Full Job Description
Budtender Shift Supervisors must be highly motivated individuals with excellent customer service experience and retail sales skills. Budtender Shift Supervisors assist the management team in the oversight of the daily operations of the sales floor. Budtender Shift Supervisors are responsible for providing our customers with product information, sales, cash handling, inventory, and compliance with state regulations, and assisting budtenders as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform/oversee the functions of a Budtender/Front Register Cashier to include initiating and following up with customers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions and educate on products offered
- Operate inventory control software, accept incoming inventory, update floor menu, track inventory from stock room to floor
- Perform audits of current menu to ensure availability, THC percentage and price
- Approve discounts when appropriate
- Educate customers / staff on product properties and selection of proper strains, concentrates and edible options according to the customers’ desired effects
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, procedures, and requirements
- Operate POS, check-in customers, update customer files, troubleshoot technical issues with POS / TVs / Printers
- Comply with company cash handling polices and perform daily cash management responsibilities and compliance reporting per company policy
- Ensure all tips are reported daily by staff
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Contribute to high-trust, collaborative team environment and company advancement in alignment with the strategic direction set by management
- Maintain online ordering platforms – WeedMaps
- Make new Displays / Strain Cards / Sniff Jars and monitor staff merchandising
- Ensure that all cleaning / sanitation duties are performed to a high standard
EXPECTATIONS:
- Must maintain a professional level of honesty, confidentiality, and reliability
- Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- This position must have open evening / weekend availability (No day shifts currently available).
EXPERIENCE:
- Applicants with kitchen / hospitality experience will be considered first
- Retail sales, customer service and cannabis knowledge preferred
- Marijuana Handlers Permit required to be considered for interview

Prep Cook - Edibles Production Assistant

Great Northern Manufacturing Prep Cook/Edibles Production Associate is responsible for the consistent production of company product while adhering to company’s standard operating procedures. The Prep Cook/Edibles Production Associate is committed to completing work with a focus on quality, consistency, and safety.
Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager works to ensure conformity of product and accurate packaging in compliance with company and state regulations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering the best product possible to our customers.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Performing clean-up and dishwashing activities at end of production
- Wrapping and packaging cannabis edibles
- Identifying any inconsistencies according to company standards and guidelines
- Visually inspecting product to ensure viability and quality
- Labeling, packaging, and product logging for accurate inventory control
- Coordinating and executing detailed instructions for production of cannabis edibles
- Monitoring more than one batch or process simultaneously job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stand for long or extended periods of time
- Able to work quickly with his/her hands
- Able to work independently, accurately, and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work with confectionary production equipment such as chocolate tempering machinery, and ovens
- High-level of attention to detail
- Must be able to individually lift to 50 lbs.
EXPERIENCE:
- One-year food service, bakery or production experience
- Experience working in a wholesale food production facility is a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Marijuana Handlers Card before the first day of employment
- Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit before the first day of employment
- Must be comfortable working in production kitchen with high temperatures

- Operate scales and utilize basic weight and measuring tools.
