- Support the training of staff on medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption methods. Support the educating of staff on the rules and regulations of the industry, specifically, what is prohibited in their role as a marihuana sales location team member
- Encourage and lead Team to meet sales goals as set forth by the Corporate Staff
- Ability to serve as neighborhood and community liaison when Manager and/or Corporate Staff are not available
- Vast knowledge of products Sozo sells and produces along with other industry products
- Ability to diffuse situations that may arise if the marihuana sales location manager is not present

Terrapin is looking for a Sales Manager to join our growing company. As a Boulder, Colo.-based national cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a cultivator, processor and provider of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis products. Over 10 years of operations, Terrapin has grown into a multi-state company with nearly 500 employees. As we have expanded nationally, our need for a Sales Manager has grown significantly.
The Sales Manager is an integral part of the Sales team and overall operations at Terrapin. This position is responsible for actively selling Cannabis and lab products to dispensaries in Michigan and works closely with the National Sales Director and MI Sales Manager- West to execute statewide sales strategies. The Sales Manager will be focused on growing the Terrapin flower brand as well as our Double Bear concentrate brand in new and existing partner stores and is ultimately responsible for building strong, long-term partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
Sell all available flower and lab products to meet weekly sales goals
Build rapport with existing partners and new prospects
Make regular store visits to partner locations to ensure Terrapin is well represented
Maintain deep knowledge of our product line and operating philosophy to educate retail staff on our products, while answering questions and gathering feedback
Alert partners to new/restocked products
Upsell partners on products that they may not yet be carrying
Work to ensure high-demand products are allotted correctly
Grow revenue by gaining new partners and expanding skus/quantity with existing partners
Maintain a deep understanding of partner needs and market trends- strains, products, competition
Work with marketing and the sales team to strategize, organize and send out sales campaign messaging on a routine basis
Develop, and maintain, a strong understanding of Cannabis laws and compliance in MI
Resolve any partner/customer related concerns regarding sales and service
Arrange and execute in-store pop-ups to “meet and greet” with patients and dispensary staff to educate on our products as well as attend events that we sponsor
Internal Responsibilities
Create orders in LeafLink for new orders and have the ability to edit/update orders as needed
Work with National Sales Director and Production teams to ensure the right product mix is being produced week to week
Develop sales strategies to increase revenues and gain new partners
Prepare budgets as necessary and maintain strong expense management
Work with Sales Coordinator and production teams (as needed) to ensure delivery schedules meet partner needs
Communicate partner requests and needs to National Sales Director and Sales Coordinator, as well as other relevant departments
Communicate with billing department on accounts receivable, all product returns, account credits etc. and action any necessary tasks to ensure AR is current across our portfolio
Monitor and report back on competition, economic indicators, and industry trends
Weekly reporting on key metrics
Work with marketing team to execute marketing campaigns
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire. Proof of vaccination required.
Current State Mandated Badge or Background Check.
A clean driving record for the past two years. An MVR check will be conducted if an offer is extended.
High school degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for communicating to the Manager and Corporate Accounting team all non-cannabis vendor payments in cash, check, or electronic transfer
- Meet with the store and corporate management team to ensure proper follow-up on all action items and address any personnel issues
- Collaborate with Marihuana Sales Location Manager and Corporate Team to ensure the store is compliant with all pertinent rules and regulations
- Always ensure proper odor control and cleanliness within the inventory area
- Report/present at all required staff meetings
- Participate in Leadership and Teamwork training
- Work with the management team to create and implement staff incentive programs to increase the level of weight accuracy, promote efficiency, and enhance staff morale

Job Requirements:

The Patient Advisor is responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with patients. Job Summary:
Sozo is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist responsible for the day-to-day inventory operations to ensure cannabis and other products are successfully managed from delivery to guest checkout. As part of the leadership team, they are responsible for the growth and success of the marihuana sales location. Most time will be spent on maintaining inventory levels and controls, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, upholding Sozo standards, and operating all aspects of the marihuana sales location products and supplies under the direction of the Marihuana Sales Location Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consistently deliver the Sozo brand experience and embody the values of the company, including a culture of compliance and excellent service
- Demonstrate proficiency in state/local laws/regulations related to marihuana sales locations
- Handle all daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits
- Ensure that the Manager and Corporate Accounting are notified of all rejected transfers so this may be communicated to the vendor and product replaced or credit given
- Manage par levels for existing product lines and submit proactive reorder requests
- Responsible for inventory management methodologies to ensure low cost of inventory
- Ensure products on display are rotated appropriately
- Complete inventory audits ensuring all inventory handling procedures are being followed, and variance is at target levels
- Report and reconcile inventory discrepancies to management, leadership and MRA
- Responsible for communicating to the Manager and Corporate Accounting team all non-cannabis vendor payments in cash, check, or electronic transfer
- Meet with the store and corporate management team to ensure proper follow-up on all action items and address any personnel issues
- Collaborate with Marihuana Sales Location Manager and Corporate Team to ensure the store is compliant with all pertinent rules and regulations
- Always ensure proper odor control and cleanliness within the inventory area
- Report/present at all required staff meetings
- Participate in Leadership and Teamwork training
- Work with the management team to create and implement staff incentive programs to increase the level of weight accuracy, promote efficiency, and enhance staff morale
- Perform any other duties and projects assigned by Senior Management
Job Requirements:
- Inventory management experience required, marihuana sales location experience preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertinent to the operation
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational, innovative problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass all background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Ability to use standard office equipment, Microsoft Office applications, computer software, and an in-depth understanding of the METRC tracking system
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 35 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job may require walking or standing for long periods of time, along with lifting, bending over, and crouching.

JOB OVERVEW:
Cannabis Grower provides daily care of marijuana plants from planting to harvest, and from harvest to drying and processing the plants. During the cultivation process, the Grower will provide quality care and attention to the growing process of the plants from clone to harvest which includes pruning, trimming, watering and providing nutrients while constantly monitoring plants for any signs of growing issues or problems; treatment for disease or infestation. This is a labor- intensive position that requires attention to detail and self-accountability.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES;
- Daily care of marijuana plants, including potting, watering, pruning, harvesting, trimming and inspecting the plants.
- De-leafing and harvesting marijuana plants, including hanging, curing and drying the plants.
- Topping and pruning vegetative plants
- Maintaining sanitation of tools and person
- Cleaning tables, mopping floors
- Scouting for and reporting any pests and pathogens
- Destruction and disposal of cannabis waste
- Working at a fast pace under warm cultivation lights
- Accurate and detailed recording of job duties
- Willingness to continue to learn best practices of medical/recreational marijuana cultivation with a strong interest in horticulture, agriculture and greenhouse operating systems.
- Ensure daily compliance with policies including but not limited to; legal and company regulations, security protocols, access protocols, dress code and work schedules
