SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Lab Technician duties and responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to the inspection, weighing, labeling and completion of all paperwork related to raw plant material intake.
- Maintain a working inventory of spare and replacement parts.
- Prepare plant material for extraction.
- Operate extraction and distillation equipment within company policies and procedures.
- Maintain precise inventory records of all plant material, chemicals and equipment used in the production process.
- Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to company, state and federal guidelines, and maintaining the cleanliness of all production areas.
- Adherence to cGMP’s (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and all other company policies and procedures.
- Washing and sterilizing of production equipment.

- Understands and adheres to strict PharmLabs' Standard Operating Procedures regarding California compliance and quality testing of cannabis and cannabis products;

- Conducts analytical laboratory investigations, experiments and/or research activities, applies statistical techniques to validate methods, analyzes testing data, and prepares a report of findings;

- Adds internal standards, prepares quality control samples, and conducts other quality control functions;
- Performs system suitability checks, preventive maintenance, and calibrates analytical instrumentation.
- Processes, organizes and summarizes data and computerized results of analysis through the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS);
- Consults with the Laboratory Director to develop and implement new laboratory methods, techniques, and protocols;
- Assists Laboratory Director with special studies in sample preparation;
- Prepares and conducts quality checks on laboratory equipment;
- Assists in the security and cleanliness of laboratory and equipment;
- Conducts supply inventory to ensure availability of consumable laboratory materials;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of hands-on experience in regulated food safety, clinical, forensic, environmental, or cannabis analytical laboratories
- Holds a Bachelors degree in chemistry or related field; advanced degree preferred 2 years of experience with instrumentation

We are looking for a Sample Intake Specialist to take charge of our front end. Position Summary:
To be responsible for the intake of client test samples to Laboratory Information Management System, as well as, act as an overall receptionist and brand ambassador. Under the general direction of the Laboratory Director, is responsible for providing general office services to the laboratory staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Answer incoming calls, determine the purpose of calls and transfer calls
2. Greet walk-in clients
3. Provide proper information about testing to clients
