Responsibilities

• Assist in packaging and labeling a variety of confections which may include hand packaging or assisting in operating light machinery

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Responsible for daily production of handmade hard candies, caramels, and other sweet confections.
• Maintain the quality and consistency of our chocolate and confectionary products with a considered purpose and a strong attention to detail.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with supervisors and uphold brand standards to deliver consistent products.
• Available to work a set schedule based on the daily production schedule. The schedule may include early mornings, nights, and weekends that rotates on a need be basis.
• Assists in packaging products for retailers and consumers.

Necessary Qualifications and Experience

• One (1) year of experience in similar position, ideally in high volume production kitchens with technical skills in Candy and/or Chocolate making from-scratch products
• Must have WA Food Handler’s Card or ability to attain within first week of schedule
• A flexible schedule of availability
• Culinary Degree or Culinary studies a plus, but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

The employee will be expected to work inside in a controlled warehouse/Cultivation and growing atmosphere and must have suitable clothing. In addition, employees are required to follow GMP and Quality standards in terms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, beard nets, respirators, shoe covers, lab coats, etc. as required.

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are:
