Toluca Lake Collective (TLC) is an official licensed dispensary of the Jungle Boys located near the heart of Los Angeles. TLC provides members of the cannabis community with affordable, award-winning cannabis products in a state-of-the-art environment. Our integrative design provides a seamless experience, featuring high-definition digital menus and a 360-dgree display case showcasing flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and tinctures.
We are looking to employ an HR Generalist with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs. This role will report directly to the HR Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
· May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
· Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· At least three years of human resource management and five years of HR experience preferred.
· SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR, or other HR Certifications a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Job Description:
The Packaging Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively preparing, filling, packaging and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications. This position will also be responsible for maintaining production and packaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proper setup and operation of filling, solid dose manufacturing, packaging and labeling equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Assist in monitoring and managing processing equipment supplies and inventory
- Execute all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with our SOP’s and all applicable manufacturing procedures
- Perform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records
- Support new product lines and process development as needed
- Be willing and able to be cross-trained to work alongside other team members with manufacturing, harvesting, drying and weighing of our broad medical cannabis product line as needed.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
- Train future new team members as necessary.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED required.
- A team player and is able to collaborate with others, being able to communicate with cross-department personnel.

- Ability to think out of the box, look for new ways of streamlining and improving the approvals process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age and able to work legally in the USA.
- Knowledge and familiarity with cannabis and warehouse procedures.
- Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale.

The responsibilities of the Budtender include greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing of cannabis products to address customer needs and concerns. You should also be able to answer customers’ questions regarding the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods of consumption. An outstanding Budtender should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases.
Budtender Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales and customer service through maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environment.
- Promote work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, including greeting customers warmly when they enter.
- Educate patients about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on patient needs/requests.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Staying up-to-date with new products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Maintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store, online, and phone orders.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Handle completely and accurately cash and discount application.
