Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in business law
- Corporate tax background and/or intellectual law experience is preferred
- Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
- Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate real estate purchase agreements, leases, closing documents, and perform due diligence in real estate transactions
- Perform due diligence on behalf of clients seeking to purchase membership or shareholder interests
- Manage client matters to ensure delivery of legal services necessary to obtain and maintain commercial cannabis business licenses
- Provide oversight of paralegal work product

Sales Intake Specialist – Outbound Lead Prospector

We are a busy law firm with inbound phone calls and website submissions. We are looking for a friendly and self-motivated intake specialist to join our sales team. This position receives all new intake leads and determines if they are qualified and directs the call to the sales development representatives. They will schedule and confirm appointments, initiate pre-consultation email sequences, and follow up on older leads that may have not engaged. Great candidates must be very friendly on the phone and have a genuine desire to help people. The Intake Specialist is making the first impression on our potential new clients so this position is very important and is extremely valued. The candidate must be proficient with CRM and sales prospecting software. The job can be performed remotely, but also be performed in our beautiful office setting. A structured and thorough training is provided. Good performance in this position will assure upward career ascention to the Sales Development Representative position which can happen in as little as six months to one year.
Responsibilities
- Respond, engage, and qualify all leads and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Determine lead viability, articulate value proposition, share pricing, and send retainer and fee agreements
- Hold intelligent and engaging conversations by phone, email, text, and other tools that are determined to be effective (i.e. meeting customers where they are)
- Develop an expert and constantly evolving understanding of both practice areas, criminal, business and cannabis law

- Set our sales team up for success with new potential new clients by gathering pertinent information and entering it into our CRM
- Run accurate reports and share insights specific to your KPIs, which include but are not limited to conversion rates, revenue generated, and new clients converted without the help of an attorney
