- 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 6:00am; Sun - Thur. (days off Fri & Sat) - $15/hr to start - Overnight Shift - We have several openings !!

- Complete daily cash counts and reconcile to cash ledger

- Directly handle the Accounts Payable activities of the company working with vendor payments, purchase orders, statements of accounts, etc. to ensure AP is current and accurate while initiating wires, debit payments, etc.

- Handle key payroll functions including payroll processing, commission reports, contractors including W2, 1099s, 1099int, etc.
- Actively maintain organized company records and files to support voluntary quarterly and annual audits including California State Sales Tax, Workers Compensation, Voluntary, Public Audits, etc.
- Complete Inventory reconciliation into company balance sheet including purchasing, receiving, exchanges, disputes, etc.

The Accounting Support Specialist will assist our accounts receivables (AR) department in a team supportive role. The AR Support Specialist will handle entering invoices from the previous days’ deliveries, as well as counting and reconciling the cash and checks we receive on a daily basis. Additional accounting duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining the records filing system.
- Maintains accurate records and reconciles the same account in our accounting system.
- Verify and manually enter multiple points of data from each signed invoice (ie., customer name, sales rep name, invoice number, excise tax amount, invoice amount, invoice terms, shipped date, etc) and entering manually into Fishbowl inventory.
- Counting and documenting the cash and the checks received on a daily basis.
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience as a staff accountant; or a Bachelors or AA Degree in accounting. Willing to also consider a recent accounting graduate.
- 2-4 years in collections, invoicing, and product returns, is required.
- Knowledge of product returns (RMA’s) in inventory and credit memos
- Must have knowledge of accounting reconciliations, such as bank statement reconciliations.
- Attention to detail is a must!
- This person will need to be trustworthy and reliable.
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to read, follow, and understand instructions.

Direct Responsibilities:
- Complete daily cash counts and reconcile to cash ledger
- Reconcile multiple bank & credit card transactions on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Directly handle the Accounts Payable activities of the company working with vendor payments, purchase orders, statements of accounts, etc. to ensure AP is current and accurate while initiating wires, debit payments, etc.
- The ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
- Handle key payroll functions including payroll processing, commission reports, contractors including W2, 1099s, 1099int, etc.
- Actively maintain organized company records and files to support voluntary quarterly and annual audits including California State Sales Tax, Workers Compensation, Voluntary, Public Audits, etc.
- Complete Inventory reconciliation into company balance sheet including purchasing, receiving, exchanges, disputes, etc.
- File sales & use tax, payroll taxes, cannabis & cultivation tax filings on a montly and quarterly basis, as relevant
- Maintain and update an active cashflow forecasting model for the company
- Maintain accountability to following strict accounting department controls and policies
- Under the direction of the company controller complete journal entries, reconcile intercompany activity and post to the general ledger
- Ensure accuracy and timely filing of Sales tax, Excise Tax, Cultivation Tax, Payroll, et al reports for various authorities
- Complete general Ledger entries, reconciliations of accounts, preparing financial statements
- Analyze vendor activity and relevant accounting activity to make recommendations to management when appropriate.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly and year-end reports

Responsibilities and day to day:
Tasks will be based on the shifting demands presented to the Distribution Director and the Department but generally shall include:
- Complete manifest and Metrc Documentation Packages
- Planning and coordinating distribution driver routes, accommodations, etc
- Prepping distribution trucks
- Scheduling Deliveries & Pickups statewide California
- Communicating with external Customers and Internal Staff / Sales members
- Updating internal systems to communicate changing statuses of completed orders, deliveries, schedules, etc.
- Complete local and southern California deliveries as needed to meet delivery deadlines (majority of required travel involves a same day return to headquarters and is not overnight)
Basic Requirements.
- Distribution & Logistics experience
- The highest standards and professional acumen must be demonstrated.
