relevant repetitive tasks regularly and consistently with a high level of attention to care.
- Cooperate and assist other cultivation leads and associates in the areas of climate, irrigation, growing techniques, production trials, labor savings techniques and in any areas where assistance is required and as requested by other growers, maintenance, and management.
- Monitor harvest operations in coordination with the Harvest Lead to provide best quality of product.
- Cooperate with, collaborate, and assist with cross-functional cultivation and production departments.
- Continuous observation of crop and equipment under the direction of the leadership team.
- Record plant growth patterns, plant temperatures, stresses and condensation points.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all greenhouse equipment.
- Ensure proper crop irrigation by consistently monitoring and calibrating all grow scales, over drain trays, EC and pH sensors.
- Responsible for all crop irrigation.
- Update greenhouse graphs as advised by leadership.
- Monitor and ensure that disinfection procedures are implemented and followed.
- Must be able to clearly convey any information about plants, machines and activities within the cultivation function.
- Identifies hazards, report accidents, incidents and near-miss situations through the proper channels and in a responsible manner so that they can be investigated, determined and eliminated to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintains job-related confidentiality.
- Attendance and punctuality are critical in this role.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid MI state issued ID.

Position Summary
Performs and supports the trimming operations of a cultivation facility. Ensures the visual aesthetic and high quality of the Company product on a day-to-day basis. Carries out tasks including plucking, trimming, hanging, and drying of the Company product. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/TASK
- Hand trims, plucks, cure, and dries Cannabis plants using sanitized tools.
- Ensures high quality and visual aesthetic medical Cannabis product.
- Adheres to strict personal hygienic and facility sanitation policies set forth in Department regulations and Company standards in policies and procedures.
- Works in a focused, quick, and effective manner.
- Ensures a clean and safe workspace and facility by performing all assigned cleaning, cultivation, and assigned tasks
- Maintains accurate records of product handled to ensure product identification, tracking in the Inventory Control System, and quality control
- Assist supervisor or Cultivation Manager with weighing, packaging, labeling and other process activities, including the creating of labels in accordance with Department regulations and standards set by Company policies.
- Takes instruction and direction from supervisors and managers.
- Works in a focused, quick and effective manner.
- Complies with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Maintains quality control measures in accordance with Department regulations and standards set by Company policies.
- Assist with scheduled and random physical inventory counts for product and/or trimming supplies.

- Two years of experience in a general production facility.
- Horticulture experience preferred.
- Any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform plant trimming duties.
- Excellent personal hygiene.
- Ability to sit and trim and perform other assigned tasks for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Must be able to work 3:30 pm. - 12 a.m.

The General Laborer is responsible for supporting daily cultivation and processing operations.

The packager position reports directly to the packing manager and is primarily responsible for packing the company product for delivery to the medicinal marijuana dispensaries. Job responsibilities may include the following:
- Review standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
