MAIN JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets clients in person or on the phone; schedules appointments; oversees patient intake and renewal procedures

About the role:
The General Manager oversees the daily operations of the production facility responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations. The GM must posses strong leadership and decision-making abilities to accomplish company objectives and goals. They are expected to lead and manage the following departments Facility Compliance and Safety, Agronomy, Lab Processing, Kitchen Manufacturing, Facility Maintenance, Warehousing, Order Processing, Distribution, and Security.Duties/Responsibilities: · Responsible for meeting corporate expectations and goals in terms of profit targets, capital expenditures, cost containment, manufacturing/plant engineering improvements.
· Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and efficiency through analysis and collaboration.
· Generate and review ongoing Standard Operating Procedures.
· Contribute and support various needs for compliance, licensure, and renewals.
· Motivate employees to meet production goals.Physical Requirements:· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Title:
General Manager – Dispensary Operations
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures compliance with all MI marijuana rules and regulations governing the act for both medical and adult use purposes, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education.
- Provides management and leadership for day to day operations including the operation of sales terminals and transactions
- Manages all record retention requirements (patient records and logs, sales receipts, storage and auditing of all inventory) according to state regulations and company standards
- Responsible for coordinating/ordering new inventory and supplies and maintains accurate records.
- Development and enforcement of the Dispensary privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance.
- Directs and monitors floor managers/supervisors to accomplish goals established monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Consistently adheres to and reinforces operating plan approved by state regulators to ensure ongoing operational licenses maintained and protected
- Assisting with implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of storage, delivery, transportation, and distribution.
- Create a diverse and inclusive work culture that ensures team buy-in and positive reinforcement.
- Adhere and collect all HR documentation for new hires and assisting with maintaining ongoing administrative needs
- Staff development and ongoing maintenance of job descriptions for all positions that are kept accurate and updated
- Create organizational development and maintain employee training programs.
- Conduct performance reviews to regularly for ongoing employee performance management
- Recruit, retain top tier talent and help develop workforce planning and staffing forecasts to meet demand
- Maintain cleanly and inviting facilities that stimulate workplace culture and welcome our clients
- Effectively communicate across all channels, with flexibility and adaptability being most critical
- Ensure employee safety, wellness, and health & welfare.
Education and Experience:
- College degree required, MBA/graduate preferred
- 5+ years of management experience(minimum)
- 7+ years in customer service/fast pace retail environments
- MI Cannabis industry knowledge experience preferred (not required)
- Entrepreneurial spirit with attention to detail
- Demonstrates ability and experience managing high-volume, scaling industries
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and execution skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Developed leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team members
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Strong computer skills (MS office preferred)
Physical Requirements:
