This part time position assists the Cultivation Director in day to day operations to ensure all plants and grow rooms receive the care they need. Candidates should be professional, career-minded, punctual, reliable, positive, hard working, and have a passion for horticulture.
This position is hands-on and requires an individual who enjoys and is accustomed to manual, agricultural labor-intensive jobs. This individual is responsible for performing routine tasks related to agricultural production.
General Cultivation Functions:
- Implements cultivation techniques and methodologies at various stages of plant growth and development, as directed by the Cultivation Director
- Assisting with day to day plant tasks as needed such as fertilization, pruning, propagating, harvesting.
- Intensive cleaning/sterilizing of equipment and general cultivation areas.
- Assisting with trimming and packaging duties as needed.
- Following policies and procedures related to clean and safe production of finished goods and compliance to CCC regulations.
Fertigation Functions:
- Execute all daily irrigation events via automated Dosatron System and hand watering.
- Record all input/output data from irrigation events in appropriate databases
- Maintain the irrigation system according to cleaning and calibration SOPs.
- Oversee storage, labeling, and usage of all fertilizer products within cultivation.
- Regular meetings with the Director of Cultivation to assess the weekly plan and strategies for fertigation.

The Dispensary Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within the retail facility and ensures all customers receive a premium retail experience. The Dispensary Manager should be a detail oriented leader with a passion for curating a premium retail environment and brand. This position oversees a team of retail associates, assistant managers, and assistant managers in training to ensure total compliance with internal SOPs and state regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Enhance Brand Awareness in the community as well as in the market
- Maintain the highest level of presentation and elevated customer experience
- Hire and manage a team of customer oriented dispensary employees with retention in mind
- Maintain, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure regulatory compliance, safety best practices, and operational success
- Regularly coordinate with external vendors to troubleshoot and/or perform maintenance and repairs on security equipment throughout the facility

This is a full time, hourly position. This role will be accountable for conducting production tasks in a safe, efficient manner to ensure the production schedule stays on track.

The Production Shift Manager oversees the department during their shift and reports to the Production Manager.
Essential Functions
- Accurately maintain daily work traceability paperwork & digital logs
- Initiate and oversee work tasks and goals as defined in the production schedule
- Starting & completing paperwork
- Ensuring to record all weights, counts, times, etc.
- Filling out digital logs and spreadsheets
- Conversions of MIPs, flower, and prerolls
- Initiate and oversee work tasks as defined by the Production Manager
- Ensure team is performing well and in a positive work environment
- Ensure all team members are up to date with SOP and other training
- Trained on all all tasks done in production including MIP production
- Scheduling and being involved in reviews
- Coordinate team staffing issues with Production Manager
- Maintain an organized and sterile work environment
- Understand and strictly adhere to policies and procedures

Summary/Objective
Central Ave Compassionate Care is a Registered Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Ayer Massachusetts. Our mission is to provide safe, quality marijuana for medical use to qualified patients in a safe and secure atmosphere that provides for patient, employee and public safety. We are currently seeking a Dispensary Manager.
*The Dispensary Manager works to ensure smooth operations within the dispensary. The Dispensary Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Team.
Essential Functions
- Maintain the highest level of presentation and patient service
- Ensure strict inventory controls during opening, dispensing, and closing procedures. Troubleshoot issues as needed

The Cultivation Technician provides the daily care and focused attention necessary to produce clean, potent, safe medical cannabis for our patients.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment inside the cultivation and surrounding areas

- Responsible for the daily care of crop cultural practices from seed to clone to harvest
- Review and comply with all procedures and instruction checklists
- Maintain accurate record of cultural practices, data collection, other crop-related logs as assigned by the Cultivation Manager and Supervisor
- Learn and cross train across all cultural practices throughout each growth phase
- Implement daily feeding and care schedule as directed by Cultivation Manager and Supervisor

Every day you will:
Own responsibility for the Vendor Management (Exclusive & Distributed Brands across multiple categories) function within the Hawthorne portfolio.

Optimization of existing portfolio assortment with focus on identifying gaps and redundancies to align on a streamlined metric-based productive sku assortment.
Collaborated with Procurement function on responsibilities including Contract development/management, inventory & supply metrics, payment terms, etc.
Managed stocking and vendor inventory planning alongside Purchasing during monthly S&OP meetings, including seasonal changes, stockouts, runouts, etc.
10+ years of experience in vendor management, retail merchandiser / buyer roles, sales, business/brand management, and/or category management.

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assist with several studies funded by the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program. In general, research projects at SOMA include: (1) identifying, quantifying, and describing promotional practices of companies across various industries and determining how such practices affect offline health-related behaviors; (2) examining user experiences with popular new tobacco products to understand their appeal, and the social and environmental characteristics surrounding their use; (3) identifying the extent of unsubstantiated health claims (or misinformation) pertaining to substances like nicotine, cannabis, and products like electronic cigarettes.
Overall, a successful candidate must have completed a Ph.D. in a social science setting, have excellent organizational skills, work well as a member of a research team, be able to work independently, and have good interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will be expected to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment under the mentorship of the SOMA Lab director.
