JOB SUMMARY

Role Summary:
The Post-Harvest Lead will direct workflow and lead others in a positive productive manner. The ideal candidate for this position is equally comfortable directing others and carrying out tasks themselves. This role is responsible for overseeing 15-20 employees and controls the workflow of Dry, Cure, and Trimming in a fast-paced environment. They will work with the Post-Harvest Manager to inspect product during drying and bucking for quality defects to ensure the procedures are being followed and meet specific requirements set forth by Company guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to the company’s Uniform and Attendance policies.
Ensure that all employees receive proper training for the task at hand and the tasks are being completed according to the SOP’s. Any questions that the employees have regarding task should be directed to you.
Working with the department Manager and dry tech employees to accomplish daily tasks.
Perform daily team meetings with your Team to go over the tasks for the day.
Ensure that the work area is kept clean on a daily basis
Complete daily room assessments to ensure product quality.
Keep track of supply inventory. Make sure to fill out an order form every week.
Reporting to Management on a regular basis with updates, problems, or comments. Always respond to Manager’s emails unless specified otherwise.

Legacy Grown cannabis cultivation facility is currently seeking a full-time Post-Harvest Production Lead to join our crew!
The Post-Harvest Production Lead is responsible for maintaining quality control and packaging of cannabis product once harvest is completed, management of compliant test sampling procedures, accuracy of inventory, preparation of product for transport, and assists the cultivation team with METRC administrative support.
The right candidate will have some METRC experience.
- Experience with cannabis test batch collection, highly preferred
- Experience with cannabis test validation process, highly preferred
- Previous compliance experience, highly preferred
Essential Functions:
- Breaks down cured batches into multiple different weight increments and package them accordingly; adhering to owner and retail requested ratios.
- Packages products without degrading the quality, weighing it on a state certified scale to an exact weight and placing the product in the bag without damaging it.
- Analyzes potential problems with a plant or the product being processed/packed.
- Identifies problems with batches that may have been overlooked and brings these issues to their supervisors’ attention.
- Prints labels for each package and attaches them to the bag.
- Adapts to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are packaging; making quality control decisions as necessary.
- Prepares packaging, paperwork, and labeling for sugar trim and fresh frozen harvest batches; participates in sugar trim and fresh frozen harvest process; coordinates sugar trim and fresh frozen harvest pick-up with corresponding clients and businesses.
- Researches, evaluates and adapts to new methods, in order to meet or exceed goals, as well as quality of finished product, and usable by-product.
- Accurately enters strain, batch, package ID, weight increment and quantity information into tracking system, with minimal errors.
- Works closely with supervisors to maintain weekly inventory of packaged product and on-hand trim in the department.
- Responsible for maintaining testing validation requirements & schedule. Maintain all testing records as required by the sampling procedure. Maintain potency, Microbial, contaminant, pesticide & water activity testing as required by regulations.
- Identify retail needs based on store inventory levels and prioritize packaging based on the warehouse's current cured inventory. This includes communicating with stores through phone or email.
- Ensures accuracy of manifested product from licensed facility.
- Delivers product to retail locations. Delivers and picks up test samples, various supplies, and laundry as requested per supervisor.
- Assist the trim crew by; Creating a spreadsheet for the day of the harvest & enter all waste into METRC when needed
- Manages their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality products.
- Exhibits trustworthiness, caution, and reliability with delivery of product to store in regards to personal safety, as well as product safety.
- Follows the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with Legacy Grown and its clients’ mission, vision, goals, and objectives in all areas of their work.

Role Summary:
The Post-Harvest Lead will direct workflow and lead others in a positive productive manner. The ideal candidate for this position is equally comfortable directing others and carrying out tasks themselves. This role is responsible for overseeing 15-20 employees and controls the workflow of Dry, Cure, and Trimming in a fast-paced environment. They will work with the Post-Harvest Manager to inspect product during drying and bucking for quality defects to ensure the procedures are being followed and meet specific requirements set forth by Company guidelines.

Perform daily team meetings with your Team to go over the tasks for the day.
Ensure that the work area is kept clean on a daily basis
Complete daily room assessments to ensure product quality.
Keep track of supply inventory. Make sure to fill out an order form every week.
Reporting to Management on a regular basis with updates, problems, or comments. Always respond to Manager’s emails unless specified otherwise.

Job Description:
The Post-Harvest Lead reports directly to the Director of Processing and is responsible for supervising Post-Harvest Technicians as well as performance of daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility.

Job Description:
The Post-Harvest Lead reports directly to the Director of Processing and is responsible for supervising Post-Harvest Technicians as well as performance of daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility.

Role Summary:
The Post Harvest Team Lead will help direct workflow and lead others in a positive productive manner. The ideal candidate for this position is equally comfortable directing others and carrying out tasks themselves. This role is responsible for assisting the Post Harvest Lead oversee 15-30 employees and controls workflow of harvest in a fast-paced environment. He/she will work with the growers to inspect product during harvest for quality defects to ensure the procedures are being followed and meet specific requirements set forth by the master grower.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Trans all employees and offer proper harvest techniques, advice or assistance daily
- Candidate should be able to efficiently assist in supervising a group of 15-30 people
- Directs the team in carrying out procedures and schedules
- Diagnose plant health, deficiencies, pests, and other issues while coming up with the best solution to harvesting product

Role Summary:
The Cure Lead will ensure that daily functions of the department are being performed correctly and efficiently while confirming accuracy and quality throughout the Curing process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify that all employees are aware and adhere to the company's Uniform and Attendance policies.
- Ensure that all employees receive proper training for the task at hand and the tasks are being completed according to the SOP's. Any questions that the Cure Technicians have regarding task should be directed to you.
- Perform daily team meeting with your group to go over the tasks for the day.
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean on a daily basis
- Reporting any issues or updates on a daily basis directly to Cure Manager
- Complete intake forms pertaining to incoming deliveries throughout the day from various departments and sites

- Verify that all flower transfers are properly executed per week, and that each flower batch is transferred to the appropriate pipeline and destination in a timely manner

- Ensure that all necessary sample testing is conducted daily, while also verifying that transport delivers testing samples to internal Lab

The Post Harvest Team Lead will direct workflow and lead others in a positive productive manner. The ideal candidate for this position is equally comfortable directing others and carrying out tasks themselves. About This Role

Responsibilities

· Assign work schedules and duties to processing staff for Trim and Packaging, and supervise their work
· Responsible for trimming, weighing, packaging, and collecting data for harvested plants
· Lead daily Packaging, Trim and Automation room kick-off meeting, maintain Production Control Boards and Inventory Board
· Directly responsible for all stages of packaging, automated packaging, and trimming
· Directly responsible for providing accurate and timely information to Post Harvest Captain relating to weights, measures, quantities, etc.
· Directly responsible for all stages of trimming through the transfer to the Quarantine Room
· Identify and communicate problems such as mold, diseases, insects, etc. that may have a negative impact quality
· Oversee daily and weekly cleaning assignments
· Assure sanitation standards are followed with respect to process equipment maintenance and finished goods production equipment (i.e., auto-trimmer, Pre-roll, extraction, etc.)
· Be able to see and mitigate Waste / Product and Process Defects – considering a wide variety of defects such as plant disease, bad insects, poor product quality, etc.
· Accountable for quality control checks (Leader Standard Work) to ensure process and product quality in line with company standards and assure Citizens maintain a clean and tidy workspace (5-S Standard)
· Collaborate with all Citizens in improving daily tasks, assure proper training, and provide process audits with a passion for Continuous Improvement.
· Communicate with clarity and consistency to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere.

The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:
· Degree in Horticulture, Biology, Agriculture, or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience in agricultural or food safety/handling industry is acceptable in lieu of degree.
· Knowledge of basic MS Office and METRC. LeafLogix is a plus.
· Efficient cultivation/production work ethic with application of Lean tools.
· Knowledge in areas listed dependent on where you will work: Plant diseases, insects and fungi, fertigation, plant treatment processes, cannabis finished goods product manufacturing, and extraction equipment.
· Must be a proactive Leader, able to influence others in a professional and courteous manner, encourage Lean Thinking and Continuous Improvement
· Must have strong attention to detail and hold themselves and others accountable to Standards of Work. Solid communication and documentation skills.

Job Description:
The Post-Harvest Lead reports directly to the Director of Processing and is responsible for supervising Post-Harvest Technicians as well as performance of daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise Post-Harvest Technicians in daily work assignments and ensure all processes and procedures are followed as outlined and instructed by the Post-Harvest Manager
- Ensure proper harvesting, destemming, trimming, and batching of cannabis flower and plant material, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies and procedures
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities with Post-Harvest Manager
- Manage digital inventory in Seed-to-Sale (METRC) system and ensure physical inventory and digital inventory are accurate and in compliance with any and all regulatory requirements
- Assist in training new employees in the Packaging Department on existing processes and procedures
- Ensure and maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization in Post-Harvest spaces per standard operating procedures
- Observing all required PPE requirements while trimming cannabis
- Effectively trim cannabis flower
- Maintaining accurate trim logs
- Maintaining accurate weight logs
- Responsible for maintaining quality products.
- Sorting and maintaining harvest batch differentiation by both strain and phenotype
- Handling, transporting, and disposing of waste materials and accurately documenting all waste
- Assisting with any other tasks or responsibilities that are assigned by the Post-Harvest Manager
Minimal Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a license state agent
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Able to work 8 hours a day and rotating weekend shifts.
- Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds.

Role:
The Lead Inventory Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day inventory management for the retail facility, ensuring proper inventory levels are always maintained. The Lead Inventory Clerk position is responsible for the direct oversight of all inventory cycle counting, verification of required documentation and product counts for intake by conducting daily audits of inventory, tracking and distribution of product. Responsibilities also include accounting and reporting inventory surplus, product returns, waste, damages, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and procedures. This role also manages the menu for the location, focusing on the most accurate and up to date information to be provided to our patients. The Lead Inventory Clerk will be responsible for hiring, training and maintaining the inventory staff.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; track orders and paperwork.
- Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Ensure day-to-day operations run smooth throughout the dispensary.
- Work with regional team and corporate to create strategic objectives, operational plans and store goals.
- Ensure all inventory operations are in compliance at all times.
- Maintain education and knowledge of all state and local cannabis laws and regulations.
- Inform staff of all new products.
- Complete and analyze fixed asset inventories.
- Approve and adjust inventory settings as needed.
- Ensure all inventory is properly catalogued.

JOB SUMMARY*
The Post-Harvest Lead will have knowledge of the entire growing process, supervising the harvest associates, and overseeing the entire harvesting process.

Job Description
The Post-Harvest Lead position leads, plans and carries out harvest, drying, trimming and packaging activities. Leads a team of Trimmers to carry out the cultivation trimming plan. Leads a team of packagers to carry out the cultivation packaging plan. The Post-Harvest Lead also coordinates sales orders and internal transfers. They must maintain the quality and cleanliness standards set forth by the Director of Cultivation. Attention to detail is extremely important as is record keeping. The ideal candidate will excel as a leader and team member within a tightly controlled, state regulated system and timelines.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the harvest, drying, trimming, and packaging operations
- Training team members on standard operating procedures
- Evaluate and make recommendations to change current procedures if necessary, to uphold the mandate for AMA to produce high-quality flower
- Work with the Director of Cultivation to establish quality standards for finished product, and continually monitor those standards
- Lead the set-up of work areas you oversee, including purchasing supplies and equipment necessary for operation
- Perform METRC conversions from harvest through the entire sales process
- Schedule and prepare lab testing samples to be analyzed
- Ordering packaging components and keeping an accurate inventory
- Printing all necessary labels for cultivation and post-harvest
- Manage finished product inventory using METRC
- Collect and report operations data to continually improve processes
- Perform other tasks, projects and responsibilities as determined by Company management.

Post-Harvest Lead
Position Description
Reports to (Chain of Command): Post Harvest Manager, Director of Operations, Assistant Director of Operations, and Master Grower
Position Level: 2
Summary of Position: The Post-Harvest Lead is assigned to oversee the daily functionality of the department, to ensure all policies and procedures are followed, and to provide the best quality medicine for the patients of New Mexico. The Post-Harvest Lead is expected to perform all the functions of a Post-Harvest Tech according to the organizational needs, including for training purposes. This position also requires personnel management, including scheduling breaks/lunch, employee reviews, and disciplinary actions. This is a full-time (35+ hours per week) hourly position, with a 60-day introductory period. The Post-Harvest Lead is expected to follow the guidelines of the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act, and all applicable company policies and procedures. The Post-Harvest Lead works with the Post-Harvest and Production Techs and the Post-Harvest Manager to complete the R. Greenleaf Mission; to provide safe access to affordable, medical-grade cannabis to the qualified patients of New Mexico.
Qualifications:
- 1+ Year(s) Harvesting Experience preferred
- 1+ Year(s) Trimming Experience preferred
- 1+ Year(s) Management Experience preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reliable source of transportation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Basic data entry knowledge, Office’s Excel and Word proficiency preferred
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities, including the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
- Valid identification or driver’s license
- Clean driving record preferred
- Passing grades on both HIPAA exams and all applicable organizational competency exam
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
