As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
- Assisting with data reporting through comparison of multiple data sets
- Reviewing each data point for accuracy
- Uploading data into Vista’s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Utilizing LIMS to create sample reports
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure sample data meets all requirements

- Create reports in Excel when necessary
- Ensure Moxie adheres to legal standards and in house policies

- This position oversees METRC inventory management and ensures that all steps of the METRC compliance processes are met on site
- Audit and report on METRC data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance

As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
- Assisting with data reporting through comparison of multiple data sets

- Uploading data into Vista’s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Utilizing LIMS to create sample reports

The Data Entry Specialist role is a key position responsible for entering lab testing orders accurately and in a timely manner, coordinating pickups with clients, and invoicing clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive testing samples from drivers and via mail
- Review paperwork for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctness.
- Inspect samples to ensure sample integrity is retained, sample quantity is sufficient, and that the packaging is not compromised.
- Enter testing orders into the lab information management system (LIMS)
- Log samples into spreadsheets for tracking.
- Alert staff when new samples arrive via messenger and in-person communication.
- Call or email clients to clarify details of testing orders.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Data entry into our source systems, including, but not limited to, items, related item attributes, taxonomies, and other related master data components based on Market-specific regulatory requirements
- Adhering to data entry SOPs within Seed-to-Sale, WMS, and other applications/tracking systems
- Adhering to all regulatory and internal/external audit requirements regarding data entry
- Performing data cleanup in our source systems and Excel for alignment & integration projects
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of training materials, reference guides, work instructions, and/or policies and procedures regarding data entry into the source systems
- Supports the Commercialization Team members in all master data needs when launching new strains/products/items and when updating existing product lines
- Supports the Compliance/QA Department to ensure QA/QC protocols for master data alignment, including but not limited to any internal audit requests

Our company is looking for a METRC Specialist/Data Entry Analyst to join our large-scale farm’s office. METRC stands for Marijuana Enforcement, Tracking, Reporting, and Compliance. METRC is a web-based state-mandated tracking and reporting software to chart chain of custody of all marijuana and marijuana-infused products from seed to sale. A METRC Specialist will be efficient in working with multiple departments and staff members that are utilizing the METRC system. Candidates will be versed in all METRC procedures to prevent errors and loss through expiration, diversion and other issues related to commercial cannabis handling and processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entering all state and county required inventory data for all plants and packages on-site from nursery to distribution licenses.

- Reporting and identifying cause for discrepancies after an audit has been performed to evaluate what issues had occurred and how to avoid them in the future
- Verifying manifests to ensure proper information is correctly filled and completed prior to departures
- Verifying packages that are created and broken down are correct with its affixed METRC tag
- Preparing documentation and processes for marijuana waste disposal
