Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With direction from the SPM and/or DOP, the PM Processing Manager is responsible for supporting and executing all phases of processing beginning at plant harvest. Key phases include harvest, drying, bucking, curing, trimming, marijuana-infused product (MIP) production and processing (some of these responsibilities may vary shift). The PM Processing Manager is responsible for leading, developing and coaching assigned Leads and respective team members to execute all assigned Processing tasks effectively and compliantly.
- Ensures the safe, accurate, compliant, and timely production of high-quality products.
- Ensures cleanliness and safety for an efficient production area.
- Ensures quality control measures to ensure high-quality products.
- Ensures daily compliance with company policies, SOPs, and all state regulations (including testing)
- Reviews and actively monitors the labor production schedule (by shift including assigned breaks); advising on any potential adjustments to the schedule to fit the overall needs of the department based on the assigned goals designated by the DOP.
- Manages daily meetings striving for quality interaction with assigned Leads and respective teams.
- Assists with the accurate and validated population of the final product sales sheet for each production cycle.
- Prepares inventory reports to ensure that our products are accurate and available to achieve our monthly and annual budget goals.

- Assists SPM and DOP with hiring and the onboarding of new employees; related duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for facilitating and tracking 30/60/90 day [probationary period] performance.
- Provides direct and timely constructive feedback to enable and encourage success.
- Tracks and reports employee attendance; notifies DOP and HR of any potential concerns.
- Ensures the timely introduction of all new hires to assigned Leads and technicians.
- Assists new hires with reporting scrub sizes to Purchasing and Procurement Associate on Day One
- Responsible for facilitating and tracking 30/60/90 day [probationary period] performance.
- Responsible for developing, training, and coaching assigned employees by shift, as well as assessing employee performance providing constructive, timely feedback and potential enhanced training opportunities.
- Quarterly completion of professional development training required [training assigned by Human Resources in collaboration with the SPM]. Additional training may be assigned as needed to support professional growth and development.
- Working with the SPM, executes the annual year end performance management process for all assigned Leads and technicians.
- Positively responds to assigned Lead and team questions, concerns, and suggestions; taking immediate action, as necessary to resolve any potential issues. Responsible for quickly reporting any unresolved issues to the SPM, DOP and Human Resources for ultimate resolution.
- Facilitates bi-weekly meetings with department Leads.

Duties and Responsibilities (Including the following, other duties may be assigned): The main responsibilities of the Cultivation Technician include all aspects of the daily care of plants from seed/clone to harvest; monitoring environmental factors to maximize production and prevent failures and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation inside the cultivation area.
Basic Cultivation Duties:
- Implementing daily feeding & care schedules as directed by the Cultivation Manager (CM), paying attention to any update or changes to the schedules.
- Maintaining consistency and urgency when pruning crops at various stages
- Maintaining consistency, uniformity and accuracy when repotting crops at various stages
- Routine visual inspection of plants to identify any pests/deficiencies and reporting findings to the CM
Administrative Duties:
- Maintains accurate records of Nutrient Mixes, equipment cleaning and calibration and any other crop related logs assigned by the CM.
- Promptly reports any movement of plants and/or plant I.D.'s to the Inventory department to ensure proper and accurate data logging and to maintain the accuracy of the inventory by location.
Facility and Equipment Maintenance Duties:
- Ensure that proper calibration, operation, cleaning and storage of p.H./E.c./PPM meters are maintained.
- Ensure the proper usage, maintenance and storage of all tools and equipment, including but not limited to: shop vacuums, pumps, hoses, carts, Fiskars, scissors, loppers, stools, gloves, rags, and goggles.
- Clean and sanitize containers and vessels to ensure that they are sufficiently prepared for repotting
- Complete daily and periodic cleaning tasks as assigned. Daily cleaning consists of: sweeping and spot mopping all areas on the cultivation floor, sanitizing surfaces and equipment, reorganizing stock and inventory.
- Properly dispose of any and all waste at the end of each day
Additionally: Assist in the completion of secondary cultivation tasks at the direction of the CM according to company needs. - Records and tracks accurate weights and measurements of medicine throughout the processing and packaging procedures using company systems and protocols
- Maintains a clean, safe environment inside the processing area
- Inspects medicine for defects using a variety of magnification tools
- Calibrates, operates, cleans, and stress packaging equipment including heat sealers, etc. according to Company policy and as directed by the Processing Manager
- Maintains quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product
- Ensures compliance with State regulations and testing requirements
- Prepares inventory reports to ensure products are available, on point and in demand
- Maintains inventory of supplies, materials, equipment, including material safety data sheets for all chemicals and products
- Ensures accurate weighing and inventory
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of cannabis medical products (distillate, oils, tinctures, topicals, concentrates, edibles etc.)
- Receive, unpack, and deliver goods/supplies; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves etc.
- Review the processing schedule and forecasts for key dates, quantities, strains, etc.
- Advise on the effects of management decisions relating to processing, strain selection, and processes
Basic Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree in biology or chemistry, preferred.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in horticulture, botany, or related field, preferred.
- Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges
Additional Qualifications:
Required Knowledge
- Knowledge of basic computer and office equipment operations (inventory systems; Word; Excel; Office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
- Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements

- Close visual focus required
- This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
