We are seeking a full time Senior Microbiologist to join the team. This position will be based in Denver, CO. The Senior Microbiologist will perform and/or oversee the routine and non-routine day to day operations within the Laboratory. He/she will perform testing within the laboratory and ensure that testing is conducted based on quality and safety procedures. He/she will perform supervisory duties as delegated by the Microbiology Supervisor.
Testing Personnel Responsibilities:
- Performs routine and non-routine testing and analyses using the appropriate qualified equipment
- Receives as well as processes samples in a safe and aseptic manner
- Calculates results, and records and reports results using the laboratory Management System
- Performs daily and weekly cleaning procedures of the laboratory
- Performs instrument cleaning procedures as necessary
- Performs equipment calibration and qualifications as requested.
- Maintains equipment in proper working order and maintains a clean work environment
- Completes all required training in a timely manner and maintains training on updated policies and procedures.
- Oversees training of new employees on test methods.
- Performs 2 year reviews on assigned documents and conducts trainings for implementation of changes.
- Practices safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.
- Help to maintain laboratory inventory and properly labels and stores chemicals and supplies.
- Performs validation planning and execution under the supervision/approval of the Microbiology Supervisor.
- Proposes validation plans and composes validation reports under the direction of the Microbiology Supervisor.
- Communicates to Microbiology Supervisor and Lab Management any laboratory testing issues related to health, safety or testing practices
- Performs competency testing and PT testing as needed. Performs review of competency testing as delegated by the Microbiology supervisor
- Attends the required safety trainings and remains current with refresher trainings
- Conducts trainings and presentations as relevant to his/her areas of expertise.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as delegated by the Microbiology Supervisor or Lab Management.
- Initiates, documents, and makes decisions regarding non-conformance events in the Microbiology supervisor’s absence.
- Initiates/performs CAPA procedures as requested by the Microbiology supervisor.

Required Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in one of the natural sciences.
- At least 5 years of full-time experience performing microbiology or diagnostic testing in a regulated laboratory environment.
- At least 5 years of experience performing PCR and DNA extraction techniques.
- At least 2 years of experience in method development and SOP writing.
Other Requirements:
- Obtain an Occupational License from the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division
- Complete METRC training
Anticipated range: $25-$30 per hour

Agricor is seeking a full time Customer Support and Intake Specialist to join the team.
Position Summary
The Customer Support and Intake Specialist’s primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to screening all persons prior to entry, greeting and checking-in qualified patients and caregivers, conducting the patient intake process, entering patient data and collaborating with Lab Analysts to work on getting what our customers need and want.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage outstanding phone and in-person customer service skills.
- Be first point of contact for employees, patrons, visitors, deliveries, and inspectors
- Receive and inspect samples as they come into facility to ensure proper packaging, no leaks, damages, etc.
- Daily duties include opening packages from customers regularly and will be required to utilize proper PPE if necessary.
- Be able to follow proper intake processes on all samples in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work closely with sales team to assist with any customer inquiries or questions.
- Answer general and technical questions from customers involving due date of sample(s), status of sample(s) in testing, etc.
- Maintain sample storage in compliance with State law
- Help to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility
- Daily duties require proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet; comfortable learning/using new software.
- Complete additional projects assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
- Must have strong communications skills; excellent customer service skills; proficiency using Google applications including Drive and Docs; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and email.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, calmly and in a positive, helpful manner, adapt to a varied clientele, ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to work well with others, ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Other Characteristics: Comfortable working in the cannabis industry.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role; client-service intensive industry (hospitality, retail, medical) preferred.
- Requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching.
Compensation: $18 /HR
