Operations Services @ Curaleaf is a critical component of the agenda for Operations. Operations Services is designated to drive the delivery of processes, equipment and systems that best enable Operations. Position Summary:
The VP, Cannabis Cultivation and Operations is responsible for the effective operation of Fluresh’s 30-acre Adrian campus that includes ~60,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse grow and Grand Rapid’s ~70,000 sq.ft. indoor grow. This position oversees cultivation, extraction, post-harvest, and packaging departments; regulatory compliance; and all other functions necessary for the successful cultivation and production of cannabis products. The individual will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting to the CEO, influencing strategic planning for the organization. The position oversees diverse business operations, including leading senior level managers; cultivation oversight, staff scheduling and supervision; procurement and production planning, management of facility planning; regulatory compliance; and ensuring a safe, secure, and productive work environment. This position will also report out to Fluresh’s Board of Directors periodically and will interface with key business partners at Fluresh’s facilities.

Summary
Moxie is looking for a VP of Operations for its venture into Utah's cannabis space with its partnership with Pure UT. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in cannabis manufacturing/processing, excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, strong emotional intelligence, and an exemplary work ethic.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Operations is responsible for overseeing Pure UT’s operations to develop and deliver high-quality products and ensure the business operations are lean, efficient, effective, and systematic. In the ever-changing the climate of the Cannabis industry, the VP of Operations will establish standards and procedures while remaining agile to changing regulations and product demands. In addition, this role will require a strong, collaborative leader with the ability to build and lead a high-functioning team, driving results and ensuring both quality and volume demands are satisfied. The VP of Operations will provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure that Pure UT has the proper operational controls and administrative and reporting procedures in place to execute and effectively grow the organization. Responsibilities
· Executes the Company’s manufacturing, production, and retail value propositions.

Qualifications and Skills

VP OF OPERATIONS
The VP of Production directs, manages, participates, and provides support to the design, activities, and operations of the cultivation and production division of the organization, including its cannabis cultivation, harvest, drying, curing, processing, packaging and fulfillment operations. The VP of Production will combine analytical and technical knowledge, business skills and practical experience to grow business and achieve aggressive revenue goals. The VP of Production participates in the ongoing strategic planning and vision for the company and its cultivation and production facilities and teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees all aspects of farm operations and participates with the Executive team in critical development decisions including production and harvest plans, budgets, and labor management issues.
- In conjunction with the cultivation team, develops and designs cultivation operations within allocated resources: budget, staffing and timeliness.
- Executes on production plans and schedules, ensuring the production goals are met, that cultivation greenhouses are maintained in accordance with best-in-practice standards, and that facilities are turned around (cleaned and sanitized) efficiently.
- Ensures that integrated pest management and irrigation procedures are executed and updated in accordance with Harborside standards; ensures that environmental controls are maintained at appropriate settings to account for the life-cycle of the plants.
- Sources best-of-class equipment, materials and procedures within allocated budget and develops workflow and greenhouse layout to minimize labor requirements and maximize crop yield.
- In conjunction with the onsite management team, develops standard operating procedures, manages, and coordinates operations including daily activities, equipment acquisition, maintenance, training schedules, personnel, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Ensures timely and efficient harvests and the adherence to harvest schedules.
- Overseas all of Harborside’s post-harvest operations including drying, curing, bucking, trimming, and packaging functions; establishes and assigns KPIs for the above-referenced functions, and holds team members for performance against those standards.
- Communicates values, strategies, and objectives; assign accountabilities; plans, monitors, and appraises job results; develops incentives, a climate for offering information and opinions, and provides educational opportunities to the management team.

- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to refine omni-channel strategies to continuously deliver a seamless end to end customer experience that spans both online and stores.
- Stay informed of new technology and cannabis industry initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency within stores.
- Partner with the Human Resources department to support training tools and new hire onboarding process to enhance customer experience and increase store productivity.
- Establish the rules of engagement to ensure that clear expectations are set and agreed upon between business units while fostering collaborative working relationships with retail operations to drive business growth, strategic initiatives and global operational standards.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business or related field
- 15+ years of retail and operational experience, specifically in field operations, workforce management and communications
- Retail operations experience in the Cannabis industry a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritize workload to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines

CORE JOB DUTIES
- Oversee day-to day company operations across multiple sites throughout the California region, working cross-functionally in areas across cultivation, manufacturing, processing, packaging, production, etc.
- Develop strategic and tactical plans for improving business functions, including the creation and execution of SOPs, operational best practices, and policies/procedures to ensure proper management and efficiencies across each facility.

- Hire, train, and manage a team of Operations Directors and managers, with indirect reports across a large volume of operations personnel at each site level.
- Develop and monitor KPI's to measure departmental performance, reporting back to the leadership team and leading gap analysis to determine improvements where necessary.
- Work cross-functionally with compliance, quality, and safety departments to ensure the facilities meet requirements of the local, state, and federal guidelines.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field, MBA preferred
- 10+ years leading operations in highly regulated industry, including a minimum of 5 years leading and developing a large team of individuals across multiple disciplines (including SKU rationalization, inventory management, Yield Improvement, Distribution, Compliance, etc) and locations
- Working knowledge across multiple business functions, including operations, sales, supply chain, etc. within a manufacturing or production setting. Lean Six Sigma within S&OP strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices and good business analysis/project management skills
- Proven ability to manage numerous projects, as well as resources, remotely in a highly dispersed organization
- Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to make data driven decisions

Cresco Labs is seeking a Vice President of Operations Compliance to create, implement, and maintain all of our internal compliance functions across our National cultivation operations.
In this role, the VP of Operations Compliance will work within a team of experienced compliance professionals to comprehensively enhance and strengthen our compliance function across multiple disciplines throughout our cultivation facilities, ensuring our operations are consistent with applicable laws, regulations, contractual requirements, reporting, and industry best practices. The VP of Operations Compliance must have a strong working knowledge of federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards as it relates to the cannabis, hemp, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing industries, and operate with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Partner across cultivation, operations, food and beverage, manufacturing, and related departments to provide direction towards developing and promoting the compliance management strategy, including initiatives for SOPs, audit, training, and overall awareness and conformance with regulations
- Asses organizational systems (both physical and process or data related) i.e. seed to sale bio- tracking to determine gaps in compliance specific to cultivation and determine opportunities for remediation and advise the organization on all cultivation compliance related matters
- Ensure all facilities operate with the same policies and procedures and in full compliance with local, state and federal laws/regulations, including the development and implementation of compliance training for staff across all locations, to ensure adherence across all facilities while promoting legal and ethical conduct
- Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, and industry related news or events for all relevant subject matter and complete gap analyses to determine impact, if any, on production processes and procedures and recommend changes as needed
- Develop policies and programs to encourage all employees to report any improprieties without fear of retaliation
- Assist internal departments to develop appropriate strategies and policies for interacting with enforcement and regulatory bodies on a local, state, and federal level in the cultivation environment (including but not limited to audits, reviews, testing, etc.)
- Act as a partner with appropriate channels to evaluate concerns within the organization and ensure appropriate investigations and resolutions.
- Establish and facilitate regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability, and develop and delegate corrective action plans to resolve accordingly, in addition to providing guidance to mitigate and prevent future risks

VP of Operations Requirements:
MBA preferred, Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Management, Finance or other closely related discipline) required
Proven experience as VP of Operations
Minimum of 5 years in operations management
3+ years’ experience in an operations leadership position
No background in cannabis production necessary, background in production of luxury foods desired
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
Superior interpersonal skills and an eye for careful, supportive conflict resolution
Expertise in budget management

Superior skill with Excel/Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and
Google Drive
Team player and ability to work well with a diverse group of people
Tech savvy
Finance/Accounting experience
Ability to create and present production and departmental financial reports to CEO, COO and board of directors
Inventory control expertise
