This position is located in Moffat, CO, between Salida and Alamosa.
Trimmers are primarily responsible for trimming of marijuana in preparation for sale. Trimmersreport directly to the Trimmer Lead.The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail ina fast-paced environment; works independently, and prioritizes quality and customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Become familiar with all in-house strains enough to identify flowers by smell and
appearance only.
- Support cultivation leads with harvest, plant maintenance tasks, and cleaning, when
needed.

- Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of
operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Management, Budgeting & Reporting:

- People Management:
- Work with COO to develop personal development programs and plans for management and employees and to develop and implement incentive programs to increase performance and efficiencies.
- Develop an effective safety culture that proactively deals with safety risk in the workplace
- Manage cultivation staff, including, but not limited to: scheduling, daily task assignments, training, discipline or advancement
- Compliance:
- Ensure SOPs are established, approved, and followed in daily processes and that all cultivation related standard operating procedures are followed, including inventory management, security and cleanliness SOPs.
- Ensure legal compliance of cultivation procedures by remaining current on all laws and regulations associated with cannabis operations in California.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
The candidate must have
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- 5+ years managing a large scale greenhouse or cultivation operations.
- Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Experience developing and enforcing SOP's for implementation in new and existing cultivation facilities

This job is in a licensed cannabis greenhouse facility in Moffat; 46 miles from Salida and 37 miles from Alamosa.
Cultivation Technician I are responsible for trimming activities ad described in the Trimmer Job description, light cultivation maintenance/support and cleaning and sanitation activities. Cultivation Technician I reports directly to the Cultivation and Trimmer Leads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct operations in professional manner to ensure State Compliance Laws are upheld.
- Perform all assigned tasks in the grow.
- Maintain and follow company and cultivation department policies and procedures.
· Follow plant scheduling and organization to help cultivation manager precisely project all plant needs.
· Fill out all forms and logs associated with cultivation responsibilities consistently, honestly, and accurately.
- Work within the company’s continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, initiative, and quality of work.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease.

- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the trimming areas.
- Responsible for maintaining quality product.
