Job Description
The Post-Harvest Lead position leads, plans and carries out harvest, drying, trimming and packaging activities. Leads a team of Trimmers to carry out the cultivation trimming plan. Leads a team of packagers to carry out the cultivation packaging plan. The Post-Harvest Lead also coordinates sales orders and internal transfers. They must maintain the quality and cleanliness standards set forth by the Director of Cultivation. Attention to detail is extremely important as is record keeping. The ideal candidate will excel as a leader and team member within a tightly controlled, state regulated system and timelines.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the harvest, drying, trimming, and packaging operations
- Training team members on standard operating procedures
- Evaluate and make recommendations to change current procedures if necessary, to uphold the mandate for AMA to produce high-quality flower
- Work with the Director of Cultivation to establish quality standards for finished product, and continually monitor those standards
- Lead the set-up of work areas you oversee, including purchasing supplies and equipment necessary for operation
- Perform METRC conversions from harvest through the entire sales process
- Schedule and prepare lab testing samples to be analyzed
- Ordering packaging components and keeping an accurate inventory
- Printing all necessary labels for cultivation and post-harvest
- Manage finished product inventory using METRC
- Collect and report operations data to continually improve processes
- Perform other tasks, projects and responsibilities as determined by Company management.

Job Description
The Cultivation Technician I position is an entry position into the Cultivation Team. The Cultivation Technician I assist with cultivation activities alongside eth rest of the Cultivation Team. This position will be trained by the Cultivation Lead. Follows the Cultivation Lead to carry out the production plan and the upkeep, pruning, washing, cloning, and transplanting under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Cultivation. Attention to detail is extremely important as is record keeping. The ideal candidate will excel as a leader and team member within a tightly controlled, state regulated system and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Cutting propagation, transplanting, moving plants, watering, applications, sanitation
- General maintenance duties in nursery
- Knowledge of growing techniques, including; germination, cloning, and transplantation
- Maintains keen eyes for spotting issues before they become a problem by identifying plants pests, diseases and other perils by communicating plant issues to the Cultivation Team
- Follow clean protocols in accordance with Cultivation Managers instructions
- Follow cannabis cultivation protocols and follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)
- Proficient with Google Docs and/or Microsoft Office products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ability to execute techniques consistently
- Strives to maintain the 4 HP work environment principles. HAPPY, HARMONIOUS, HEALTHY and HIGHTLY PRODUCTIVE
- Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment

- Prepares work to be accomplished by following department standard operating procedures, daily strains processing and adhering to established checklist and Standard Operating Procedures
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; informing management of equipment issues
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Observe the trimming staff on the trimming best practices to be applied as needed
- Application of trimming techniques, including; manual, scissors, and stripping
