Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting retail environment
- Able to talk about use of cannabis in a professional and respectful way

- Greeting customers warmly when they enter
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) systems Cannabis 365 and METRC

Summary:
Theory Wellness is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Processing Associate (1:30 pm-10 pm) at our facility in Waterville, Maine. A Processing Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Initiate the pre-roll production process by grinding, screening, weighing and labeling the material
- Gain Understanding of Leaf Logics & Metrc
- Work to meet or exceed all production quotas
- Follow compliance regulations

- Loading and unloading marijuana into drying and curing areas.

Theory Wellness operates state of the art cannabis cultivation and dispensing facilities. We are seeking enthusiastic manager candidates to manage the day-to-day retail operations in our Waterville dispensary.
Responsibilities will include:
- Executing full P&L leadership over all aspects of business in our Waterville, ME, location
- Monitor scheduling, payroll, and budgets to help support retail operations
- Help support grass-roots marketing and community engagement
- Responsible for all performance functions in business to drive sales, adhere to metrics and KPIs, (key performance indicators)
- Support all facets of recruitment, hiring, team development, coaching and written/verbal feedback
- Ensure each guest is provided the highest possible level of service
- Drive world-class team engagement, aligned with Theory values
- Drive all opening and / or closing procedures, including daily cash and inventory reconciliations & financial/inventory reporting
- Ensuring compliance with all the Office of Marijuana Policy for Maine and related regulations.
- Ensure compliance in all record-keeping and filing systems, to include ensuring Metric compliance
- Conduct internal investigations as needed with LP Manager, and help reduce inventory shortage
- Ensure legal compliance with all applicable labor laws
- Other tasks as directed by your supervisor

Requirements:
- 3+ Years in retail management experience managing a fast-paced business
- Experience managing a team of at least 5 or more individuals

- High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- You have a passion for cannabis

May be responsible for permitting applications and compliance assistance for CA Dept of Fish & Wildlife Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreements, State Water Resources Control Board Site Management Plans and other technical plans, Biological Resource Assessments, CEQA compliance documents, and other related technical reports and environmental document preparation;
Responsibilities may include site mapping and site data collection in the field,
Site feasibility visits and reports;
Responsibilities include intake site visits, working with Flowra Account Managers on communication to clients for environmental permitting needs, data collection, technical report preparation;
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Bachelor's Degree is required in related environmental science or biology degree.
At least two years of experience in same or similar field.
Experience with Wildlife Biology and CEQA or NEPA a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents and write permit applications, reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, effectively and professionally with staff and customers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to use personal computer and standard office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe. Knowledge of mapping software and/or Adobe Illustrator desired.

Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Packaging and Inventory Control, provide support in the general operation of the company through the compliant intake and storage of finished product for internal and wholesale orders/transfers to maximize operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Fulfill daily obligations to the satisfaction of supervisory staff.
Thorough communication of any obstacle which limits their capability to see individual duties through to completion.
Relay to superiors any conditions observed that may affect the successful completion of that day’s work.
Complete or oversee everyday responsibilities including but not limited to;
Intake of finished product to Cultivation Inventory vault
Organization of Packaging Inventory Vault
Outgoing order organization
Shipment preparation/verification
All matters related to compliance of State and Federal regulations.
Assist in the organization and handling of internal product inventory from the point of intake from packaging department through transfer to a licensed facility
Maintain inventory location data entry in the inventory control system
Keep all inventory properly labelled in compliance with Department of Taxation regulations
Assist in the Identification and resolution of any inventory discrepancies and/or compliance related issues
Participate in the execution and maintenance of internal inventory audits as necessary
Compliant destruction and tracking of waste in accordance with Company policy and State of Nevada regulations
Provide assistance in the testing process through preparation of scheduled lots to be analyzed
Utilizes internal and Department of Taxation mandated databases to ensure accuracy of outgoing shipments and corresponding manifests/invoices.
Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training.

Summary:
