We are currently seeking an Intake Specialist to join our team in Jackson, Michigan! The Intake Specialist is responsible for the initial processing of all samples collected by the laboratory. A successful employee will excel in this position by being able to work independently, have exceptional attention to detail skills, and expert customer/client service skills. In addition to sample accessions, this employee will also act as an office administrator for the laboratory which will involve invoicing (AR/AP) of all client transactions and occasional reception of the front desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Without error, creates client orders and photographs samples to enter data into internal and state databases (METRC).

Job Description: Our Intake specialistis an employee who enters all samples into the LIMS and ensures sample check-in is properly completed in a timely manner. The goal is to provide accurate intake of all R&D samples and Compliance batches, working independently as well as communicating with other departments as needed. Essential Functions

- Without error, label samples, put QA samples into R&D sample intake sheets, as well as testing tabs. Without errors, place order on Confident and take picture of sample. Provide sample to wet lab upon completion.

- Properly intake Compliance samples. Check for errors made by client, account representative, account manager, and/or sample technician. Address errors and make necessary changes. Properly label compliance samples. Intake into sheets, testing tabs, and Confident Cannabis.

Our Wholesale Intake Specialist staff play a critical role in Kaleafa’s operations. They are essential in keeping company stores’ inventory stocked with a diverse selection of products. Before any product becomes available to the customer, Wholesale Intake Specialists receive the product, creates labels, and prepares the product for dispatch to a retail location. Wholesale Intake Specialists are METRC ninjas and process large amounts of products everyday. Wholesale support associates must be attentive to detail and proficient computer users. The ideal candidate should be a team player, organized, focused and display integrity in all aspects of employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with all OLCC guidelines.
- Process products in a timely and organized fashion.
- Create accurate labels for product and display jars using computer software.
- Ensure each product is weighed, counted and labeled according to inventory tracking systems.
- Intake and organize products on digital and physical inventories.
- Transfer product through inventory tracking systems.
- Assist in correcting inaccuracies in inventory tracking systems.
- Work with others to keep all areas clean, organized, and compliant to ensure an effective, efficient and safe workflow.
