Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With direction from the SPM and/or DOP, the PM Processing Manager is responsible for supporting and executing all phases of processing beginning at plant harvest. A. Management

G. Expense Control
- Responsible for controlling merchandise shortage and other by-line selling expenses over which the dispensary has control.
- Responsible for controlling labor costs through appropriate scheduling practices while balancing Patient care needs. Works with the management team and Director of Operations to develop methodologies to help predict labor hour needs based on customer demand arising from a variety of factors.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Cultivation Manager will support the facility in all things related to the cultivation operations. Including, but not limited to, cultivation scheduling, planning, staffing, storage & transport. The Cultivation Manager will also help facilitate cross-functional department communications, including compliance, quality, community relations, engineering & maintenance, and purchasing.
- Assist with Cultivation labor planning and Cultivation scheduling to drive achievement of production targets and quality standards
- Track all Cultivation Metrics/KPI’s (G/sqft, testing data, environmental parameters from crop cycles)
- Identify, investigate, correct, and document potential environmental and safety problems Maintain product quality while ensuring compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, and safety
- Lead problem resolution to identify quality/productivity-related problems, recommend measures for improvement, and lead and participate in quality/productivity improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment that adheres to all company policies, procedures, and Ohio regulations.
- In collaboration with HR, ensure compliance with timecard reporting, performance management, and employee relations.
- Lead meetings with the management team to discuss supply/demand, new projects, and upcoming changes to operations and potential construction projects
- Effective communication and constructive cooperation between multiple locations and all levels of employees
- Oversee proper and adequate storage of all products
- Ensure all product leaving the facility is compliant with the State of Massachusetts.

The Cultivation Packaging Manager is responsible for leading a team of packaging technicians to ensure products are packaged in a timely, compliant and correct manner. This position will report to the Director of Cultivation who will assign daily tasks to the packaging teams. The Cultivation Packaging Manager will maintain all compliance and packaging records and will be responsible for other tasks that are assigned to them.

Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
Responsible for helping the Cultivation Team meet production demands and maintain quality expectations.- Maintain personal cleanliness and PPE throughout the cultivation process.
- Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed.
- Analyze and determine all standards for packaging lines and maintain the schedule for all packing orders effectively.
- Monitor and recommend improvements in processes to increase efficiency of packaging department
- Monitor inventory in warehouse and maintain records of all physical packaging components
- Manage all flow of product into and out of secure company vault
- Ensure compliance to DHSS requirements and coordinate with quality assurance department to ensure adherence to all manufacturing schedules.
- Maintain and ensure compliance to packaging schedule and assign specific tasks to all employees and monitor all packing equipment and supplies.
- Develop team environment in department and resolve all packing issues in coordination with quality department.
- Coordinate with Director of Compliance and evaluate all projects and recommend ways to reduce cost and improve quality of all processes and provide necessary training and counseling to employees as per requirement.
- Regularly instructs newer team members on Packaging SOPs
- Ensures all tools are in working order and clean to prevent the spread of potential diseases.
- Work with the Director of Cultivation to report and notify the COO and CEO of any plant health issues threatening the viability of the product.
- Maintains all required paperwork and records, ensuring any assigned data forms and logs are accurately filled out and completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor assigned team members attendance, break schedules and performance. Notifies Director of Cultivation of any employee related issue.
- Documents employee performance and works with Director of Cultivation to schedule and conduct regular one on one check in with team members.

The Cultivation Site Manager is a role that requires a hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Trulieve. What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assuring work tasks within their assigned Value Stream are executed per the Production Schedule and Standard Work with high degree of Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance
- Facilitate and then Coach Tier Huddles and drive our CC Lean Management System of Visual Controls (i.e., White Boards, Visual Standards, Signage, etc.)
- Lead Lean Kaizen events, Productivity Improvements, and Safety Committees
- Accountable for Safety, Quality and Productivity Improvements year over year
- Act as Subject Matter Expert with respect to Post-Harvest processes and Citizen Development.
In terms of Post-Harvest Production duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for overall throughput of Trim and Packaging departments
- Intaking and organizing untrimmed biomass from harvest team
- Assuring all cannabis products are free from contamination risk at all stages; from Intake to fulfillment
- Monitoring for quality control to ensure process and product quality in line with company standards
- Maintaining a 5S system, Visual Management and assure high standards of sanitation
- Motivate the Team and coach Citizens on proper Standard Work and execution of tasks per the Production Schedule
With respect to Lean Operations Captain related management, including but not limited to:
- Manage on time post-harvest labor activities: METRC, hand trimming, pre-rolling packaging and machine operating
- Assure Citizens complete all proper recording in our systems
- Motivate the Team and coach Citizens on proper Standard Work and execution of tasks per the Production Schedule
Team mentoring and coaching, including but not limited to:
- Collaboratively leading or creating and constantly Improving our standard work procedures towards the highest quality plant output
- Ensuring team compliance with both our Standard Work procedures and government rules & regulations
- Preparing and managing the team in tracking all activities and work performed in MERTC: including package creation and tracking, waste tracking, harvest Intake, and harvest batch tracking
- Lead and promote a collaborative, professional and courteous team atmosphere
- Working collectively and respectfully with the other Captains and Team Leads and act as Champion of Common Citizen’s company culture
- Manage logistics of the Team including, scheduling, task management and assignment, productivity tracking and workflow optimization, and inter-department communication
- Helping the cultivation team grow and develop our nominated "Model Citizens" through Lean Policy Promotion and required Lean skills with hands-on career discussions and planning

The Experience You Bring
- Four Year College Degree in Horticulture, Biology, Agriculture, or equivalent Cannabis Processing is preferred. Five Years’ management experience in agricultural, pharmaceutical or feed industry is acceptable in lieu of degree.
- Experience with cannabis track-and-trace software such as LeafLogix, MJ Freeway, or METRC is a plus.
- Efficient production work leadership with application of Lean Tools and Problem-Solving skills to root-cause correct daily cultivation/production issues.
- Knowledge of post-harvest diseases, mildew and mold, as well as remediation processes and options.
- Must be a Team Player who rives accountability, is proactive, with a strong attention to detail.

Job Description

The role of a Production Lead is to manage the 3rd shift production team while being a contributing team member themself. - Accurately package, re-package and/or label packaging in accordance with the work order or department manager or lead instructions.
- Accurately records processing and weights data on to appropriate spreadsheets and or enters into a track and trace program to ensure authentic information is readily available for upper management, compliance, or any regulatory agency.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies throughout the work shift to make certain departments clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Processing Manager will be responsible for making sure that their facility and department’s employees are compliant with local and state laws, as well as company policies and procedures. - Exercise authority and direction concerning operational issues and budget decisions; participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, department policies, and procedures

The Role:
The Shift Manager is first and foremost a model Patient Care Specialist, as well as, an extension of the managerial team on the floor. The Shift Manager is first and foremost a model Patient Care Specialist, as well as, an extension of the managerial team on the floor. Our ideal candidate is someone that is a natural leader and understands the critical importance of upholding a productive, compliant, and professional culture in all of our retail stores.
You are a core member of the Management team and expected to work hand-in-hand with the General, Store and/or Assistant Manager in developing a professional team of Patient Care Specialists as it relates to continued education and training on products, strains, and general cannabis knowledge, diligence with compliance as it applies to state and local rules and regulations and providing heavy lifting to make sure the operations of the store are efficient and streamlined.
As a Shift Manager, you are someone that sets a good example, delivers best-in-class service and product knowledge with your customers and patients, and strives to energize and inspire all members of the team while upholding the integrity of the company as a walking billboard for GTI and Essence's culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Provide best-in-class customer service to the patients and customers that is expected of all of our Patient Care Specialists
- Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge and strive to train and share that knowledge with other members of the team
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the GM or Store Manager
- Assist all Patient Care Specialists in the consultation of all patients and customers to ensure that the employee is empowered and informed on the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients
- Complete and appropriately delegate (if applicable) tasks assigned during scheduled shift including:
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the regulatory electronic verification systems
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Management of visitor log
- Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
- Reporting of team member issues or patient situations
- End of day daily update e-mails
- Opening and closing duties
- Ensuring accuracy with the vault
- Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including:
- Daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints
- Open and closing procedures
- Compliance and performance write-ups
- Lead in the on-boarding and training of new Patient Care Specialists in partnership with the Assistant, Store, or General Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Cannabis experience, preferred
- At least 1 year in a management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations
- Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail, strong communication and leadership skills, and be proactive
- Meets timelines consistently and be able to effectively work under pressure
- Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback
- High level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, often working cross functionally
- Inventory control experience
