The Packaging & Processing Specialist is responsible for manicuring and packaging plant material and infused products. In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labeling, and inventory is paramount. The Packaging & Processing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of medical products. This person will also have some responsibility for tracking products electronically on the company MRP system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations. Responsibilities
- Breakdown cured batches and extracted oil from the lab into multiple different weight increments (3.5 g, 7 g, ½ g and 1 g etc.) and package them accordingly
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day

Qualifications

Summary

The Production Technician, reporting directly to the Production Manager, is responsible for executing all daily operations to achieve company production and manufacturing initiatives. Additionally, the Production Technician adheres to the policies and procedures of the company and works to ensure compliance with all state and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Execute all production tasks with focus, attention to detail, integrity, and diligence
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of cannabis products (distillate, concentrates, edibles, etc.)
- Perform all duties in strict compliance with all local and state regulations
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform accurate weighing and inventory tracking throughout the production process, and use METRC software to carefully track and trace all products throughout all stages of production
- Execute QA/QC procedures, as instructed, to consistently deliver a perfect end-product
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times
- Execute tasks related to the operation, maintenance, and storage of equipment as needed
- Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge of facility safety and security procedures and protocols
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as required
- Perform inventory audits as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Attend work regularly as scheduled
Physical Requirements

The Product Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing routine tasks in all product manufacturing areas after formal training on department-specific operating procedures. With the help of our operations team and software, you'll adhere to operating procedures and compliance guidelines.

- Performing assigned product manufacturing tasks according to standard operating procedures and protocols for the manufacture of consumer goods.

Volta Biotech is a marijuana/hemp processing and refinement company. We can extract 80 pounds every 20 minutes with ethanol - possibly the biggest capacity in the state. On the marijuana side we sell bulk THC distillate (voltabiotech.com). We're in a new building that is well maintained and well lit with security cameras for 24 hour monitoring.
Our capacity is 3 to 4 liters per hour. All of our sales are already committed to customers at current capacity and we're planning to add to our capacity in the next few months. We have some designs for retail products of our own but will take time to formulate the product itself - our focus is on bulk distillate. We do cryo ethanol extraction, decarboxylation, distillation, sonication, and spray drying processes. We also have an analytical HPLC to help with product formulation and verifying plant potency from farmers.
We need production minded personnel to handle the day-to-day production processes after some training. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable on their feet working in the lab doing laboratory tasks most of the day. Familiarity with pumps, hoses, and connections is preferred. Cannabis experience is preferred. Comfortable on forklift is preferred.
The ideal candidate is an individual already experienced with cannabis processing, wants to work with larger equipment, and is excited to join our small 10 person team. Candidate must already be living in the Oklahoma City metro area to be eligible for this job.

Prime Alternative Treatment Centers of New Hampshire is looking for someone to join our Cannabis Infused Products (CIP) team, as a CIP Technician. This position is based in Peterborough, NH. You will spend your days working with the CIP Supervisor to create all the Edibles we offer, as well as keeping the CIP Department clean. The CIP Technician position requires great attention to details while being able to multi-task. The primary responsibilities include producing CIPs, portioning CIPs, and cleaning. You will be an integral part of the CIP team and be involved in everything from learning to formulate products to helping with new Product Development.
All candidates must be at least 21 years old and be able to pass a criminal background check.. The ideal candidate will have: reliability, experience working in kitchens, a desire to learn, the ability to pay attention to details, be willing to go the extra mile, and want to make the overall team stronger. A culinary degree, experience in baking, experience with chocolate/candy making, or cannabis industry experience are all helpful extras.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Post Production Technician-Trimmer is primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of cannabis plant during harvesting, drying, curing, and packaging. Efficiently bucks and trims plants. The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; is resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team, and prioritizes quality and customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Breakdown flowers off stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from usable product. This includes identifying and separating fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower
- Sit or stand for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming. Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming: adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality
- Weighing and recording weights including green waste and using METRC as applicable
- Track the metrics for the trimming process
- Clean up all production areas and tools between strains and at the end of every shift
- Understand and follow all rules and regulations for harvest and inventory management including wet weight measurements, dry weight measurements, and harvest batch requirements as set out in the State of Michigan regulations
- Understand and follow all safety protocols, compliance and SOP’s. Help refine and develop SOPs through each stage of the post-harvest process.
- Follow all state regulations, SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A year of experience in cannabis cultivation is preferred, but not required
- The candidate should have a HS diploma or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on agriculture, manufacturing, crop management or business, and/or 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- A background in quality control is a plus.
- The ideal candidate is focused on quality, inventory organization and ability to monitor every stage of the post-harvest process and compliance.

Our notable cannabis company is seeking regular full-time Production Technicians.
Using standard operations procedures within transplanting, crop transporting, harvesting, facility sanitation/disinfection, trimming, shaping plan material, and waste disposal.
Work as a quality teammate alongside other department personnel to achieve the highest quality of work.
Allow for and trust constructive criticism if received from the Production Tech ll and Production Lead.
All tasks performed based on standard operating procedures.
Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Maintain prompt timing with the department work schedule. Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:
Horticulture experience a plus - orchards, farms, greenhouses, plant nurseries, landscape design. Production experience in a cannabis environment is a plus.
Strong work ethic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with a team while demonstrating a professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
Ability to adapt to change and shifting priorities.
Must have a California ID.
Ability to pass a DOJ Live Scan.
Must be 21+ years of age

We are an established marijuana production company seeking an experienced technician to join forces with our well-established team. The ideal applicant will be a reliable and dedicated individual with cannabis production and processing experience in a commercial setting. We are looking for someone who is highly observant and accurate, as well as familiar with the cannabis plant’s life cycle.
Knowledge base that includes but not limited to:
- Harvesting ripe marijuana plants
- Crop rotation of flowering plants
- Cleaning and resetting crop fields
- Product quality assurance

- Mixing feed recipes
