About This Role

Job Overview
The production team member position at Stoner&Co is a vital role. Production team members are responsible for preparing harvested cannabis for sale and consumption. Production team members handle cannabis in multiple forms, from whole-flower and pre-rolls to concentrates and edibles. Production team members are responsible for making sure that Stoner&Co. products meet company and legal standards, and are ready to be purchased by patients. The production team works closely with the garden team and the front of house team to ensure that cannabis flows appropriately through the organization, from seed to sale.
Production team members report directly to the production manager, and work as a team to trim, weigh, prepare and package cannabis products. Production team members are also responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate weights as they work with flower products, in compliance with Maine State law and METRC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY
Production Packaging Team Members demonstrate proficiency, organization, awareness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team while prioritizing quality standards. Packagers are primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the processing of the products derived from the marijuana plant in preparation for sale. Packaging of products includes, but is not limited to concentrates and extracts, edibles, and topicals and should always be processed according to compliance standards established by appropriate state regulated entities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Measuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed including bottling, filling, sealing, labeling, etc.
- Weighing and measuring product with accuracy.
- Maintain product inventory, production supplies, and equipment needs.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks.
- Maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Safely transport products from workspace to storage area.
- Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance.
- Follow all relevant state regulations on cannabis packaging and handling.
- Report for work on all assigned workdays and report on time with a positive attendance record.
- Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The General Production Team Member will be responsible for helping production and general labor of our Cultivation facilities by performing duties assigned by local operations and cultivation leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trim and process plants according to SOP’s, examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Neatly package, seal, fill and label a varied array of bulk products
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with SOP and QA sanitation standards, keep floor clear of debris and spills
- Follow approved procedures for receiving, preparing, storing, arranging, and manicuring product to ensure quality, accuracy and product rotation and protection
- Handle damaged and waste products per company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods
- Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department; report any equipment problems immediately
- Maintain accurate records of work performed daily using company provided tablets
- General labor throughout the facility as needed (clean up, light maintenance, etc)
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 21 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass a 10-year criminal background check
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for duration of shift
- Must be able to work with delicate precision and strong attention to detail
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet minimum quality and production metrics
- Must be service oriented and have the ability to take initiative with little direction or supervision
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 or more pounds
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance

This will be a full-time position and we are looking for candidates that want to grow along with our company. Our facility is located in SE Portland.**Hours will be Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. Pay starts at $15/hr.**Responsibilities and Duties:
- All aspects of production work, primarily making edible confections
- Scaling and mixing ingredients to precise measurements
- Following established production procedures, including associated paperwork
- Preparing production areas for daily use before production begins for the day
- End of day clean-up, including dishwashing, mopping and reorganization of materials
- Assisting in other departments as needed, such as packaging
**Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6+ months experience in production required
- Happy to undertake repetitive tasks with a professional and positive attitude
- Able to take direction and be mentored to succeed in role
- Knowledge of general food safety practices and requirements
- Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking
- Competent in basic math
- Ability to work in groups and independently as needed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal communication
- Able to display excellent time management skills
- Valid OLCC permit and 21+ years of age

- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with SOP and QA sanitation standards, keep floor clear of debris and spills
- Clean the grow rooms including floors and walls

- Must be able to work with bleach and isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)
- Must be able to work with delicate precision and strong attention to detail

- Dress and groom per company policy including hair restraint requirements
- Must be service oriented and have the ability to take initiative with little direction or supervision
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 or more pounds
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance
