Going deeper, this means you are responsible for many things like the client relationship, brand development, writing creative briefs and copy, brainstorming ideas with the creative team, planning and buying media, choosing production companies for TV spots and the list goes on.

You will be supported by an amazing Creative Team that will take the client needs you discover and bring them to life. We use an incredible job management system (Workzone) that tracks all details of each project. Our Traffic Manager oversees all of your jobs and makes sure you stay on task and on time. You will have all of your creative proofed. Our Social Media Team uses Sprout Social to manage and drive social media strategies and tactics for our clients. And, you will be supported by the owners and directors of the company, all of who have deep connections and knowledge of our clients. This way you will be able to make a timely transition to self-sufficiency, but you will never feel left alone or without support. Quite frankly, it is a very unique model and one we are proud of.
Must have skills:
- Insatiable curiosity. You must want to understand how ALL the dots connect for our clients (not just marketing needs). How does marketing integrate with sales, merchandising, operations, etc. The more we understand, the more problems we can solve.
- Strong listening skills. You need to hear what is and what is not being said.
- An innate sense of urgency that motivates you to lead projects to fruition.
- Leadership skills. You will often be leading meetings, initiatives and projects that need someone to take point.
- You have to be truly organized. It is mandatory in order to properly utilize our project management software.

Requirements:
One (1) to two (2) years minimum in a marketing position where you have been executing much of the above. You don’t have to have experience in absolutely everything listed. PT Curriculum Developer, Cannabis Program

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
North Shore Community College invites applications for a motivated learner-focused professional to develop and teach three courses in a new Cannabis Certificate program. These courses and certificate program will be offered within the existing Horticulture Department in the STEM and Business Division. Topics for these courses may include: Cannabis Law and Regulatory Environment, Cannabis Cultivation
Methods, and Post-Harvest Product Management and Manufacturing. The selected applicant will work closely with college personnel and representatives of the regional Cannabis industry to build courses for our program that address the needs of students and regional employers.
This is a part-time position for the development of these courses with the potential to be added to North Shore Community College's adjunct faculty. The courses are expected to be offered at North Shore Community College in the Fall semester of 2023.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new courses for the North Shore Community College Cannabis Certificate program including:
- Written Catalog Description
- Development of Student Learning Outcomes
- Proposal for Textbook or course material selection
- Development of Topical Outline
- Development of course syllabi
- Proposed Assessment and Grading policies
- Write and edit clear, thoughtful lesson plans.
- Respond to editorial feedback in a professional manner
- Meet assigned deadlines and quality standards for NSCC courses
- Embrace the ideals of diversity and inclusiveness and support the equal rights of all people by advancing the understanding and appreciation of differences including age, race, gender, ability, religious convictions, socio-economic status, ethnic heritage, or sexual orientation.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field. Master's degree preferred.
- Broad experience-based knowledge in the cannabis industry either through industry-related work or academic study

Job Summary
The POS Sales Agent is a key player in ensuring the store operates in compliance with the State of Massachusetts Regulations. POS Agents are a positive representative of Sanctuary’s commitment to serve our community and are passionate about creating a positive retail cannabis experience for all who come to our shops. This includes facilitating a smooth and efficient customer experience and assisting our new/returning customers/patients with accurate information and exceptional product guidance.
Duties/Responsibilities

The Role
In this role, your main responsibility will be to assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products for their needs and are the product expert on duty at the store. Patient Care Specialists engage in one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they walk into the retail area until they check out and exit the store. Compliance with applicable rules and regulations as implemented by the state is required.
Our ideal Patient Care Specialists should be friendly and upbeat, much like a barista in your favorite coffee shop. It's our hope that our patients are drawn to our Patient Care Specialists and Sanctuary because of our service, our products and our approachable and knowledgeable demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Help customers in the retail location in accordance with Sanctuary’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Follow established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store.
- Help customers make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients.
- Complete any work assigned during scheduled shift including:
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point Of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system
- Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Management of visitor log
- Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
- Reporting of employee issues or patient situations
- Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Sanctuary.
- Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system in the human body.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain a State Agent Card.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must be able to available to work hours of operations: 7 days a week
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
