The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for incoming and outgoing packages within Driven Grow. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Verify Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new product being received and forward for safety compliance.

· Prepare and package outgoing shipments, determine best method of shipping, create shipment labels and schedule pickup/drop off. Turn invoices into Inventory Manager.
· When shipping marijuana product, follow order processing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
· Package marketing materials to be sent with orders and label individual items that have special circumstances such as vendor days and samples.
· Return order sheets for processing into ERP system for invoicing and manifesting.
· Assist transport companies with verification of tag numbers, product descriptions, dates, weights, and destinations. Rectify any manifest discrepancies at pickup.
· Perform weekly counts of packaging inventory and coordinate with Sales and Inventory Manager on levels, needs, surplus, and upcoming projects.
· Research and implement methods of improving efficiency within inventory storage.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Technician/Driver (S&R Tech) is a critical part of the Conception Nurseries Business Operations team. POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Technician/Driver (S&R Tech) is a critical part of the Conception Nurseries Business Operations team. Do you have what it takes?
We’re ideally looking for a teammate with some relevant work experience in warehouse, distribution, and/or manufacturing operations. JOB SUMMARY
Redbud Roots is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Technician for our growing team. This position may perform a multitude of duties which include the following: organizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to another. Monitoring company packages from start to finish and ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practices. Monitoring bio-mass waste and trash removal in accordance with State licensing requirements. This person must become very knowledgeable about our shipping process and act quickly and efficiently in accordance with such directives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving personnel are responsible for keeping records of all products received and shipped with in the company.
- Packing goods in shipping containers outbound for other departments, develop mailing labels and shipping documents and ensure that all orders are correctly filled.
- Receiving, tracking, and delivering orders to all our locations in a timely manner.
- Computing cost of freight, putting together invoices and verifying product shipment.
- The use of radio frequency identification (RFI) equipment to scan barcodes for inventory control.
- Operating equipment such as counterbalance forklift, narrow isle standup forklift and pallet jack.
- Stacking and unstacking pallets in correct locations.
- Monitoring and processing secured biomass and trash disposal.
- Forklift training instructor and record completed certificates.
- Monitoring and maintaining propane tanks and lock cages at all locations.
- Cleaning and sanitizing transport bays, forklifts, golfcarts, and storage areas.
- Maintain and conduct preventative maintenance on shipping and receiving equipment.
- Upkeep records and invoices for forklifts, floor scrubbers, golf carts and personal lifts.
- Monitoring packaging area and keeping it filled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experiences:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- General maintenance skills required.
- Excellent organization and administrative skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, etc.
- Must have a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively communicate between departments and buildings.
- Candidates must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work well on a team as well as independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the facility.
- Must be able to lift -up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to perform in a warehouse setting as well as a variety of weather conditions.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for inventory control of regulated product at the central Distribution Center. This role supports the retail locations with receiving backstock orders, preparing transfers of backstock products to other locations, and performing audits of products on hand to ensure inventory accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming shipments with accuracy by matching shipments to manifests or packing slips
- Ensure all paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments is accurate and compliant
- Maintain accurate inventory in METRC and Flowhub P.O.S.
- Report and investigate product discrepancies in inventory
- Track, trace, and update status of incoming shipments
- Promptly load and unload deliveries, sort, and stock receivables
- Provide backup support of the company supply chain
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with drivers, vendors, and internal customers
- Ability to remain flexible and willing to help with other projects/duties as assigned
- Ensures industry regulations and compliance standards are being always followed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills)

Job Description:
The Shipping And Receiving Clerk performs daily delivery, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving, and shipment duties of component boxes and materials. Conducts scheduling of orders, ensures accuracy of packaging products, and scans bar codes within the ERP system. Works with other employees and departments to resolve shipping and receiving matters.
Responsibilities:
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
- Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
- Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
- Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list.

Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk (SRC) is primarily responsible for protecting company assets by maintaining vault security and ensuring the accuracy of inventory kept in the vault by managing the physical and virtual movement of items. The SRC performs shipping and receiving, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with Metrc and NAV, and verifying invoice accuracy for every shipment of both regulated products and unregulated products. The SRC is responsible for physically securing products prior to transport and performing loss prevention activities by monitoring access to the vault and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The SRC is a member of the S-type Logistics staff.

- Responsible for physically organizing inventory in designated areas in vault, on labeled shelves and in numerical order
- Responsible for physically receiving incoming inventory and verifying accuracy (batching, weight, and name) and for performing initial quality assurance checks upon receipt
- Packages and labels bulk products for all outgoing shipments and vendor orders, including verifying accuracy of physical count/weight and all other order details
- Creates or verifies accuracy of Metrc and NAV manifests to account for all outgoing and incoming shipments, including combining batches and monitoring RFID tracking throughout the manufacturing and distribution process
- Controls and releases inventory to transport staff for distribution to retail locations or wholesale clients
- Responsible for selecting samples or coordinating with MED-approved sampler for potency and contaminant testing and maintaining product during holding period while awaiting testing results
- Physically maintains the security and integrity of the vault, including limiting access to approved staff only
- Checks Metrc daily for released inventory after testing completion and moves inventory to the proper designated storage area for tested products
- Coordinates with managers and production/cultivation staff to maintain par levels of finished and raw products by reporting low inventory levels
- Responsible for coordinating with compliance team, managers, and lead associates to address quality assurance/compliance concerns
- Responsible for packaging and labeling bulk products with Package Tag/Batch #, Strain Name, Weight, Ingredients, and Potency Test Results to fill distribution orders
- Reports inventory totals to management to determine distribution needs for each retail location
- Stages outgoing orders in distribution cage for pick-up
- Responsible for differentiating manifest type for each outgoing shipment, including transfer, wholesale, or infused transfer
- Adapts to a variety of working environments, including offices and manufacturing and cultivation facilities, and is able to interact professionally with a range of employees and the public
- Responsible for reading and understanding all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures and documentation
