Position Overview
We are looking for a Grant Specialist Trainee to work at the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority in the Federal and State Grants Unit (FSGU). FSGU offers a rich environment for a self-driven person desiring to enhance community-based programming and strengthen relationships with partner agencies. Grant Specialist Trainee responsibilities include monitoring grantee performance, budgets, ensuring compliance with grant regulations, and site visits. The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, exceptional time management skills, and experience working in grant programs and/or with public funds. The Grant Specialist Trainee will maintain relationships with grantees, and will aid in serving the public by ensuring grantee success in effective and growing programs.
Job Responsibilities
Under immediate supervision, for a period of six to twelve months,
1. Receives on the job training in reviewing and analyzing proposals and budgets to determine qualifications and compliance with program and budget requirements;
2. Completes assignments of increasing difficulty involving the review and analysis of quarterly and close-out program and fiscal reports;
3. Reviews allocation requests and receives guidance and mentoring from Grant Team members;
4. Reviews and analyzes a sample number of quarterly subcontract programs and fiscal reports submitted by grantees;
5. Utilizes computer software and equipment to conduct research;
6. Attends workshops, meetings and on-site visits to become familiar with Agency programs, philosophies and objectives.
7. Completes a variety of support functions.
8. Assists in tracking grantee program performance, enters tracking data into the grant monitoring system
9. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with coursework in law, criminal justice, government, public administration, sociology, accounting or political science or related field.
Two to five years of previous professional work experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefers two years of experience working with grant programs that deliver social service programming;
Prefers three years of experience demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
Prefers three year of experience demonstrating the ability to analyze complex information, identify problems, and propose creative and effective solutions;
Prefers one year of experience with program performance tracking and reporting;
Prefers one year of experience with budget preparation and analysis;
Prefers one year of experience with expenditure tracking and reporting;

Ascend is looking for an experienced Field Marketing Director to support buildout of national marketing plans and then drive execution at the regional/ local level across 5 states and growing, as well as through our dispensaries. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Direct and plan the overall marketing strategy for Ascends national retail business which includes, but is not limited to:
- Marketing Activities, 360-degree and as relevant
- New Store Openings
- Activation of our in-house consumer product brands (Ozone & Simply Herb) and partner brands
- Loyalty programs
- Promotions
- Localized communication and messaging

- Deliver KPIs for retail and brand marketing across markets
- Work closely and in collaboration with our sales teams
- Act as a conduit between corporate marketing roles and sales representatives
- Drive decision making based on reporting, analytics, customer insight and retail performance, as well as analyzing cost and effectiveness of initiatives
- Curate an omni-channel strategy which yields ROI
- Build relationships with partners, vendors and entities to deliver sophisticated campaigns, ads and promotional activities
- Own and propose local marketing budgets
- Analyze and predict consumer/patient buying behaviors
- Work cross-functionally with sales, brand marketing, finance, and operations
- Establish and maintain expert knowledge of the latest innovations and opportunities to impact the marketing landscape

Sales Account Managers are masters at planning and executing a sales strategy, building strong long lasting partnerships, maintaining acceptable AR levels, and driving growth within their assigned market.
As a SAM, you will focus on obtaining new partner accounts and expanding relationships with existing partners using the Sales Playbook and resources. Wyld Account Managers oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including pricing negotiations, marketing/merchandising initiatives, AR collections, in-store promotions, event scheduling, educating budtenders and end-consumers, and order fulfillment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
- Drive Sales & Market Share growth
- Create and execute quarterly market plans
- 75% of your time will be managing your current account base
- Analyzing sales trends and store inventory to consult the purchasing team on when and how much product to purchase to ensure zero stock-outs.
- Creatively influencing purchasing teams and store advocates to on-board new and additional SKUâs
- Strategically assessing stores promotional needs and implementing promotions based off of the best ROI
- Scheduling events and customer appreciation demos to educate end-consumers and budtenders.
- Scheduling budtender educations to capture advocates and help influence sales
- Review online marketing assets and assure the newest and highest quality image is being displayed.
- Influencing in-store merchandising and marketing opportunities to position ourselves as a premier partner.
- Assuring the latest media kit is being shared with the correct people
- Business Development 25% of your time will be spent hunting for new business and closing doors

- Negotiate pricing and terms
- Accounts Receivable Properly communicating to assigned accounts any invoices coming due, past due, setting collection dates, and aligning with the Director of Sales on any collection escalation
- Add detailed notes on a weekly cadence with an action plan on overdues, credits, or any write offs needed
- Ensure Credit Memos are successfully processed in a timely manner
- Weekly and daily administrative tasks
- Responsible for everything directly and indirectly related to sales
- Create a weekly route based on meetings scheduled/sample drops/actionable items
- Utilizing a market plan template to strategically plan sales driving initiatives on a quarterly basis, maintaining a pipeline in real-time, and updating Salesforce daily.

We are looking for a Grant Specialist Trainee to work at the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority in the Federal and State Grants Unit (FSGU). Job Responsibilities

3. Reviews allocation requests and receives guidance and mentoring from Grant Team members;

Minimum Qualifications

Summary
The
IT Support Specialist will help us maintain the company's networks, email, desktops, and telecommunications systems across the company. Sales Account Managers are masters at planning and executing a sales strategy, building strong long lasting partnerships, maintaining acceptable AR levels, and driving growth within their assigned market.
As a SAM, you will focus on obtaining new partner accounts and expanding relationships with existing partners using the Sales Playbook and resources. Wyld Account Managers oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including pricing negotiations, marketing/merchandising initiatives, AR collections, in-store promotions, event scheduling, educating budtenders and end-consumers, and order fulfillment. People who are able to influence change, make a difference, and effectively communicate to all walks of life will excel in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
- Drive Sales & Market Share growth
- Create and execute quarterly market plans
- 75% of your time will be managing your current account base
- Analyzing sales trends and store inventory to consult the purchasing team on when and how much product to purchase to ensure zero stock-outs.
- Creatively influencing purchasing teams and store advocates to on-board new and additional SKUâs
- Strategically assessing stores promotional needs and implementing promotions based off of the best ROI
- Scheduling events and customer appreciation demos to educate end-consumers and budtenders.
- Scheduling budtender educations to capture advocates and help influence sales
- Review online marketing assets and assure the newest and highest quality image is being displayed.
- Influencing in-store merchandising and marketing opportunities to position ourselves as a premier partner.
- Assuring the latest media kit is being shared with the correct people
- Business Development 25% of your time will be spent hunting for new business and closing doors
- Prioritizing your pipeline meeting saturation targets
- Creatively solve problems and overcome objections
- Intimately understand the licenses within your territory with the goal to be on the shelf before the store opens for business.
- Power mapping the prospect to assure all decision makers and stakeholders are being influenced to become a retail partner.
- Negotiate pricing and terms
- Accounts Receivable Properly communicating to assigned accounts any invoices coming due, past due, setting collection dates, and aligning with the Director of Sales on any collection escalation
- Add detailed notes on a weekly cadence with an action plan on overdues, credits, or any write offs needed
- Ensure Credit Memos are successfully processed in a timely manner
- Weekly and daily administrative tasks
- Responsible for everything directly and indirectly related to sales
- Create a weekly route based on meetings scheduled/sample drops/actionable items
- Utilizing a market plan template to strategically plan sales driving initiatives on a quarterly basis, maintaining a pipeline in real-time, and updating Salesforce daily.
- Prompt responses to clients.
- Confirming orders and deliveries 48 hours in advance
- Responding to internal slack messages and external emails with a sense of urgency
- Checks on competitive activity and reports intelligence in a timely manner.
- Keeps informed of competitor products, services and other general information of internal interest
- Working with multiple departments; finance, inventory, and distribution on a daily basis ensuring proper planning and execution
- Providing internal feedback about marketing assets, competitors, and innovation to the WYLD team
- This position requires up to 80% travel within the defined territory

Qualifications

Position Overview

Job Responsibilities
- Performs review of Medical Cannabis applications and renewals received for required information under the guidelines of the Medical Cannabis Program.
- Provides data management in support of the statewide Medical Cannabis Registry by entering patient information into the Medical Cannabis Registry database to further process applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the entered information from application submissions.
- Responds to daily inquiries regarding program policies from certifying physicians, patients and designated caregivers.
- Distributes educational information, which contains explanations of program policies and rules, to interested parties.
- Maintains registry information for all qualifying patients and caregivers.
- Maintains both the document files and the electronic registry file for each qualifying patient applicant to the Medical Cannabis Registry Program.

Responsibilities:
- Sales capacity Serve as ambassador for Ieso brand and products
- Participate in weekly sales calls
- Develop partnerships with new and existing Illinois licensed dispensaries

- Manage day to day and big picture sales growth according to Ieso strategy

Job Requirements:

POSITION SUMMARY
The Cannabis Policy Resource Center (CPRC) Program Administrator will be responsible for coordinating the Cannabis Policy Resource Center activities throughout the state of Illinois. This position will develop and deliver training, provide technical assistance, engage stakeholders, and promote the services of the CPRC.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Oversees a wide variety of activities to facilitate the effectiveness of the Cannabis Policy Resource Center throughout the state; provides general guidance and supervision to consultants; monitors activities of consultants to ensure proper use of resources
- Develop and provide training and technical assistance to law enforcement, criminal justice officials, municipalities, community groups, and diverse populations on various cannabis policy topics; travels to various locations throughout the state to deliver training, presentations, and to promote the Cannabis Policy Resource Center; provides strategic planning, technical assistance and facilitates sessions on how to develop and implement local cannabis policies and ordinances.
- Develops program curriculum for classroom-based training, online training, webinars, and professional development resources; evaluates consumersâ baseline knowledge, skills, and abilities; conducts research on a variety of subject matters and interviews subject matter experts to develop content of training programs.
- Provides training, education, resources, and tools on evidence-based cannabis policy strategies and law enforcement strategies to key stakeholders and communities addressing underage cannabis use.
- Builds relationships with state agency department representatives, municipalities, local officials, law enforcement, and community coalitions focused on underage drinking in communities throughout Illinois to cultivate partnerships to strategize, plan and collaborate efforts.
- Work in conjunction with policy and legislative subject matter experts to research and develop guidance on language that communities can include in their local ordinances to create effective model ordinances; maintain and update this information on the website; and oversee the development of fact sheets and other resources.
- Develops and conducts needs assessments to identify professional development needs, including training and technical assistance, of communities and law enforcement
- Manages the Cannabis Policy Resource Center webpage; develops new and identifies existing resources to be included on this site; manages electronic media activities.
- Coordinates the identification, implementation, and development of an Advisory Board; facilitates board meetings.
- Monitors new literature and trends in the Cannabis Policy field and related fields; provides feedback on current practices, new initiatives, and collaborations; attends relevant Cannabis Policy conference opportunities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Bachelorâs degree in Community Education, Community Health Services, Training, and Instructional Design, Social Work, or related field with a minimum of five to seven years of related professional experience involving the supervision of assigned staff, management of special projects, budgetary accountability, grant writing, professional prevention fieldwork and interactions with youth groups; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Travels to provide technical assistance, training and education to professional and lay groups on medical cannabis issues.

Plans, develops, directs and evaluates the statewide Medical Cannabis Registry program; Includes the program total management process including the formation and implementation of program and organization and implementation of program goals and objectives. Works on procurement issues related to vendor contracts and grants. Serves as a liaison on information technology issues associated with the Medical Cannabis Registry Identification Card program.
4. Plans, prepares and administers the Division budget, directs the development of spending and staffing plans; approves expenditures for activities in program areas.
5. Serves as full line supervisor; assigns work, provides guidance and training to assigned staff; performs annual performance ratings and evaluates performance of subordinates; establishes work goals; recommends and administers discipline; hears and responds to grievances when necessary; recommends salary increases; conducts interviews of prospective new employees and recommends application for hire.
6. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of college.
- Requires experience equivalent to four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in public health or in a local health department.

Position Overview:
The Security Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Security and Compliance, and provides direct management of security services including scheduling and supervision of security personnel, installation, monitoring and maintenance of video surveillance systems, alarms, and access control programs, pursuant to company policy, industry best practices, and laws and rules governed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

The Director of Compliance is responsible for protecting the companyâĂâŹĂâ˘s assets by driving and enforcing adherence to all compliance for the Illinois dispensaries and cultivation center. In this role, it is critical to drive the implementation, operation, and status of regulatory and internal compliance programs. The Director of Compliance will develop, implement and monitor compliance systems, policies, and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and ability to meet regulatory and confidentiality requirements. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to advise on significant risk and compliance issues, recommend solutions and take action. The Director of Compliance will assist staff at other locations outside of Illinois when needed.
The Director of Compliance operates effectively and professionally with direct supervision from the Chief Administrative Officer. This role will follow established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to enhance and improve staff and Company performance.

- Development and oversight of control systems to identify, prevent and resolve compliance failures
- Regular evaluation of these systems and improvement where needed
- âĂâŹĂĹTranslatingâĂâŹĂ regulatory language for compliant operational application
- Collaboration with the Director of Training to identify and assess staff compliance training needs
- Collaboration with the Human Resources Department and facility managers to assess employee performance as it relates to compliance
- Tracking regulatory and legislative developments, with immediate incorporation of relevant changes into compliance training, SOPs and Company policy where appropriate
- Identification of internal and external resources and programs for compliance training
- Such other duties and responsibilities as the Company shall require, including the willingness to travel to Company facilities
QUALIFICATIONS
- The Director of Compliance must possess a MasterâĂâŹĂâ˘s Degree in a related field of work or have at least seven years of experience in regulatory and legal compliance;
- Substantial experience in compliance training;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent record-keeping and written reporting skills;
- Ability to understand complex regulations and resolve contradictory regulatory requirements; and
- Excellent personnel management skills.
