Job Decription:
The Field Marketing Manager/Brand Ambassador will work alongside the CEO, the Wholesale Manager and our existing Field Marketing Manager. The Field Marketing Manager/Brand Ambassador is responsible for creating and driving brand awareness and making sure COAST is known across the state through marketing, social media, virtual and live events, etc. The role will include supporting the Wholesale Manager with on-site and virtual training for our retail partners as well as customer Pop-Up events at retailers. Having nights and weekend availability is a must. This person is expected to be self-motivated, own the success of their role and drive that success daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY
As Cresco Labs looks to accelerate the growth of its Sunnyside* retail brand, the company is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join our Retail Marketing team. In this role, you will play a part in the development of integrated retail marketing campaigns with a focus on building the Sunnyside* retail brand as we scale across new and existing markets. This position will work closely with cross-functional partners across retail operations, eCommerce, CRM, social media, creative agencies, compliance, finance, and others to drive key initiatives and deliver results.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Be the #1 champion of the Sunnyside* retail brand including ownership of brand guidelines, brand positioning, development of national campaigns, and supporting local markets with regional campaigns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and brand strategy, from briefing creative agencies to activating across our marketing channels.
- Collaborate with in-store, paid media, eCommerce, social and CRM team to bring brand campaigns to life via multiple owned channels and lead development of associated creative.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

POSITION SUMMARY

As a marketing manager, you will use all the tools at your disposal to drive brand knowledge and product awareness in 2020 as we launch new products, new stores and expansions. You will report directly to the VP and grow the marketing team as we grow.
You will help navigate the complex legalities of the medicinal cannabis business it may be beneficial to have experience in a regulated market. You will hit the ground running and wow us with your energetic, detail-oriented and creative approach.
This job offers possible work-from-home option 2 days/week.
RESPONSIBILITIES (what you’ll do on a day-to-day basis):
· Develop and execute monthly and yearly marketing goals and objectives
· Work with production teams timing to plan and promote sales
· Assist in planning and executing events, dispensary visits and promotions
· Keep and evaluate records to validate marketing initiate successes
· Manage social media accounts
· Update digital media partners (Weedmaps, Leafly, Leaflink, others).
· Help manage and create email newsletters to patients and dispensaries
· Help develop collateral (flyers, brochures, displays). Including copy writing in Spanish and English
· Assist in developing advertising targets and graphics
· Stay up to date on market changes
· Develop weekly status reports and attend weekly meetings
· Become a patient advocate and share feedback to relevant parties
SKILLS
· Extremely good time management

· Ability to develop brand identity visually and in communications, closely following brand guidelines
· Finish tasks on time and to completion, every time
· Self-organizer with the ability to run projects relatively autonomously

· Strong communication skills, connecting all facets of the business
· Solid understanding of how to engage patients across social media platforms
· Ability to juggle multiple work streams at the same time, while remaining focused and calm
· Curiosity to learn all facets of the business
· Project management
· Cannabis knowledge (effects, strains, benefits)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Puerto Rico Cannabis industry certification
- Marketing degree or 4+ years experience (preferred)
- 3+ years marketing account management experience (preferred)
- Exceptional customer service mindset
- Strong cultural connector and communicator
- Wordpress experience
DESIRED SKILLS, QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape
- Excellent leadership, planning, communication skills
- Proven track record of success and experience
- Lifestyle brand and/or start up experience
