Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

- Encourage and lead Marihuana Sales Location Team to meet sales goals as set forth by the Corporate Staff
- Serve as neighborhood and community liaison
- Vast knowledge of products Sozo sells and produces along with other industry products
- Give performance reviews for the Marihuana Sales Location Team. Reward and discipline team members fairly and appropriately according to the Sozo employee handbook
- Oversee the hiring, discipline, termination, or promotion of employees
- Check email multiple times daily
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure
- Responsible for reporting employee infractions (reporting, inventory, tracking, cash) to company leadership, and to the MRA as appropriate
- Bear ultimate responsibility for the success of the team and the sales location, including cash and inventory
- Adhere to and create a culture of compliance for security protocols in opening and closing the facility
- Participation outside of the posted schedule may be required (e.g., meetings, emergencies, deliveries).
- Serve as an example of responsibility, punctuality, and work ethic for other employees
- Attend trade shows, expos, and other industry events when possible for the purpose of evaluating the potential benefits of new technology, products, services, etc
- Cover for store in the event of a staffing deficit
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience managing a retail store and team, marihuana sales location experience preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertinent to the operation
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational, innovative problem-solving, attention to detail, team building, and conflict resolution
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass all background checks

- Manage email by drafting responses on the executive’s behalf, clearing out unnecessary messages and distributing them to other team members
- Create an organizational process in order to make each day smooth and efficient
- Coordinate logistics and prepare materials for meetings, calls and events
- Schedule and manage calendars
- Prioritize meeting requests, working proactively to identify and mitigate schedule conflicts
- Make personal and business travel arrangements, including the creation of itineraries as well as air and hotel accommodations
- Prepare monthly credit card statements for the corporate card and facilitate expense report approval from leadership
- Facilitate the accounting process by requesting purchase orders and trafficking invoices
- Assist with additional personal tasks as needed to support daily efficiency, gift pickup, meal coordination, etc.

Salary: $32,000.00 to $71,219.00 /year
