The Processing Technician is responsible for properly weighing, manicuring, and inspecting all cannabis flower intended for packaging. Summary/Objective
A manufacturing technician is your foot in the door to the exciting world of cannabis product production. As a Manufacturing Technician you will be expected to monitor and execute Manufacturing/Processing tasks, as well as packaging and labelling duties. You will be responsible for maintaining workflow, space utilization and product quality based on knowledge of product design, materials, parts, capabilities, and quality assurance standards.

Ensures proper communication during changeovers between shifts.
Follow and enforce all company SOPs and Operational Guidelines.

Manufacturing technicians will be required to fill-in on other job roles outside of their direct responsibilities when the need arises such as going along on deliveries, helping with Patient Education Days, and assisting the distribution team with picking inventory for orders or checking orders for accuracy.
The Manufacturing Technician is a direct report to the Extraction Lead and any applicable shift supervisors.

Job Summary
The Processing Technician is responsible for properly weighing, manicuring, and inspecting all cannabis flower intended for packaging. This position is an integral piece of the post-harvest process at Ayr Wellness, ensuring that only the highest-quality, well-manicured cannabis flower is packaged for sale to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hand trims/manicures cannabis flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Removes fan leaves and trunks after harvest to prepare for the drying process.
- Inspects and weighs cannabis flower, as well as unusable stems, stalks, and fan leaves for input into the inventory tracking system.

The Cultivation Technician provides daily care of medical marijuana plants from planting to harvest, and from harvest to drying and processing the plants for shipment to the processing facility. During the cultivation season, the Cultivation Technician will provide quality care and attention to the growing process of the plants from clone to harvest which includes pruning, trimming, watering and providing nutrients. The Cultivation Technician will assist with harvesting the plants and processing the plants through the hanging, curing and packaging of the plants. Detailed recordkeeping and strict adherence to the company’s operating procedures and compliance with the state regulations is essential for this position. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Daily care of medical marijuana plants, including watering, pruning and trimming, inspecting the plants.
- Fertilizing and providing nutrients to the plants according to cultivation protocols set forth by the Lead Grower.
- Careful monitoring of the plants for any signs of growing issues or problems; treatment for disease or infestation.
- Assist with de-leafing and harvesting the medical marijuana plants, including hanging, curing and drying the plants.
- Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and machinery; dispose of waste according to strict compliance guidelines.

- Follow detailed standard operating procedures to neatly and carefully roll, weigh, package, and label various cannabis products into finished products ready for sale per company and state policies and procedures.
- Work on a team and safely operate fast moving and tightly calibrated nitrogen packaging line, which includes strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Continuously monitor the quality of all items associated with filling, packaging, and labeling.

Volta Biotech is a marijuana/hemp processing and refinement company. We can extract 80 pounds every 20 minutes with ethanol - possibly the biggest capacity in the state. On the marijuana side we sell bulk THC distillate (voltabiotech.com). We're in a new building that is well maintained and well lit with security cameras for 24 hour monitoring.
Our capacity is 3 to 4 liters per hour. All of our sales are already committed to customers at current capacity and we're planning to add to our capacity in the next few months. We have some designs for retail products of our own but will take time to formulate the product itself - our focus is on bulk distillate. We do cryo ethanol extraction, decarboxylation, distillation, sonication, and spray drying processes. We also have an analytical HPLC to help with product formulation and verifying plant potency from farmers.
We need production minded personnel to handle the day-to-day production processes after some training. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable on their feet working in the lab doing laboratory tasks most of the day. Familiarity with pumps, hoses, and connections is preferred. Cannabis experience is preferred. Comfortable on forklift is preferred.
The ideal candidate is an individual already experienced with cannabis processing, wants to work with larger equipment, and is excited to join our small 10 person team. Candidate must already be living in the Oklahoma City metro area to be eligible for this job.

Job Summary
The Processing Technician is responsible for properly weighing, manicuring, and inspecting all cannabis flower intended for packaging. This position is an integral piece of the post-harvest process at Ayr Wellness, ensuring that only the highest-quality, well-manicured cannabis flower is packaged for sale to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hand trims/manicures cannabis flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Removes fan leaves and trunks after harvest to prepare for the drying process.
- Inspects and weighs cannabis flower, as well as unusable stems, stalks, and fan leaves for input into the inventory tracking system.
- Performs plant destruction and plant waste destruction in compliance with AYR Wellness, local, and state policies.
- Ensures quality control post-harvest for a clean, seedless, pest and pathogen-free final product.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness of all processing equipment/areas and sanitation practices concerning handling of product according to company procedures.
- Reports any instances of identifiable occurrence of mold, mildew, seeds, pests, or pathogens to the Processing Manager.
- Fosters a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for “everything cannabis”.

Processing Technician 1st Shift- Medical Cannabis

Parker Solutions of Florida, LLC, d/b/a Liberty Health Sciences Florida, Ltd. is a Medical Marijuana Treatment Center that has been granted a license by the Florida Department of Health to cultivate, process, transport, and dispense low-THC cannabis, medical cannabis, and cannabis delivery devices pursuant to Florida Statutes.
The Processing Technician will be harvesting, curing, and processing all post cultivation plant material to ensure proper status for either packaging or extraction. This position will report directly to the Post Cultivation Lead and will be responsible for meeting all the listed requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Operation of all harvest equipment.
- Sanitation of all harvest equipment; twisters, grinders, carts, trays, ovens, totes, and sealers.
- Ensure proper handling throughout the transition of product from state-state.
- Record and capture data precisely from all operations that are performed daily.
- Optimize work flow.
- Maintain consistent cure and processing parameters.
- Harvest on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a clean work environment in all respective areas.
- Ensure that proper protective equipment is being used.
Requirements
- Required to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check (FBI)
- Previous experience in harvesting or in the medical cannabis industry preferred; but is not required.

Job Summary
The Processing Technician is responsible for properly weighing, manicuring, and inspecting all cannabis flower intended for packaging. This position is an integral piece of the post-harvest process at Ayr Wellness, ensuring that only the highest-quality, well-manicured cannabis flower is packaged for sale to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hand trims/manicures cannabis flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Removes fan leaves and trunks after harvest to prepare for the drying process.
- Inspects and weighs cannabis flower, as well as unusable stems, stalks, and fan leaves for input into the inventory tracking system.
- Performs plant destruction and plant waste destruction in compliance with AYR Wellness, local, and state policies.

We are looking to add one last team member to our production team. Between our Denver and Boulder facility we have increased production and are producing hundreds of pounds of Connoisseur Grade cannabis a month. This had led to explosive growth and the need to have several new team members.

This is a multi-location position as well. All trimming, packaging and logistics will be based in Denver but will have 7-8 days a month in Boulder for Harvest and bucking. In a week you may be Packaging and weighing cannabis for customers, trimming our Connoisseur grade cannabis and harvesting the plants. The Processing Technician is a hands-on role, supporting areas of cannabis product production, from extraction to finished goods, and ensuring that products are manufactured and packaged on schedule, within quality standards, meeting cost objectives and shipping on-time to the customer. The Processing Technician works to implement process changes and system enhancements and participates heavily in quality control over all product the facility furnishes for retail. Previous cannabis experience is not required, but candidates should have some familiarity and comfortability with cannabis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all processing steps to obtain finished products safely, efficiently, with the best quality possible.
- Provide support for production functions, including supply and distribution logistics, order process, scheduled production, and inventory management
- Maintain a sanitary and organized inventory of product; effectively compartmentalize strains, batches, and corresponding numeric values to reduce any confusion or mislabeling; facilitate accurate inventory control at all steps
- Correctly utilize appropriate checklists, logs, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures
- Understand areas of production and adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
- Assist in keeping operation running with proactive processes
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all OSHA, state, federal, and local regulations and as well as accident prevention plan that include fire, safety, evacuation, laboratory, etc.
- Ensure product is tested and verified to meet quality standards
- Identify, classify, and report any processing or product deviations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support facility initiatives and other duties or specific projects assigned by the Processing Manager

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; prefer Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or other related discipline
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
- Experience in a laboratory or production environment highly preferred
- Experience in agricultural, product processing, or analysis is a plus
- Practice and understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials
- General knowledge of processing and analytical equipment
- Experience in tracking software

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Implement established best practices for manufacturing therapeutic cannabis-based products.
- Responsible for daily duties related to the manufacturing process of cannabis-based products.
- Enforces and complies with safety procedures and consults with department managers about safety issues that may arise.

We are looking for a Packaging Processing Technician to work in our Clinton cultivation and manufacturing facility, preparing products for our patients and customers.

Position Overview:
The Packaging and Processing Technician is responsible for handling and processing dry plant material, running standard production machinery, weighing, manicuring, inspecting and assisting with general packaging of products within our facility. This position is an integral piece of ensuring that only the highest-quality, well-manicured cannabis flower is packaged for sale to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently trim flower according to Affinity standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Effectively prepare flower material for pre-roll production and run the basic machinery to roll pre-rolls.
- Accurately perform filling, packaging, and labeling of products within the production facility. This includes, but is not limited to bulk flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, edibles, and other marijuana infused products.
- Continuously monitor the quality of all items associated with filling, packaging, and labeling in order to minimize waste or rework.
- Process drying rooms, scan all products, and prepare room to be re-filled
- Fill and monitor Cure room under guidance of management
- Make sure all production areas and equipment are always clean and sanitized according to Affinity standard operating procedures.
- Work as a member of a fast-paced team environment to help the team meet group goals.
- Hand trim cannabis flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring high quality standards are met.
- Remove fan leaves and trunks after harvest to prepare for drying process.
- Maintain high level of cleanliness of all processing equipment / areas and sanitation practices .
- Report any identifiable occurrence of mold, mildew, seeds, pests, or pathogens to the Processing Manager.
- Other tasks as assigned.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement established best practices for manufacturing therapeutic cannabis-based products
- Responsible for daily duties related to the manufacturing process of cannabis-based products
- Enforces and complies with safety procedures and consults with department managers about safety issues that may arise
- Responsible for cannabis extracting, cannabis refinement, and overall upkeep of the lab including daily cleaning
- Work with both manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Reviews all daily laboratory paperwork and corrects errors found in a timely manner

The Role: As a Cannabis Processing Technician you will be an integral part of our production facility. This position is quite varied and can mean you are performing several different tasks in a given day or week. This translates to running pre-roll equipment, twisting/closing pre-rolls, packaging cannabis flowers, extracts, or vape cartridges, and general tasks associated with the processing of cannabis products being made ready for retail.
This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform fine motor tasks in a repetitive manner. - Open the Post-Processing facilities and turn on the lights and all necessary equipment
- Ensure all processes are tracked in the post-processing areas on the appropriate datasheet
- Ensure all products are organized by batch and strain
- Organize all final bulk extracts
- Organize bulk extracts that are ready for packaging
- Make a list of supplies and material needed to get the job done or that would help get the job done more efficiently
- Ensure all scales are calibrated at the beginning of the day.
- Ensure cold traps are emptied and cleaned bi-weekly
- Carry out preventable maintenance program with post-processors
- Ensure the work area is cleaned and all equipment, tools, and instruments are sanitized at the end of each day
- Effectively communicate with packaging to ensure they have the tools they need to be successful. Primarily bulk product.
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot the packaging processes as needed
- Clean all tools and supplies in ultrasonic cleaner, collect dirty ethanol, and pass off to 53’ pod for recycling.

The Position
Processing Technicians are the unsung heroes of the cannabis industry, helping transform a scraggly bud into a work of art. By removing the leaf from buds, the cannabis flower is transformed into a finished and smokable flower. Without Processing Technicians, we can’t get the flower to consumers.
You must be precise and dexterous in scissor trimming and must maintain a clean and organized work environment to avoid contaminating the product. You must also identify mold, mildew and pests for removal. Processing Technicians must be able to sit and focus for long periods of time.
Daily compliance with Company policies is required and this includes but is not limited to: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules. Operate with integrity and honesty, Also perform any other duties as assigned,
You will be expected to work daily from 8:30am until 5:00pm. Lunches and breaks are included in this time.
Role Requirements:
- Experience with cannabis growing, cultivating, and trimming preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Trimming and manicuring the cannabis flower
· Ensuring waste is properly stored, either in the Plant Trash Bins or the General/Non-Plant Trash Bins.
· Monitor, clean and maintain all trim and packaging equipment and operate all equipment safely in its intended manner.
· Ensure compliance at all times with all sanitation regulations and safety standards in the production of all extracted products produced by the company as set in the company's Policy and Procedure Manuals
· Follow weekly schedules to ensure there is proper coverage based on the business needs
· Reporting any instances of identifiable occurrence of mold, mildew, seeds, pests, or pathogens to the Dry and Trim Manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School or GED required

Job Description
We are seeking Processing Technicians to perform cannabis harvesting, drying, trimming, and packaging operations at our cultivation and processing center. Each Processing Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively harvesting, drying, trimming, converting the cannabis materials into high quality products.
- Learns and performs proper techniques for harvesting, drying and curing Cannabis
- Cross-trains on and working alongside with the Processing team with the harvest, drying, trimming, weighing, and packaging of PharmaCann’s broad medical cannabis product line when required.
- Cleans any/all production areas to ensure no cross contamination occurs.
- Follows the SOP’s in regards to documenting your daily work on daily recap sheet.
- Follows appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of batches and/or weights of batches.
- Performs in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure the product meets or exceeds PharmaCann quality standards.
- Aspires to learn the components of the plant.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Performing his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.
- Carrying out all harvesting, drying, trimming, weighing and packaging operations in an efficient manner that also complies with all GMP’s, OSHA regulations, PharmaCann SOP’s and all applicable required procedures.
- Ensuring 100% compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
- Following appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of cannabis strains and batches.
- Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed PharmaCann’s specifications and patients’ expectations. Such quality assurance work and reporting shall include but not be limited to:
- Recording and monitoring process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures
- Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout PharmaCann’s process
- Continually strive and work with the remainder of the Production Team to improve PharmaCann’s processes for improved patient safety, quality, and efficient manufacturing
- Assist in monitoring processing supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.
- State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over.
- The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.
