Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate and maintain department systems and tools, including the ERP system
- Coordinate and manage the annual external review or audit
- Develop, update, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Requirements
- 4-6 years' related experience, including people management
- Bachelors degree or higher in a related field
- CPA/CMA preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Control or Microsoft ERP Suite experience, preferred
- High degree of attention to accuracy and timely output
- Inventory experience

Ideal Candidate: Professional with public accounting experience (larger firms only). Accounting and tax background is ideal. SEC experience preferred…either through direct employment at a smaller SEC company or from client base in public accounting. Manufacturing and retail experience is preferred. Business acumen and presence is important.
Description: The client is in the cannabis business, primarily just growing facilities (MI & CA) now, but looking to acquire dispensaries soon. There are multiple entities with Controllers at various locations. Currently using different ERP systems among locations. The new CFO would have overall financial responsibility for one side of the business.
Cannabis experience would be nice, but not required. Candidate should be comfortable with working in the Cannabis space.
