Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead a team of Wholesale Account Managers and Brand Ambassadors. Job Description
The Processing Specialist is responsible for processing, organizing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products in preparation for distribution. In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing, filling product, labeling, and inventory is paramount. The Processing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and can work well alone or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Mixing product formulations in accordance with our specifications and SOPs
- Filling, capping, and cleaning vape cartridges
- Package concentrates, MIPs, and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas and equipment throughout the day
- Monitor, measure, and record precise product weight and total units produced
- Measure and document any potential product waste accurately
- Maintain strict quality standards while hitting daily production goals

Inventory & QC Specialist
The Inventory & Quality Control Specialist will work closely with the Inventory Manager and Manufacturing Team Leads to maintain inventory data records, ensure production quality standards, and uphold compliance standards with CCC requirements. The person in this role will be responsible for overseeing data input and management within various seed-to-sale tracking software, including METRC.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing electronic database of seed to sale tracking of all cannabis products in Manufacturing Department
- Submitting samples of concentrate products to testing laboratories
- Work with Inventory Manager and MIP Manager to ensure accuracy and quality control of products
- Implement an inventory tracking system for optimized control procedures
- Collaborate with Inventory Manager to develop transportation manifest in compliance with state law
- Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory; analyze data to anticipate future needs
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of the production areas
- Prepare and communicate inventory reports to ensure products are available, accurate, and in demand
- Compliantly keep track of packages, cannabis waste, METRC Tags, and weight; print and keep track of labels
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CCC Regulations and keep team updated about any changes;
- Work closely with Inventory Manager to ensure METRC accurately reflects all stages of plants and plant related products at any given time;
- Investigate any inventory variances and follow up with detailed reports and plans for corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop SOPs, and any other useful material to aid your tracking.
- Complete any other task as assigned by management.

This job will largely consist of farming and landscaping, and will support all aspects of grow operations from planting to harvesting (including clean-up). The job will include assisting with the growth process of planting, watering and maintaining plants, as well as cutting plants, de-leafing/trimming, and shucking (dry and wet) cannabis plants. The harvest laborer should have the ability to perform intensive manual labor, stand for long periods of time, and carry out repetitive tasks during summer weather conditions. The seasonal job may also require laborers to hang, package, weigh, burp and cure bud, as well as subsequent field organization and clean up following the harvest season. Additionally, the harvest laborer must be capable of using product tracking software to remain in compliance with state issued standards. - Work with the Senior Cultivator to plan for growing activities that are consistent with planned production schedules.
- Prepare grow space for planting and ensure that all spaces are clean and free of fungi, mildew, mold and various pests.
- Prepare grow areas including; transporting grow pots to growing areas, filling grow pots with soil, transplanting plants into grow pots, setting up irrigation lines, watering and feeding plants, and labeling plants.
- Monitor growing conditions and reviews changes in humidity, moisture and temperature as well as cultivation procedures to ensure conformance with quality control standards.

Lab Technician:

The Lab Technician will report directly to the Lab Manager. The Lab Technician will be responsible for operating laboratory equipment under the direction of the Lab Manager to refine and extract cannabis materials in order to create live resin, sauce, diamonds, and distillates for sale. This individual will work safely to meet production goals, maintain a clean and organized workspace all while exceeding quality control standards. This position requires close attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic workspace, and the ability to work as part of a team. This position must adhere to Company safety policies and procedures as well as state regulations including but not limited to recordkeeping, inventory, and waste disposal procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and measures for compliance with quality, health, safety, and regulatory requirements put in place by the company and state.
- Execute job properly and safely, keeping safety at the forefront of mind at all times. Remains responsible for containers and columns that are both empty and loaded, and performs movement of product without errors such as dropping, cracking, or anything that puts the product in danger.
- Prepare, maintain, and operate extraction equipment, including but not limited to closed-loop extraction system, wiped film distillation, ice water extraction.
- Prepare plant material to be extracted by stuffing socks and filling out traceability paperwork accordingly.
- Work with the team to ensure product integrity throughout the manufacturing process in compliance with brand standards and company policy and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, cleaning and organizing the workspace on a frequent basis.
- Clean, organize, and store extraction and related equipment.
- Maintain accountability and inventory for products within inventory software including but not limited to weighing, labeling, packaging, product logging, and recording of all measurable data to remain compliant with state and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be 21 years+ of age
- Expertise in extraction procedures, cannabis distillate a huge plus
- Experience in the Cannabis Industry
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on extraction related machinery
- Strong work ethic, self- motivated and ability to work independently
- Great attitude with a teamwork mentality
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with superiors and team members
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate machinery correctly, precisely, and efficiently
Environmental Factors:
- Exposure to plant particulates through skin contact and inhalation including odor, that may cause allergic reaction to some

Cannabis Packaging & Processing Specialist

The Packaging & Processing Specialist is responsible for manicuring and packaging plant material and infused products. In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labeling, and inventory is paramount. The Packaging & Processing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of medical products. This person will also have some responsibility for tracking products electronically on the company MRP system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations. The ideal candidate has a relentlessly positive attitude, a strong work ethic, competitive and team-oriented spirit, and great attention to detail. __

Responsibilities
- Breakdown cured batches and extracted oil from the lab into multiple different weight increments (3.5 g, 7 g, ½ g and 1 g etc.) and package them accordingly
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Education or GED required
- 1+ years working in production environment required
- Experience processing medical cannabis or other botanicals highly desirable
- Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
- Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique
- Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by THC and the state while processing patient medicine
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers
- Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-hour work periods without losing quality
- Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals

Senior Cultivator
The Senior Cultivator’s main responsibility will be ensuring that daily activities assigned by management are completed in a thorough and timely manner. The Senior Cultivator will oversee small groups of cultivation techs through assigned daily tasks. The Senior Cultivator will monitor cultivation procedures to ensure conformance with quality control standards. The Senior Cultivator will report directly to Management. The Senior Cultivator’s job will also consist of farming and landscaping. Additionally, the Senior Cultivator must be capable of using product tracking software to remain in compliance with state issued standards.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and oversee small groups of Cultivation Technicians through daily tasks
- Work with Management to plan for growing activities that are consistent with planned production schedules
- Monitor cultivation procedures to ensure conformance with quality control standards
- Update cultivation and related SOPs and Work Procedures to best practices and quality control standards
- Ensure that all grow areas are clean and free of fungi, mildew, mold and various pests (when applicable)
- Prepare grow areas including; transporting grow pots to growing areas, filling grow pots with soil, transplanting plants into grow pots, setting up irrigation lines, watering and feeding plants, and labeling and tagging plants
- Monitor growing conditions and reviews changes in humidity, moisture and temperature.
- Inspects crop features such as leaf texture, coloration, bloom size and for the existence of pests or disease
- Execute pest and disease control
- Cloning: cutting clones from mother stock, rooting clones in nursery, monitoring and maintaining clones to vegetative stages of plant growth
- Harvesting: cutting plants; trimming plants; removing flowering tops; weighing and inventory data input into the electronic inventory tracking system
- Curing: hanging and dry-racking flower; monitoring curing process and climate control; labeling; weighing, and inventory data input
- Operate and maintain cultivation systems/equipment: monitor, calibrate, run and maintain lighting, irrigation, climate control and other cultivation systems; stock and handle production input and supplies; sanitize and clean growing areas, cultivation workspaces, and tools
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols
- Any other tasks assigned by Management
Physical Requirements of the Job: Must be capable of competently operating computers. VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds, may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching as well as repetitive motions. Moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Must be able to safely operate farming machinery such as farm vehicles, trimming fans and handheld trimmers, as well as maintenance equipment such as weed whackers, hoes, etc.
Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state marijuana licensing regulations. There will be no drugs or alcohol on or consumed on The Human Connection or any of their client’s property.
