The Lead Cultivator will maintain records of harvests and orchestrate daily tasks within the cultivation department to maintain the standard production schedule as prescribed by the Cultivation Director.
The Lead Cultivator will be directly accountable to the Director of Operations for the performance of all job duties and responsibilities related to this position.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and perform standard cannabis cultivation tasks such as watering, pruning, transplanting, organizing plants, preparing grow media, cleaning cultivation areas, and general maintenance.
- Monitor and report on irrigation, HVAC, lighting, CO2, and air circulation equipment functionality.
- Perform daily inspections of each flowering zone and of drying material. Maintain a record of these inspections and report conditions to the Director of Cultivation.
- Maintain Bio Track records of all activities including, but not limited to: plant moves, harvest, post-harvest processing, and waste production and disposal.
- Maintain the correct level of foliage and ensure adequate airflow by removing leaves strategically daily.
- Oversee harvest activities including defoliation, trimming, bud removal, drying, grinding, cleaning, and waste removal.
- Ensure that Cultivation Assistants are assigned tasks where they achieve the highest possible level of efficacy and maximum productivity.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with Oklahoma State Regulations, ensuring that waste has been denaturized before leaving the premises and that proper record keeping has occurred.
- Participate in training sessions, or attend conferences designed to either improve your skills or your understanding of the regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure a contamination free cultivation area.
o Supervisory Responsibilities- This position has supervisory responsibilities overseeing Cultivation Assistants who are responsible for the health of all plants within their department. They are also responsible for ensuring that all tasks within their department are completed on schedule and may be required to be on call during nights, holidays, and weekends to provide assistance in the event of an emergency.
- This is a manual labor position which requires heavy lifting, and which involves repetitive tasks. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours will apply regardless of day or season.
- Travel for educational purposes may be required as a part of this position.

Established Medical Cannabis business is seeking a new Lead Cultivator for a small medical cultivation facility.

- Horticulture degree or commensurate medical cannabis experience
- 2+ years minimum of CEA greenhouse management of at least 10,000 square feet of flowering canopy
- Working knowledge of and experience with Wadsworth Greenhouse Control systems

Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust the CEA greenhouse Wadsworth Controls at the direction of the Cultivation Manager
- Review data to make sure environment and grow conditions are stable from season-to-season, and make adjustments under the direction of the Cultivation Manager
- Facilitate communication throughout the Cultivation Department to create a smooth workflow through all phases of growth
- Day-to-day management of the Cultivation production areas (Propagation, Veg, Flower, Mother Room)
- Ensuring adherence to the Production Schedule
- Monitoring pH and EC readings taken by Leads
- Making necessary fertigation adjustments at the direction of the Cultivation Manager
- Monitoring of water quality and media
- Regular sampling of both
- Assist with training of cultivation staff
- Regular monitoring and maintenance of equipment in coordination with our Facilities Department

Lead Cultivator
We are a newly initiated Cannabis Company seeking a full time Lead Cultivator to develop our new cultivation campus in MI. The Lead Cultivator will advise on the design and construction of the outdoor/indoor cultivation facility and manage day to day operations, in a commercial cannabis cultivation operation. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years’ experience working in a commercial cultivation facility with at least 4 years management and cultivation experience. The chosen candidate will be responsible for all aspects of cultivation from propagation to delivery. This opportunity allows the individual to be impactful from the ground up in this newly established company.
Responsibilities for this position include:
· Direct and oversee employee activities for all operations including propagation, planting, cultivating, irrigation, harvesting, product processing, production and record keeping.
· Ensure adherence to compliance and safety regulations according to company standards, which need to be created from the ground up.
· Plan and direct operations for optimum success and maximum crop production
