Our Patient Care Representatives (PCR) are responsible for ensuring prospective and existing patients have an optimized experience on our platform and upholding standards of care. As a PCR, you will support patients throughout the process of getting certified and recertified, respond to any questions we receive, and deal with general customer service queries across phone, chat, and email. Our hours of operation are 8am-11pm EST and the starting pay for this role is $16-$18/hour.

The Security Agent/PCR will be based out of Charleston, WV or Huntington, WV or Parkersburg, WV and reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for daily surveillance duties, random and scheduled site inspections, and overall security at the facility. The Security Agent will perform routine patrols, will assist in investigations regarding suspected theft or diversion, and will coordinate and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and/or authorized representatives of the West Virginia Medical Cannabis Program (WVMCP), as necessary. The Security Agent will ensure a safe and secure environment across all sites and at all times. The security agent will also engage in one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they walk into the retail area until they check out and exit the store. Compliance with applicable rules and regulations as implemented by the state is required. Providing an excellent patient experience is paramount at our dispensaries. Our goal is that patients become long term customers because of our service, products, and our approachable and knowledgeable demeanor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company security policies and procedures at all times
- Participate in ongoing security training
- Monitor surveillance cameras
- Perform routine perimeter checks inside and outside of the facility
- Utilize company radios for communication
- Implement appropriate security and safety measures to deter and prevent unauthorized entry to the facility or unauthorized access to areas containing inventory, money, or sensitive materials including confidential documents
- Monitor suspicious activity, contact law enforcement when necessary, and report all incidents to appropriate company management, including the Security Supervisor
- Develop and implement security procedures to prevent theft, loss, or diversion
- Provide documentation and reports of any adverse incidents, cooperating with management, law enforcement, and the Department, as needed
- Ensure proper operation of security equipment by completing preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and spearhead calls for equipment repairs as needed, in conjunction with the Security Supervisor, Facility Manager, and IT Technician
- Verify identification of any visitors attempting to enter the facility and escort visitors as necessary, in compliance with OMC and company rules and regulations
- Maintain a log of visitors granted and denied access to the facility
- Ensure secure transport of medical marijuana to licensed receiving facilities, in conjunction with the Security Supervisor and Secure Transport Agents
- Follow established policies for sales, intake, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store.
- Help customers make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients.
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point Of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system
- Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
- Reporting of employee issues or patient situations
- Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints.

Relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Public Security, Criminal Justice, Police Science, Law Enforcement or other relevant field
- 2+ years of relevant security experience or training

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Patient Care Representative (PCR) will assist in all administrative, clinical and operational functions within a fast-paced environment. The PCR will educate patients/caregivers on medical marijuana products. The PCR will promote a work environment that is positive, patient service-oriented and compliant within the guidelines of the state and company. - Multi-task, think critically, and work quickly to resolve problems as they arise
- Accurately create and execute patient orders based off physician recommendations including properly deducting milligrams from the Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry (OMMUR)
- Always maintain company confidentiality as directed by management
- Keep current with company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and be 21 years of age (required)
- Must be able to work any hours Monday through Sunday 8 AM to 9 PM (required)
- Call Center/Contact Center experience (preferred)
- 1+ years customer service (required)
- Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Office of Medical Marijuana Use Level 2 Background Screening (required)
- Must be self-motivated & possess a positive and professional attitude (required)
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and systems (required)
