JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory/Retail Specialist position will be responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory records in compliance with State regulations in order to efficiently support the supply and demand of the retail operations. The Inventory/Retail Specialist will also maintain the retail sales floors product merchandising, ensuring an appealing, organized and efficient retail environment, while promoting exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Inventory
- Coordinates receiving, transfer and/or movement of all products within the retail store.
- Enters product received into inventory tracking software in a timely manner.
- Ensure product matches manifest description.
- Maintain a database with SKU/UPC numbers; ensure all reconciliation is regularly completed including matching physical inventory to METRC inventory.
- Completes periodic and random audits for internal and state compliance.
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly store inventory cycle count and inventory reconciliation.
- Researches and reports to management inventory discrepancies, including but not limited to, out of balance circumstances, lost or missing inventory, or inventory adjustments.
- Maintain active knowledge of incoming inventory and inventory levels on hand.
- Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify Management when material has expired or is damaged.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage area for efficient material storage and handling.
- Provide hands-on employee training of inventory tracking system and inventory procedures, including but limited to, store SOP's for intake, packaging, labeling and inventory tracking.
- Maintain compliance with local and state regulations, company policies and SOPs.
- May fulfill sales orders on an as needed basis.
Retail Floor
- Arranges retail displays for cannabis and non-cannabis merchandise.
- Keeps retail displays and floor organized and stocked in order to create a pleasant and welcoming environment.
- Ensures retail floor is in compliance with state regulations.
- Ensures product pricing displayed is accurate, including any signage/displays pertaining to discounts or specials.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Must be at least 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED).
- Requires at least six (6) months of retail inventory or retail merchandising experience or a combination of both.
- Requires experience with POS and inventory tracking systems.
· Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to pass all required background investigation checks, including any pre-employment screening as a condition of employment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and/or days off and variable shifts.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Position Summary
The Product Specialist can expect to work closely with management. The Product Specialist counts, sorts and checks in incoming product; verifies against shipping notices or invoices; places product on sales floor shelves or in storeroom.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory software, ensure the accuracy of inventory records and help intake deliveries.
- Receive and accurately count all incoming product.
- Ensure all product scans properly.
- Assist with preparing returns.
- Report to management on inventory issues and discrepancies. Maintain store inventory for proper product rotation while also organizing product for an orderly and neat appearance at all times.
- Assist customers and team members in locating products, materials and supplies to ensure proper workflow and exceptional customer service.
- File manifests and invoices.

- Maintain inventory software, ensure the accuracy of inventory records and help intake deliveries.
- Receive and accurately count all incoming product.
- Ensure all product scans properly.
- Assist with preparing returns.

The Patient Care Specialist (PCS) is the ultimate Anacostia Organics brand ambassador. The PCS greets and checks in patients and must have knowledge of cannabis products for excellent patient service. The PCS will be able to educate patients and guide them through the process.
Major Areas of Responsibilities:
Acts as the first impression member of Anacostia Organics;
Check-in patients into the POS system, verifying credentials and assisting new patients in registering with Anacostia Organics;
Oversees the queuing process;
Ensures the smooth, efficient, and fast flow of patients through the Lobby upon entry and exit;
Oversees the order pick-up process, in-store and curbside;
Assists patients with in-store procedures and in-store online ordering;
Informs customers about new products and services;
Possesses knowledge in cannabis and cannabis digestive methods;
Reviews METRC/LeafLogix quotas and notes on patient profiles;
Answers phones, retrieves, and responds to voicemails and email inquiries;
Creates a warm, empathetic, and welcoming environment in keeping up with Anacostia Organics’ values.

To provide excellent service and knowledge of cannabis to patients in the dispensary in a professional and caring manner.

Job PurposeThe Vendor Relations Specialist will be responsible for sourcing & purchasing inventory for all stores across multiple states. This includes but is not limited to medicinal cannabis, recreational cannabis, and paraphernalia (both internationally sourced & local to each state).

Inventory Specialist Job Summary
Inventory specialists can expect to work closely with management, help maintain inventory levels for products in back stock, on the sales floor, and merchandise displays.
Other responsibilities include maintaining inventory storage software, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, organizing and digitizing vendor records, COA’s, and shipping manifests and intake of all deliveries.
Successful inventory specialists should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates will have inventory experience as well as extensive knowledge of cannabis and all related cannabis products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Aiding Buyer in relevant inventory tasks as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Organization and passing off of Certificate of Analysis (COAs) and Shipping Manifests
- Must be grouped by delivery and invoice, and physically placed in the proper location. Must be scanned and organized digitally.

- Ensuring all products are named and categorized properly in Blaze
- Communicate with Marketing Department
- Ensure sufficient stock for vendors during events
- Notify the Marketing department of new products / inventory

- Communicate with waste management when the waste bin is mostly full to arrange pickup

- Twice a month, physical inventory will be counted and compared to inventory in Blaze

Qualifications

Purchase Order Specialist - Cannabis Retail Corporate Office

We are a fast growing Recreational/Medical Cannabis Company looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivating, driven individual to join our team onsite in Woodland Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will have open availability, extreme attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Our purchasing team oversees multiple locations out of 2 corporate offices, so the ability to focus and keep extremely organized is a must. Communication with your Vendor Relations, POS Specialist, and Store Managers at all locations is an absolute necessity as they are your main points of contact regarding inventory.
Data Entry experience preferred, not necessarily in the cannabis industry.
Recommended Math course completions: Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Statistics
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process manifests/invoices for receiving product/payment and update invoice details accordingly
- Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs
- Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods
- File all invoices/manifests/receipts accordingly in Google Drive
- Prepare relevant reports as needed
- Provide general data entry support across many teams on an ad-hoc basis
- Make phone calls to various retail stores to confirm discounts/sales/marketing promotions are appropriately implemented
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2 years of data entry experience or related office experience
- Exceptional math skills
- Working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Excel
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to enter data into spreadsheet, fillable PDF, purchase order, etc
- Comfortable with office-related equipment including a computer, telephone, printer/scanner, and calculator
- Ability to think analytically and logically
- Must be able to pass typing test at 50wpm with 95% accuracy.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of a PC (iOS experience will not be considered as "Strong computer skills")
- Must be comfortable using a 10-key
- Must be able to interact with vendors/employees over the phone on a daily basis in a timely, respectful manner
- All prospective employees must pass a detailed background check as well as a drug test (testing positive for marijuana will not negatively affect the hiring process)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
