Front Desk Associates serve as the first point of contact for customers entering the retail space or calling on the phone. As the first face to greet our customers, the Front Desk Associates create intentional customer experiences by being enthusiastic, personable, and welcoming. They guide the customers through their check-in process, verify their age and identity, and answer any questions either in person or via phone.
Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and facilitate a seamless check-in process
- Exceed customer’s expectations by delivering exceptional service
- Verify customer age and identification card status
- Explain the facility's procedures and policies to customers
- Manage the flow of the lobby and customer queue to ensure all customers are helped in a timely manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and provide general information regarding visiting the store, purchasing product, and location/store hours
- Manages the visitor’s log
- Maintain supply level, organization and overall cleanliness of the reception desk, lobby and retail space
- Ensure compliance by adhering to company policies and best practices
- Complete downtime duties such as cleaning, organizing, and special projects
- Operate with integrity and honesty
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of all customers and staff
- Assist in other departments within the facility
- Work as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment
- Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Education, Training, and Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with METRC, TREEZ, or other cannabis related software a plus
- Must complete all trainings provided by management
Skills and Experience
- 1 year of receptionist, administrative, retail, customer service, and/or hospitality experience
- Proficient with computers and technology, including Microsoft 365 programming and POS systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Significant attention to detail
- Considerable organizational skills
- Fundamental operational skills in fast-paced and customer service environments
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Capable of multitasking during high traffic times
Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

The Security Guard’s primary duty is the protect the assets on the premises, including the employees, customers, and products, while remaining personable and ensuring a positive customer experience. They will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. Security guards will monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, review camera footage, ensure no unauthorized persons gain entrance, and watch for theft or armed burglary.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of all customers and staff
- Secure premises and personnel by watching over the activity within the facility, perform perimeter checks, and patrol the parking lot
- Monitor and provide routine checkups on video surveillance, access control, and alarm equipment
- Keep an eye on customer traffic flow
- Assist and deescalate any security concerns.
- Oversee daily inventory counts
- Investigate discrepancies in inventory in order to locate missing items or product overages
- Monitor the transfer of products during a delivery
- Assist the Manager on Duty with proper destruction of waste products
- Maintain the sensibility to detect, assess, and project security risks, creating solutions to best protect the company.
- Operate under security protocols and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal agencies
- Submit reporting and security observations accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance by adhering to company policies and best practices
- Operate with integrity and honesty
- Work as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment
- Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities

Requirements
Education, Training, and Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must complete all trainings provided by management
- Security Guard License and/or Firearms Permit
Skills and Experience
- Trained security officer with licensing preferred
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and experience with deescalation
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public to facilitate problem-solving of stressful situations with calm and open judgment
- Ability to identify potential problems, analyze issues, and propose solutions
- Knowledge of safety, health and security protocols
- Knowledge of guest intake and ID verification procedures and protocols
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including oversight of the departments within, such as customer service, inventory, sales, and security. The GM also has store-level responsibility for accounting, compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting.

Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated passion to serve the medical and recreational cannabis community
- Advanced knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products
- Cannabis industry experience desired, but not required
- Experience with managing a retail facility a must
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong operational skills in fast-paced and customer service environments
- Knowledge of effective inventory management
- Working knowledge of business processes and system development
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data
- Proficiency with computers and technology, including Microsoft 365 programs and cannabis specific POS systems
- Knowledge of cannabis marketing technology a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Capable of multitasking during high traffic times
