Job Responsibilities:
This is a full-time position, with 5 daytime shifts per week, which may include either a Saturday or Sunday shift.
- Assist in audits for all items related to research projects in the greenhouse, such as seeds, plants, packages, plant stakes, and labels.

Primary Objective: Complete whatever tasks are required to ensure plant health and facility sanitation/cleanliness.
*This position is not responsible for supervising other team members.
Essential Functions:
· Assist in the care and support of plant cultivation, abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
· Clean and sanitize all areas of all stages of cultivation production including but not limited to plant gutters, greenhouse flooring, and associated equipment.
· Maintain communication with other departments, and management.
· Vacuum, sweep, and mop facility floors as required.
· Assist cultivation team in completing tasks, including, but not limited to scouting for pests, cloning, planting, watering, pruning, logging, harvesting, disposal of plant debris, and bucking.
· Ensure all equipment is clean, sanitized, and ready for use in accordance with company requirements.
· Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles, as necessary.
· Identify and report building maintenance and repairs.
· Spot and report to cultivation manager any plant pests and other potential issues immediately before they become a problem for general plant health.
· Maintain proper documentation in all formats of record keeping and logging.
· Understand and follow all safety protocols.
· Ensure appropriate operating procedures are followed.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Work with other cultivation team members to ensure all assigned tasks are complete
· Assists the leadership team daily to ensure that whatever needs to be done is completed in a timely and efficient manner
· Utilize overtime hours as requested to complete daily and weekly tasks.
· Performs other duties as assigned to assist Holy City Farms’ daily operations.
Physical Demands:
· Be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds
· Walk or stand for extended periods of time, as well as stoop, bend and/or crouch to work.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Greenhouse Cultivation Technician provides manual labor to support the operations within the Cultivation department while abiding by the laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. This role will consist of working outdoors in a greenhouse-like atmosphere.

ROLE SUMMARY
A Greenhouse Cultivation Technician is a critical component of the grow team whose goal is to consistently produce high quality plants that meet company standards and while following all compliance requirements. The Greenhouse Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care and maintenance from propagation through flowering stages including, but not limited to; cloning, transplanting, feeding, trellising, flushing, pruning, general canopy work and under the supervision of the Greenhouse Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- With direction from supervisor perform crop work and canopy maintenance, as directed.
- Responsible for the vitality and health of the plants from propagation through flower up to harvest.
- Cloning, pruning, transplanting, feeding and labeling.
- Work daily to maintain a disease and pest-free environment.
- Ensure daily task list is completed and tracked per management instructions.
- Proper communication, via emails, text, of phone call with the proper channels to ensure matters are caught early and addressed.
- Maintain a continuous focus on safety, injury prevention in all aspects of production work.
- Motivate and encourage through positive communication and feedback.
- Help maintain effective working relationships with teams across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 to 3 years nursery experience, a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a greenhouse environment, which means employee will need to be able to work year round in the seasonal Florida temperatures. This role routinely uses cultivation processing equipment and occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The company will ask you to help out in other departments depending on company needs. This means that you may not always work in the department that you were hired, teamwork and getting product out to patients is the goal and this means helping out where you are needed is crucial to your success as well as the company’s success.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. Cultivation Technician
- Handle day-to-day plant maintenance and cleaning at grow facility.
- Assists growers with specific tasks including, but not limited to, scouting for pests, harvesting crop, and bucking harvest.

- Work in greenhouse environments that may exceed 90℉ and have high humidity for a portion of the year.

This job is in a licensed cannabis greenhouse facility in Moffat Colorado; 46 miles from Salida and 37 miles from Alamosa
Cultivation Technician II are responsible for all hands-on cultivation maintenance, cleaning and sanitation activities. Cultivation Technician II reports directly to the Cultivation Lead.
The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; works independently, and prioritizes quality and customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct operations in professional manner to ensure State Compliance Laws are upheld.
- Perform all assigned tasks in the grow.
- Maintain and follow company and cultivation department policies and procedures.
· Follow plant scheduling and organization to help cultivation manager precisely project all plant needs.
· Follow all issued cultivation SOPs accurately.
· Fill out all forms and logs associated with cultivation responsibilities.
· Cataloguing and maintaining organization of plants from clone-to-harvest using our logging system.
- Work within the company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Must manage their time during work efficiently to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, initiative and quality of work.
- Daily reports + noting agendas and planning priorities.
· Fill out all logs consistently and accurately.

Cultivation Technician II are responsible for all hands-on cultivation maintenance, cleaning and sanitation activities. Cultivation Technician II reports directly to the Cultivation Lead.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Farm Coordinator in the production of high quality field and greenhouse grown vegetables to the standards and expectations established by the Research, Foundation and Stock Seed, and Production teams, both internally and externally, with contracted growers. In this position, the individual will conduct activities which promote uniform and consistent plant growth in field and greenhouse growing environments, and promote uniformity and genetic integrity of parent and hybrid seed. This position will also assist the Head Technician and Plant Breeders with all greenhouse and field work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greenhouse management (50%)
- Provide assistance to Farm Coordinator in conducting day to day activities including, raising and transplanting the seedlings in greenhouse and open field, maintaining them for a healthy uniform growth with proper and timely weeding, fertilization, irrigation, fungicide and pesticide applications etc, according to the instructions of the Farm Coordinator.
- Assist with chemical sprays for the conversion of cucumber parent lines from Gynoecious to Monoecious, and Monoecious to Gynoecious.
- As and when desired by the Farm Coordinator, provide support to carryout various activities for Stock Seed (SS) production in greenhouse and open field.
- Provide assistance in any other growing and farming activities desired by the Farm Coordinator not mentioned above.
- Assist in harvesting, deseeding and other post-harvest activities for stock seed and production activities, including cleaning the seed extraction machines between seed lots.
- Help maintain drip irrigation system in the field and greenhouses, at the direction of the Farm Coordinator.
- Drive company vehicle to transport contract labor, portable bathrooms, and shade trailers
Breeding assistance (50%)
- Sow research trials, crossing blocks, seed increases
- Help grow seedlings: monitoring germination, thinning flats, watering and fertilizing flats, hardening off flats, advising breeders of pest problems
- Assist with transplanting seedlings to the greenhouse and field
- Prune and tie all plants in the greenhouse and indeterminate tomatoes in the field
- Cover peppers in the open field to protect them from cross pollination
- Harvest self-pollinated and cross-pollinated fruit in the greenhouse
- Harvest selections, foundation seed, and some stock seed increases in the field
- Extract, wash, disinfect, dry, and package seed from all harvested fruit of all species, including fruit of crossing blocks, foundation and stock seed increases
- Help monitor supplies of soil mix, fertilizer, seed disinfectants, bags, stakes, and other greenhouse and seed washing and treatment supplies.
- Help in the germination and tomato quality lab as needed

As a Greenhouse Technician with Curaleaf you are responsible for performing manual labor to assist with the upkeep, stocking and fulfillment of growing medicinal cannabis.
