JOB SUMMARY
The Propagation technician (PT) is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical Cannabis production cycle with a focus in propagation and vegetative phases but not limited to. Aid in carrying out daily crop related tasks such as: General plant care, fertigation, de-leafing and skirting, cloning, transplanting, repopulating, plant training, data input and tracking, cleaning, sanitizing, and more as directed by management.
Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day assignments in coordination with grow operations and cultivation practices from seed to harvest including but not limited to general plant care, transplanting, training plants, cloning, fertigation, cleaning and sanitizing, data Input, and scouting.
- Adheres to all SOP’s, compliance, and safety standards.
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.

Job Summary

Medical Cannabis Cultivation Technician – Kind Therapeutics USA
JOB DESCRIPTION
To facilitate daily cultivation operations within the Kind Therapeutics facility, including the consistent monitoring of cultivation room environments, plant health, watering, integrated pest management, cloning, pruning, transplanting and other related activities. This position reports directly to the Propagation Lead. The ideal candidate will possess the capacity to be trained on cultivation SOPs with the ability to follow those tasks accordingly in a repetitive production environment. This position functions within an established team to perform the daily tasks of propagation within the Cultivation department. Ensure tasks are being performed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with all current Kind Therapeutics cultivation SOP's. Cultivation Technician is responsible for following daily operations schedule in cultivation, including processes and procedures within propagation, vegetation, flowering, and the post-harvest phases.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining clean and organized workspace at all times
- Ensures all materials are kept in good/clean condition by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Tools are cleaned daily and replaced appropriately
- Assists with supply inventory by monitoring materials and anticipating material needs and minimizing waste
- Displays a positive attitude and has a passion for cultivation
- Achieves cultivation objectives by conducting processes and procedures in accordance to the SOPs and completes daily schedule

Job Summary
The Propagation Technician is responsible for performing all day-to-day cultivation tasks and maintenance activities in the propagation facility. The Propagation Technician reports to team leads and the Propagation Nursery Manager, executes daily task plans set by management, maintains a clean, healthy and safe work environment, and ensures the Company's quality standards are met. Tasks include: cutting clones, pruning, transplanting, germinating, watering, spraying, cleaning, washing pots and tables, and sanitizing the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead and manage indoor cultivation facility team
- Ensure the excellent health and growth of plants including proper watering, fertilization, pruning, spacing, spraying, integrated pest management (IPM), and temperature control.
- Perform all cultivation tracking and recordkeeping functions within the seed to sale electronic system remaining in compliance with the department's rules and regulations.
- Responsible for training of entire cultivation team.
- Manage plant scheduling to accurately project all garden requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maximize high-quality yield with efficiency and attention to production costs.
- Schedule, manage and oversee cloning processes, achieving a minimum 90% success rate.
- Execute preventative maintenance program including elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Adept at industry best-practices and current on new techniques and insight with respect to nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cannabis and knowledge of effects of strains and types of medicinal administration.
- Assist state and local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits.

Job Description
The Cultivation Technicians are responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operation from seedling to harvest.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Performs plant and crop maintenance using standard procedures including but not limited to, cloning, transplanting, feeding, trimming and pest management
- Maintains clean environment by removing and disposing of all cannabis waste, cleaning and sanitizing all rooms and tools used on a daily basis

Job Summary
The Propagation Technician is responsible for performing all day-to-day cultivation tasks and maintenance activities in the propagation facility. The Propagation Technician reports to team leads and the Propagation Nursery Manager, executes daily task plans set by management, maintains a clean, healthy, and safe work environment, and ensures the Company’s quality standards are met. The Propagation Technician carries out day-to-day activities in our cultivation facility, including cloning and plant maintenance within the mother room. The Propagation Technician’s role is to maintain healthy mother and clone rooms and efficiently propagate the required volume of clones to meet production schedule metrics, and delivers the best possible quality finished products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute properly trained techniques and/or any other specialized requirements such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, watering, cleaning, spraying.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining required spacing, air circulation, and light exposure to maintain proper plant health.
- Responsible for the vitality and health of the plants by monitoring, scouting, and reporting pests and diseases.
- Learn and follow protocols for plant-related systems.
- Take instruction and assist with tasks delegated by the management team.
- Use, maintain and operate equipment and tools within the facility.
- Ensure the daily compliance policies are followed, including all the state, security protocols, access protocols, and dress code.
- Maintain a continuous focus on safety and injury prevention in all aspects of production work.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitization inside the production area and facility, at all times, including routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and infrastructure.

Medical Cannabis Cultivation Technician – Kind Therapeutics USA
JOB DESCRIPTION
To facilitate daily cultivation operations within the Kind Therapeutics facility, including the consistent monitoring of cultivation room environments, plant health, watering, integrated pest management, cloning, pruning, transplanting and other related activities. This position reports directly to the Propagation Lead. The ideal candidate will possess the capacity to be trained on cultivation SOPs with the ability to follow those tasks accordingly in a repetitive production environment. This position functions within an established team to perform the daily tasks of propagation within the Cultivation department. Ensure tasks are being performed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with all current Kind Therapeutics cultivation SOP's. Cultivation Technician is responsible for following daily operations schedule in cultivation, including processes and procedures within propagation, vegetation, flowering, and the post-harvest phases.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining clean and organized workspace at all times
- Ensures all materials are kept in good/clean condition by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Tools are cleaned daily and replaced appropriately
- Assists with supply inventory by monitoring materials and anticipating material needs and minimizing waste
- Displays a positive attitude and has a passion for cultivation
- Achieves cultivation objectives by conducting processes and procedures in accordance to the SOPs and completes daily schedule
- Responsible for keeping accurate plant count inventory and metric tags to maintain compliance
- Ensures all plants are fed appropriately by monitoring moisture levels of grow medium
- Documents feed regimen by recording PPM and pH of feed, as well as PPM of run-off when necessary
- Monitors room environmentals and plant health. Reports any issues in a timely manner
- Knowledgeable in plant care techniques including topping plants on schedule, selection of plants to be culled, defoliation and disposal compliance
- Responsible for the pruning, maintenance, and preservation of Mother plants
- Ensures that Mother plants are prepared for vegetative cuttings on appropriate days to meet production deadlines
- Follows schedule on plant maintenance to ensure each mother plant has the appropriate number of cuts available
- Responsible for selecting which cuts are put into production and keeping a sanitary environment
- Must be skilled in plant care to ensure mother plants are properly fed and maintained throughout their 4-month life cycle
- Responsible for up-trimming, de-fanning, pruning, transplanting, and grooming mother plants
- Responsible for the close inspection and monitoring of plant pressures including pest, fungal, bacterial, viruses, and all plant health issues
- Follows IPM schedule and wears appropriate PPE when drenching or spraying
- Uses data and information collected to suggest improvements to grow processes
- Familiar with Comar and MMCC regulations and ensures all procedures are in compliance
- Possess skills in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed
- Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as information sharing
- Completes daily duties on time and willing to accept additional job duties and responsibilities
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
- Record accurate information using METRC and Leaf Logix
- Responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager or department lead, the Cultivation/Propagation Technician will perform manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing cannabis, including, but not limited to; watering, feeding, pruning, cloning, cleaning, data collection, and transplanting. Attention to detail is extremely important in this role. The ideal candidate will excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state-regulated system and timelines. The Cultivation Technician is part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the high quality of live and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process. Ensuring quality cannabis leaves the cultivation facility is the most important aspect of this role. Schedule will be Wednesday-Sunday (8:30am-5:00pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with daily plant maintenance: irrigation, nutrition management, pruning, topping, training
- Clone, clean/sanitize pots, fill pots with soil and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepared them for the flowering stage.
- Propagate multiple cultivars on a weekly time frame based on tight production schedules
- Log and track plants across stages of growth in traceability software to ensure compliance and scheduling requirements are met
- Perform tasks related to sanitation, decontamination, propagation, transplantation, harvest, trimming, etc. in a highly productive and efficient manner to maximize yield
- Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
- Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, spaces the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensures irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
- Work with cultivation team to determine changes needed based on the nutritional and/or environmental needs of the crop.
- Harvests product; defoliates, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Maintain appropriate biosecurity measures.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste to dumping area.
- Clears pots and waste out of greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.
- Completes tasks in a timely and efficient manner according to company objectives and SOPs

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and SKILLS
- Minimum 2+ years cannabis cultivation experience.
- Background in horticulture, agriculture, and/or plant sciences.
- High school diploma, GED graduate, preferred.
- Must be 21 years old per state regulations and pass a criminal background check.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures.
- Must have a basic understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and local authorities.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Propagation Technician helps coordinate the daily activities in our cultivation facility. The Propagation Technician efficiently and effectively cares and propagates the plants to ensure they are at optimum health to provide high quality product to our patients.

· Monitor and Report Pest and disease to Plant Health Specialist.
