The Role
As a Part-Time Field Marketing Brand Activation Specialist, you are responsible for being the face of Green Thumb by bringing our brand portfolio to life at various retail and field event activations. We are on a mission to empower the right to wellness in the communities we serve, and this role gets to work with patients, consumers, and the community to help share our story and encourage growth of our cannabis consumer brand portfolio. This individual will report directly into the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) who will set the expectations and develop a schedule for execution.
Responsibilities:
Retail
- Create a unique customer experience to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty, ultimately driving in-store sales.
- Represent GTI's full brand portfolio with a strong understanding of cannabis and key functions and benefits of each of the products.
- Execute in–store demos with store managers or demo coordinators.
- Track all activity and consumer insights/feedback using recap form and provide actionable lessons learned for continuous improvement and engagement with our retail partners and consumers.
- Act as the eyes and ears of GTI from the field: report on observations regarding retail accounts as well as competitor activity.
- Ongoing auditing of all in-store retailer specific activity such as ensuring proper promotional pricing, evaluating GTI product set for any missing SKUs.
- Communicate to FMM to work with sales counterparts to close distribution gaps and identify any out of stocks.
- Partner with Store Managers to either pull stock from back or prompt reorder.
Events/Community Engagement
- Participate in strategic execution of sampling initiatives, reaching consumers where they live, play and shop in your market.
- Build & maintain relationships with various consumer groups that align with the target audiences of GTI's brand portfolio.

Qualifications

- Work closely with Fire Dept. Sales Reps to maintain a robust Vendor Day schedule and

- Communicate with our Executive team to relay market feedback and customer information.
- Regularly travel to outlying territories to engage shops beyond the Portland Metro area.
Additional Requirements:

- Understanding of OLCC compliance expectations.
- Ability to bounce back after hearing “No”.
- Be a self starter, able to stay productive without oversight.

- Conduct general Sales Support (ex. Deliver merchandise, food, new product samples, and swag to our retail partners and budtenders).
- Communicate to your team lead when your demos are scheduled, and what you are learning from each one RE customer feedback or promotional tactics.
- Calendarize all your demos on the team demo calendar, and report back to the sales rep in your territory how things are going.
- Exercise strong communication with your Manager regarding how things are going, and what your needs are (ex. equipment, schwag, samples, etc.)

- NV residency with valid NV Driver license is required
- Must be old enough to work in NV cannabis
- Your own transportation is required
- Must have strong time-management skills
- Ability to be organized with your schedule and prompt with any demos, meetings, or deadlines

The role is office-based in San Francisco and you will be working with the founders directly to build and scale the business.

- Overseeing the implementation of consumer acquisition campaigns and loyalty programs for Grizzly Peak, Blunts+Moore and Green Pearl. Building, maintaining and communicating via mass, segmented and personalized email, text and/or via phone with the consumer segments for each of the aforementioned companies.
- Ensure that all Grizzly Peak, Blunts+Moore and Green Pearl brand guidelines are being followed and all brand as well as required legal and regulatory information is up-to-date in all forms of advertising and promotion, including, but not limited to company websites, social media sites, packaging, flyers, billboards, and all other forms of media.
- Use available analytic tools to prepare and generate weekly reports as to the status, progress and ROI of all advertising campaigns and be able to interpret the data to provide insights and recommendations as to ways to improve performance.

Dixie Brands is looking for a strong Brand Specialist in the Detroit or Ann Arbor area to join the team and play a vital role in the organization's sales process. The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate several responsibilities including but not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance the company's brand and reputation to the Market/end Consumer.
- Support Sales Team with Dispensary Staff Trainings, Special Events, and Promotions. The KPI goals/numbers may be adjusted according to the size of the market.
- Survey Stores (at least 30 Centers Weekly) for Inventory Management, POS, Training, Promotional, and new Product Placement Opportunities.
- Overall Market information to understand trends, new products, and Sales Strategies.
- Create and develop Dispensary staff incentives, Contests, and In-Store Features.
- Create and develop Dispensary Staff Facility Tours and Dixie focused events.
- Coordinate objectives with marketing and sales departments.
- Ensure merchandising and brand placement to company standards.
- Engage consumers at Point of Purchase to increase brand awareness and conversion.
- Drive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty for a number of business areas.

A Brand Specialist is such an integral part of the team that will get to reach the public at several different levels. This position is not for the faint of heart. You will wear many hats and have a variety of tasks that will vary week to week and include travel to multiple locations.
Our facility is based out of Boulder but we will need you offsite attending pop up events as well as delivering two days per week.
The job duties include:
- Overseeing social media posts, comments and replies, stories, and pop up event coverage
- Meeting par level for weekly post, stories, and community engagement requirements
- Traveling to various dispensaries to host pop up events 1-2x/week
- Delivering weekly orders 2 days/week
- Promoting brand awareness with the staff upon drop off of deliveries
- Taking photographs of the plants in the grow as well as product shots and stories at both the MIP and cultivation on a weekly basis in Boulder
- Meeting weekly with the sales team to discuss campaigns and weekly tasks
- Participating in round table discussions with ownership and bringing new social media and branding ideas to the table
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

- Dependable- can always be counted on to show up to meetings, photo shoots and events

- People person- an extrovert who loves to meet new people and can talk/connect to any age or demographic
- Organizational skills- meticulously organizes all appointments, paperwork and tasks.
- Social media background- has worked a commercial account on instagram and facebook platforms. Additional platforms a bonus
- Photography experience- able to shoot high resolution shots of the plants and products
- Sales skils- previous experience in sales or brand ambassador positions that are very comfortable educating the public and can create a repor with vendors and their staff
- Good driving record- no tickets or restrictions on their license
This position is full time with full benefits and PTO. It requires travel 75% of the time going to pop up events, delivering orders (within the local region) as well as going to the boulder facility to photograph and capture video.
The remaining 25% of your time will be from home working on social media, attending virtual meetings, and scheduling your pop ups.
