The Production Technician will assist in maintaining quality control measures to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks including prepping, packaging and labeling in accordance with standards set by Curaleaf.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production Technicians are to receive all the flower from cultivation, check and verify the weight of the material, receive and enter into the system with my supervision, create and save the new manifest of the product receive.
- Control the whole inventory inside the freezer and organize the product by number, keep record of the temperature in the freezer.
- Separate all the waste material to be destroyed.
- Complete the grinding schedule every week and maintain the grinding machine (Hight tech shedder) in a good condition.
- Based on the schedule left the ground material ready for extraction, prepare the TGR and submit the samples to the analytical lab for testing. (potency, moisture content).
- Maintain the extraction area clean and help the operators during the changeover in order to reduce the down time.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.
- At least one year of manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Summary:
This position will be required to safely operate, maintain, and clean high production, sophisticated and automated cannabis pre-roll (cigarette) manufacturing and packaging equipment.
This position must facilitate production of pre-rolls that meet/exceed requirements in regulatory compliance, health and safety, environmental standards, brand standards, and customer experience.
Day to day:

Some examples of day-to-day work include:
- Setting up production machines and ancillary equipment to optimal specifications
- Operating production machines at high efficiency to deliver finished products of good quality, low reject and in line with agreed production targets and specifications.
- Performing troubleshooting and basic maintenance on production machines and ancillary equipment.
- Assisting in planned maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance on the production machines and ancillary equipment.
- Assisting in carrying out modifications to improve on the production machines’ performance where necessary.
- Closely monitoring the performance of production machines as well as providing input on all factory equipment requirements.
- Training and development of subordinates within the section.

- On a scheduled, rotational, or fill in basis, support the operations of the fermentation department. Operate processes in tank room and centrifuges, maintain batch paperwork and cleaning records.
- Operate pelletizing equipment and room including startup, freezing collection, and cleaning. Operate freeze dryers. Load, unload, clean and autoclave pans.
- Operate production tank batch up process for tank preparation and inoculation. Maintenance of “First In – First Out” practices and provide inventory advice.
- Maintain all GMP/GDP paperwork as duties are performed. Manage material lot codes accurately and legibly. Appropriately document parameters relevant to all processes.

What You Will Do
Complete packaging, labeling, and carton of products to include label accuracy, package seal integrity, and counts per package and carton (occasional manual packaging and re-packaging of product).
Start-up, operate and shutdown basic technology manual, semi-automatic and automatic assembly/production machines and processes.
Perform quality inspections in accordance to Panduit’s quality systems and procedures and complete all data entry functions.
Safety in accordance to Panduit’s safety guidelines and procedures.
Waste elimination by preforming daily 5S activities.

Production Operator
We are currently seeking a Production Operator for one of our local locations in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN AMARGOSA VALLEY NEVADA.The Production Operator (Extraction Lead, Lab Technician, Extraction Technician) will work within the Bio Processing (Extraction) Laboratory Department and report to the Director of Production with a dotted line to the Director of Operations.
A Production Operator is responsible for the extraction and refinement of cannabinoids from the biomass cultivated at the Amargosa Valley Farm. The Production Operator shall report to the Lead Extractor and is responsible for all tasks related to the purification(refinement) of extracted cannabinoids. These tasks include but are not limited to: Prepping Extractions, Winterization, Running Instruments, Preventative Maintenance, Calibration, Tracking, Maintaining Documentation, Data Collection, Packaging, Labeling, Inventory and Cleaning, in accordance with the state of Nevada and standards set by Curaleaf. It is expected that you will learn and be able to perform all tasks within the production laboratory area. This role is responsible for but not limited to utilizing subcritical and supercritical CO2 extraction methods as well as the purification, separation and isolation of various compounds of cannabis. The Production Operator will also be responsible for maintaining the compliant inventory of the purified base material for infused edibles and vape products.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication and collaboration
- Operating highly sophisticated extraction equipment; Processing concentrates and extracts
- Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed Curaleaf's specifications and expectations
- Ensures 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking and security throughout all processes
- Consistently operates in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, Nevada specific SOP's, CL SOP's, and all applicable required procedures
- Responsible for ensuring each product is properly labeled in compliance with Nevada State Regulations
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and laboratory facility following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures; complying with legal regulations; monitoring environment
- Responsible for the preparation of material to be processed in accordance with daily tasks
- Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing
- Performs all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility

U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Companys role is to responsibly manufacture and market USSTC smokeless brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way. We are currently seeking highly qualified Associate Production Operators to join our plant based in Hopkinsville, KY or Clarksville, TN.
You will be supporting high speed production operations, as well as ongoing efforts to embrace high performance work systems.
What will you be doing?
You are responsible for operating and maintaining specific equipment throughout the facility, including sanitation and housekeeping of production lines and equipment and maintaining the facility in accordance with company policies and procedures and/or production requirements.
You are able to easily move about an industrial facility, including but not limited to, working in tight or confined spaces, working at higher elevations, climbing on machinery, working in a dusty environment; majority of shift will be spent cleaning in plant (walking, stooping, bending, climbing, operating lift equipment, forklift, clamp machine, etc.).
You should be able to perform some lifting (usually not over 40 pounds).
You will need to handle pressure associated with the need to maintain a facility which is dusty by nature in compliance with CC&S standards.
You have the ability to understand and carry out verbal instructions.
You can operate electric lift equipment, forklift and pallet truck.
Previous manufacturing/factory experience is helpful.
