JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory/Retail Specialist position will be responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory records in compliance with State regulations in order to efficiently support the supply and demand of the retail operations. The Inventory/Retail Specialist will also maintain the retail sales floors product merchandising, ensuring an appealing, organized and efficient retail environment, while promoting exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Inventory
- Coordinates receiving, transfer and/or movement of all products within the retail store.
- Enters product received into inventory tracking software in a timely manner.
- Ensure product matches manifest description.
- Maintain a database with SKU/UPC numbers; ensure all reconciliation is regularly completed including matching physical inventory to METRC inventory.
- Completes periodic and random audits for internal and state compliance.
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly store inventory cycle count and inventory reconciliation.
- Researches and reports to management inventory discrepancies, including but not limited to, out of balance circumstances, lost or missing inventory, or inventory adjustments.
- Maintain active knowledge of incoming inventory and inventory levels on hand.
- Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify Management when material has expired or is damaged.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage area for efficient material storage and handling.
- Provide hands-on employee training of inventory tracking system and inventory procedures, including but limited to, store SOP's for intake, packaging, labeling and inventory tracking.
- Maintain compliance with local and state regulations, company policies and SOPs.
- May fulfill sales orders on an as needed basis.
Retail Floor
- Arranges retail displays for cannabis and non-cannabis merchandise.
- Keeps retail displays and floor organized and stocked in order to create a pleasant and welcoming environment.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Requires experience with POS and inventory tracking systems.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for re-stocking, putting out new batches and splitting product to ensure correct compliance between our med and rec licenses. . In addition, this person would be involved in completing periodic & monthly audits for internal and state compliance purposes'. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the post-production/shipment handling of all Pre-packaged Cannabis Products. Essential Job Functions
- Maintain Store Menu and Product Testing Accuracy
- Intake Product Shipments form our vendors and enter them into METRC
- Counting, sorting, labeling, and handling of cannabis products such as flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, etc. for recreational sale (this also includes glass & accessories)
- Create and apply labeling in accordance with product information, testing results, and other required information
- Maintain forms and database to precisely record weight, product count, and any relevant issues for all products

- Accurately measure, count, and handle products into containers
- Thoroughly clean the containers, materials, supplies, and work areas, using cleaning solutions in accordance with the relevant SOPs
- Responsible for operating a variety of batching, and packaging machinery
- Maintaining quality control by visually inspecting cannabis products and packaging to ensure consistency in product standards; ensuring labeling and product counts are accurate
- Inventory of cannabis products upon receipt and distribution to and from the department
- Assisting in the loading, unloading, and inventory of cannabis packaging, supplies and materials
- Adhering to production schedules
- Weighing and processing waste material in accordance with state regulations (935 CMR 500.000) and company policies and procedures

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory controls while adhering to all company, state, and federal laws and policies. Inventory Specialist Job Summary
Inventory specialists can expect to work closely with management, help maintain inventory levels for products in back stock, on the sales floor, and merchandise displays.
Other responsibilities include maintaining inventory storage software, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, organizing and digitizing vendor records, COA’s, and shipping manifests and intake of all deliveries.

Qualifications
