POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for personnel management, all post-harvest activity including product quality, efficiencies, inventory organization, drying, trimming, and the testing process. This position is also responsible for pushing performance, setting quality standards, streamlining processes, and overall approval of the final product. The Post-Harvest Manager will interact with various department leaders including cultivation, sales, procurement, and Metrc, while reporting daily numbers and quality data to the executive team. They will lead continuous improvement efforts in company operations and the overall quality of our products. While cannabis experience is a big advantage, most important is that you have strong team management, good interpersonal cohesion, experience tracking department data, and a knack for implementing efficiencies through our post-harvest process.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for all post-harvest departments, associates, and processes including dry-cure, trim, bucking, sorting, and packaging departments.
- Provide updates to Sales, CEO and Operations Executives regarding product quality and amounts and be available to provide updates in real-time.
- Maintaining an up-to-date Post Harvest schedule and guiding current batches through the process.
- Responsible for reporting on Inventory to management.
- Manage all inventory of harvested cannabis material through the post-harvest process, including dry-cure, trim, bucking, sorting and packaging departments.
- Maintain Post Harvest productivity tracking system through each stage of the process to measure efficiency, performance, and report on success.
- Responsible for contacting testing lab and scheduling a pickup for testing.
- Manage all personnel schedules, training and development, and daily activities and quotas.
- Follow all rules and regulations for harvest and inventory management including wet weight measurements, dry weight measurements, and harvest batch requirements as set forth by the State of California regulations.

About the Role
We are looking for individuals to help manage our large-scale cultivation operation. The team utilizes well established systems to cultivate plants from seed to harvest with the help of technology and guidance from the Director of Cultivation.

About the Role

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace and for following all departmental and compliance protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Post-harvest Assistant will assist in the trimming, curing, or packaging of dried flower. Will follow standard operating procedures defined for facility staff and post-harvest tasks. Specifically:
- Remove plants from drying racks and process or pack into bins for curing awaiting final processing while maintaining batch separation between varieties
- Clean drying racks to prepare for incoming fresh material
- Remove stems, trim dried flower for up to 7 hours daily
- Pack products for retail sale or prepare “pre-roll” products for packaging

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
As an Assistant General Manager, you will support and partner with the General Manager to motivate and mentor 20+ employees. You will be inspiring a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment and making Harvest the #1 dispensary. The Retail Assistant General Manager must have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and motivational skills with high customer service expectations, and strong conflict resolution skills.
- Support and partner with the GM to ensure maximum profitability and sales growth in all store functions by managing expense budgets, including deposits, accounts receivable, and profit and loss.
- Support and partner with the GM to maintain quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any complaints.
- Support and partner with the GM to utilize management information tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
- Support and partner with the GM to coordinate with the Harvest retail ops, procurement and marketing team to understand the success of promotions, coupons, etc. and to recommend future promotions and sales.
- Support and Partner with the GM to perform inventory audits, assessments of productivity, and of new merchandise in partnership with other departments.
- Adhere to all cannabis state-specific regulations and laws, execute and enforce compliance efforts.
- In collaboration with the GM, review dispensary environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the team and take action to achieve operational goals.
- Train and develop direct reports to ensure successful growth month-over-month.
- Responsibility for continued employee professional development and appreciation.
- Identify and address staff training and needs.
- In conjunction with Human Resources, oversee the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process to build a team to deliver legendary customer service and patient care.
- Develop staff to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and lead daily, weekly and monthly team meetings.
- Establish schedule for the retail staff on a weekly basis including team member time-off.
- Maintain a positive attitude and instill the same in others to promote teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS *
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

- 3+ years in leadership/people management roles in a retail, hospitality, and/or sales setting is required-or equivalent
- Cannabis experience strongly preferred

Summary:
Resinate is looking for candidates to work with a full-time Post-Harvest team at its Douglas cultivation site. Ideal candidates will be familiar with working in a manufacturing or industrial agriculture setting and have a strong desire to cultivate cannabis of the highest quality within a highly controlled environment. Post-Harvest team members will work toward demonstrating task mastery for all essential stages of post-harvest production and receive quarterly raises based on demonstrated skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Post-harvest Assistant will assist in the trimming, curing, or packaging of dried flower. Will follow standard operating procedures defined for facility staff and post-harvest tasks. Specifically:
- Remove plants from drying racks and process or pack into bins for curing awaiting final processing while maintaining batch separation between varieties
- Clean drying racks to prepare for incoming fresh material
- Remove stems, trim dried flower for up to 7 hours daily
- Pack product for retail sale or prepare “pre-roll” products for packaging
- Ensure quality control standards are met including signs of disease or the presence of seeds and report issues to the supervising manager
- Maintain a high degree of order and cleanliness in the working areas of the cultivation facility
- Verify labeling and track all product through proper use of inventory control system
Post-harvest Assistants may have the opportunity to cross-train with other departments based on availability and may qualify for increased compensation based on demonstrated cross-training proficiency.
Additional Skills/Qualification:
- Be at least 21 years of age and able to pass state required background check
- Highschool diploma, College experience preferred

Tokyo Starfish is looking to add a Post-Harvest Assistant to our grow team. This role will operate out of our indoor grow off of Empire Ave in Bend, Oregon. This is a full-time position with store discounts, product samples, and health insurance offered as benefits. The pay will start at $14/hr with plenty of room to grow. This job will be Monday-Friday 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM but applicants need to be able to be flexible with their work schedule in order to hit weekly quotas. Essentially, this is a full time, hourly wage trimming position.

This position is a temporary assignment during the Vineyard Harvest Season, generally beginning mid-May and must be available to work through end of October or early November.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
