JOB SUMMARY
The Temporary Provisioning Center General Manager is responsible for overall management of the provisioning center, staff, merchandise, and customer service. We are looking to add a Provisioning Center Retail Manager to our team. This individual should have significant cannabis industry experience and will consult with the District Retail Manager. This individual will be in charge of managing the employees as well as making sure the store runs smoothly on a day to day basis. This includes if there are any problems with patients, products or employees. The manager is in charge of handling all issues in a calm and respectful manner. This individual should have extensive retail management experience. MUST be able to work 55 hours a week (5 days open to close) AND have extensive cannabis knowledge.
Duties:
- Make sure employees stay busy and productive during their shifts.
- Make sure products are ordered to keep up inventory levels.
- Input daily sales in system and keep track of all money incoming and outgoing from the store.
- Build a relationship with vendors for easy communication as well as set up events with them, such as vendor days.
- Make sure employees are following all compliance and safety regulations.
- Input new orders and products in system.
- Requesting media content for vendor days, social media, menus or promos.
- Schedule employees accordingly to fill shifts.
- Ensure that employee timecards are accurate and report weekly hours for payroll.
- Ensure the correct handling of all returns/exchanges or any voids to ensure they are done correctly.
- Make sure the assistant manager is completing daily duties and keeping employees busy.
- Check LARA for any new bulletins or changes to any of the rules so you are always staying compliant.
- Do cash drops and make sure change is stocked in the cash drawers.
- Handle any upset patients or problems with any patient orders or returns. Make sure any upset patients leave happy and satisfied with the outcome from their situation.
- Ensure an effective and productive working environment with all employees.

Administrative Operations:

SUMMARY

PROVISIONING CENTER GENERAL MANAGER

We are looking to add a Provisioning Center Manager to our team. This individual should have significant cannabis industry experience and will consult with the Provisioning Center General Manager. Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Budtender/Patient Support:
- Recruit and hire great team members
- Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking
- Coach team members and provide positive and constructive feedback so that they grow professionally.
- Train all team members on work procedures, product menu and company policies so that everyone understands what's required to do a great job.
- Maintain written SOPs as changes to policy and/or regulations occur and ensure compliance among team
- Assist in building a weekly staff schedule that complies with labor policies
- Be accessible and extremely responsive to all team member's questions, suggestions, and concerns and help resolve any team member conflicts
Sales and Customer Service:
- Respond to all customer feedback and resolve customer/patient complaints to ensure satisfaction of all customers and patients
- Utilize customer and team member feedback to readily implement changes to improve the customer experience
- Execute dispensary selling strategies through collaboration with marketing related to incentives, displays, internal and external promotion
- Recommend future promotions and ways to increase sales by understanding the success of previous incentives and promotions
- Analyze sales reports and communicate with the team to identify sales trends and potential inventory requirements
- Track all employee and store sales daily to ensure optimal performance
- Analyze core metrics to better understand store performance in order to beat and exceed goals
- Utilize approved employee incentives to drive sales and boost morale
Daily Store Operations:
- Maintain store compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
- Produce all required reporting, paperwork, and state tracking system recording (ATM receipts, if applicable), Receptionist management (patient data), (METRC & Sales)
- Assist State and Local Government Auditors and Law Enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits
- Perform all daily opening and closing procedures
- Implement and oversee security, reporting and cash management procedures related to opening and closing the store
- Be responsible for facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary including proper upkeep of the phone, utilities, technology, maintenance, repairs, stock, and supplies.
- Ensure that the sales floor is appropriately stocked at all times
- Keep track of all expiring products and promote sales as needed
- Coordinate with SM and senior leadership to perform weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/yearly inventory audits and reconciliations
- Ensure all expired/damaged/returned product is logged and disposed of according to regulations
- Assist in receiving and ensuring that all wholesale deliveries are compliant and accurate compared to invoices, etc.
- Provide daily correspondence via email and manager’s log, with the Assistant Manager and appropriate team members as needed
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of medical and/or retail cannabis industry.
- Working knowledge of Flowhub POS system or other cannabis industry POS system a plus
- Reporting and Information Management: must have proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with process management, team problem solving, and inventory control.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3-4+ years of management experience in retail.
- Minimum 1 year of Dispensary Management experience or equivalent.
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
- Must be 21 years or older.

- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

General Manager – Dispensary Operations
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures compliance with all MI marijuana rules and regulations governing the act for both medical and adult use purposes, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education.
- Provides management and leadership for day to day operations including the operation of sales terminals and transactions
