Role Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Responsible for weighing, assembling, packaging and labeling various forms of cannabis
- Operate equipment as needed and dictated by the process
- Adherence manufacturing processes
- Maintain accurate daily activities records and operation logs as directed

QUALIFICATIONS *
- Production experience in the food/beverage or pharmaceutical industry desired
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with a team

- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance

THCI is a cannabis product manufacturer based in Orange, MA. We operate an independent cannabis manufacturing facility that produces cannabis products for sale at licensed cannabis dispensaries throughout the state of MA.
At THCI, the Production Associate’s role is to perform all the tasks and actions necessary to produce a variety of cannabis products to our exacting standards.
The Production Associate’s job duties include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Completing all manufacturing and packaging tasks as assigned by the production manager and in accordance with the appropriate standard operating procedures set forth by THCI.
Adhering to all company policies as well as all local, state, and Cannabis Control Commission regulations at all times.
Maintaining quality control measures to ensure the highest quality of product.

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Associate is a position cross-trained to perform daily tasks in all Operations Departments. This role commits to spend the first 6 months training in all Departments.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Ensure high quality, consistent, reliable, compliant and safe manufacturing processes.
- Support the manufacturing schedule to ensure product availability.
- Packaging: Process flower, preroll and specialty product precisely and according to department guidelines and SOP. Maintain high quality processing and safety standards. Keep accurate and detailed records. Clean and sanitize work tools, equipment and workspace. Label, audit, and organize product for transport. Operate production equipment according to manufacturer instruction. Maintain inventory and perform inspections.
- Kitchen: Prepare a variety of products according to established recipes. Keep a consistent and accurate stock of ingredients and supplies. Complete production sheets and other records as required. Package and label finished baked goods. Observe necessary commercial kitchen hygiene. Clean and maintain work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Laboratory: Observe Lab Standard Procedures.?Extract cannabis oil to be used for edible production?and maintain quality and yields for oil and distillate production.?Produce a variety of lab products (tinctures, concentrates, beverages, etc). Prepare and submit samples for testing.?Conform to all standard safety requirements. Maintain lab in a safe and clean manner.?Perform routine housekeeping responsibilities (sweep, mop, clean glassware and equipment, surface cleaning). Order?and procure?supplies unique to this operation.?
- Production: Prepare and manifest product orders. Print product labels and barcodes. Apply product labels and barcodes, manually and using automated equipment. Assist all departments with product packaging and labeling. Maintain inventory to ensure product availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Associate is a position cross-trained to perform daily tasks in all Operations Departments. This role commits to spend the first 6 months training in all Departments.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Ensure high quality, consistent, reliable, compliant and safe manufacturing processes.
- Support the manufacturing schedule to ensure product availability.
- Packaging: Process flower, preroll and specialty product precisely and according to department guidelines and SOP. Maintain high quality processing and safety standards. Keep accurate and detailed records. Clean and sanitize work tools, equipment and workspace. Label, audit, and organize product for transport. Operate production equipment according to manufacturer instruction. Maintain inventory and perform inspections.
- Kitchen: Prepare a variety of products according to established recipes. Keep a consistent and accurate stock of ingredients and supplies. Complete production sheets and other records as required. Package and label finished baked goods. Observe necessary commercial kitchen hygiene. Clean and maintain work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Laboratory: Observe Lab Standard Procedures.?Extract cannabis oil to be used for edible production?and maintain quality and yields for oil and distillate production.?Produce a variety of lab products (tinctures, concentrates, beverages, etc). Prepare and submit samples for testing.?Conform to all standard safety requirements. Temple Hill Collective, Inc. (THCI) is hiring Production Associates for our cannabis product manufacturing facility in Orange, MA.
THCI is a cannabis product manufacturer based in Orange, MA. We operate a state-of-the-art cannabis manufacturing facility that produces cannabis products for sale at licensed cannabis dispensaries throughout the state of MA.
At THCI, the Production Associate’s role is to perform all the tasks and actions necessary to produce a variety of cannabis products to our exacting standards.
The Production Associate’s job duties include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Completing all manufacturing and packaging tasks as assigned by the Director of Production and in accordance with the appropriate standard operating procedures set forth by THCI.
Adhering to all company policies as well as all local, state, and Cannabis Control Commission regulations at all times.
Maintaining quality control measures to ensure the highest quality of product.
Upholding all standards and procedures pertaining to facility cleanliness, such as cleaning of supplies, workspaces, and equipment.
Assist with any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Production and/or direct supervisor.
General Requirements:
- 1-3 years packaging or production experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent computer proficiency including MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Google documents.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and be reliable and dependable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate calmly and professionally.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of the team or independently to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of the instructions given.
Required Skills:

The Infusion Manufacturing Associate is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day cannabis infused product manufacturing at Theory’s medical cannabis facility. These duties include producing cannabis-infused products such as gummy chews, tinctures, capsules, and lozenges, cleaning the facility, and packaging products. The Infusion Manufacturing Associate is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day cannabis infused product manufacturing at Theory’s recreational cannabis facility. Responsibilities will include:
- Complying with State regulations and Theory Wellness standard operating procedures
- Compliantly transporting products to and from Marijuana Establishments
- Organizing inventory based on production needs
- Receiving and organizing inventory
- Maintaining a clean, safe workspace
- Following recipes and calculating accurately to create consistent infusion products
- Maintaining an organized, clean, and compliant vault space
- Maintaining an organized warehouse
- Performing regular inventory audits

Job Description

Monday through Friday but may change due to the needs of the business. (Open Availability Preferred)
The job duties of the manufacturing position include but are not limited to:
1.) Weighing out and packaging cannabis product in an efficient manner and followingall guidelines as well as guidelines provided by the BCC and CDPH.2.) Time keeping of all tasks assigned.3.) Record keeping of all strain and batch IDs assigned.4.) Record keeping of all items made for each shift.5.) Organization and cleaning of pre pack areas.6.) Making boxes7.) Putting Labels on boxes

As a pre pack, you will be expected to weigh out flower, label jars, package items into boxes, make pre rolls, and prepare for promotional events, among other duties.

The incumbent is highly detailed oriented with excellent documentation skills. The incumbent will become trained and skilled at most or all unit operations in their area, often leading the execution of procedures, and performs most functions with minimal supervision.
- Executes manufacturing processing steps and/or manufacturing support activities, monitoring the process against the batch record and control system. May coordinate or lead process steps as requested
- Documents/Records and Reviews cGMP data and information (including documentation of deviations) for processing steps and/or equipment activities, following standard operating procedures. Revises or creates documents as instructed. Key documentation includes batch records, SLRs, and equipment logbooks.
- Actively participates in training activities, managing their individual training plan. Trains other associates as required.
- Executes validation protocols with minimal supervision/direction of others.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Targeted biopharmaceutical training (Bioworks or equivalent) and/or related military training also preferred.
- Detailed oriented with excellent documentation skills
- Operates in a safe manner in order to avoid injury to self and others
- Strong peer and team leadership skills.
- Adaptable to changing needs and demands, comfortable navigating in a changing environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity; quickly understands the needs based on the situation at hand
- Influencing and leading a positive attitude throughout team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization
- Ability to interact with others in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with Biogen’s Core Behaviors
- Capable to work a 12-hour shift, both day shift or night shift
Additional Information
The Manufacturing Associate performs and documents daily manufacturing operations in a cGMP environment that involves operation of process equipment, execution of validation protocols, creating/ revising cGMP documents and other assignments.
