Dispensary Assistant General Manager - Cleveland

The Assistant General Manager (based in Cleveland, OH) oversees the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while combining elements of our culture, strategy, quality, marketing, sales and profitability and implementing them throughout the facility. This position reports to the General Manager and will provide leadership and coaching to all core departments including security, sales, patient services, and inventory. They will assist the GM with all strategies and tasks related to facilities, accounting, sales, marketing, and public relations. Dispensary Security & Patient Care Representative - Cleveland

The Security Agent/PCR will be based out of Cleveland, OH and reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for daily surveillance duties, random and scheduled site inspections, and overall security at the facility. The Security Agent will perform routine patrols, will assist in investigations regarding suspected theft or diversion, and will coordinate and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and/or authorized representatives of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP), as necessary. The Security Agent will ensure a safe and secure environment across all sites and at all times. The security agent will also engage in one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they walk into the retail area until they check out and exit the store. Compliance with applicable rules and regulations as implemented by the state is required. Providing an excellent patient experience is paramount at our dispensaries. Our goal is that patients become long term customers because of our service, products, and our approachable and knowledgeable demeanor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company security policies and procedures at all times
- Participate in ongoing security training

The Inventory Specialist will be based out of Cleveland, OH and is responsible for the direct oversight and day-to-day inventory management for the dispensary. This Position ensures proper inventory levels are always maintained with full compliance. The Inventory Specialist position is responsible for the direct oversight and accurateness of all state-wide inventory cycle counting, verification of required documentation and product counts for products received and conducting daily audits of inventory, tracking, and distribution of product. Responsibilities also include ensuring accurate tracking of invoices, product master creation, menu support, inventory turns, product returns, waste, damages, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Ensure all inventory is received and recorded.
- Recording daily deliveries, evaluating all product and analyzing all suppliers.

The Cultivation Technician reports to Huron, Ohio and reports directly to the Cultivation Lead and is responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative, and flowering stages. The Cultivation Technician will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as pruning, transplanting and up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Harvest plants in the appropriate plant production area, ensuring plants are handled properly and that each plant retains its identifying METRC plant tag
- Perform trimming of dried plants, ensuring trimmed leaf, trimmed flower, and stems or other waste are separated, from each other and per harvest batch, to be weighed and reported properly
- Ensure accuracy and traceability of trimming data by carefully collecting all plant material into its designated container with the associated METRC plant tag, after each plant is trimmed
- Perform weighing of plants or plant material during trimming and harvesting, as requested by the Cultivation Manager
- Perform packaging and labeling of product, ensuring accuracy of inventory by properly calibrating scales, weighing each package to the predetermined weight, and accurately counting packages upon preparation for distribution
- Perform quality assurance measures, including inspecting material during trim or packaging, maintaining a sterile environment and work area, and safeguarding against broken or defective packaging or storage containers
- Ensure neat and accurate labeling, checking that batch numbers, strains and other required information is correct and legible on the label
- Immediately report any issues or deviations from quality standards to the Post-Harvest Manager during all post-harvest processes
- Sanitize tools, equipment and work area daily
- Wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to prevent contamination and abide by personal hygiene standards at all times
- Work in a timely manner, moving at an efficient pace, and always strive to increase productivity
- Cross training between post-harvest and cultivation tech.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the direct oversight and day-to-day inventory management for the FiSci dispensary. This Position ensures proper inventory levels are always maintained with full compliance. The Inventory Specialist position is responsible for the direct oversight and accurateness of all state-wide inventory cycle counting, verification of required documentation and product counts for intake by conducting daily audits of inventory, tracking and distribution of product. Responsibilities also include ensuring accurate and efficient detailing accounting and reporting inventory surplus, product returns, waste, damages, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all inventory is received and recorded.
- Recording daily deliveries, evaluating all product and analyzing all suppliers.

Summary:
The Solventless Extraction Specialist has the responsibility of extracting, refining and fractionating cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis plant material into a concentrated form. Dispensary General Manager
Summary:
The General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while combining elements of our culture, strategy, quality, marketing, sales and profitability and implementing them throughout the facility. Summary:
The National Retail Director is a highly influential and visible role at FiSci, combining elements of culture, strategy, operations, quality, marketing, sales, and profitability across our innovative and fast-moving business. This role will be the executive team’s primary resource for developing and executing our retail dispensary strategy across multiple geographies and overseeing all retail operations.
The National Retail Director should have a detailed understanding of the medical and recreational cannabis market and a solid track record from build-out to overseeing multiple dispensary operations. The individual must possess strong personal drive, self-direction, a passion for developing people and serving patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hiring of all management positions along with executing their training/on-boarding programs
- Develop, implement and oversee execution of dispensary strategy and operations
- Project manage all aspect of the buildout and design of new dispensaries
- Development of strategic sales plans/goals, inventory planning, budgeting while staying ahead of product information
- Provides operational leadership to multiple dispensaries, with a strong understanding of the market and patient needs, as well as anticipating future needs.
- Serve as a brand representative within the community and participate in industry events and trade shows as opportunities occur
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales and inventory management plan per dispensary
- Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, compiling consumer feedback and online reviews
- Establishing procurement strategies and strategic partnership aligned local and national dispensary objectives
- Responsible for managing each dispensaries' managers to provide their team with all resources, systems, policies and procedures in order to run a thriving dispensary
- Provides superior customer service for vendors, patient/customers and caregivers;
- Responds to all patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions when required
- Ensures a world-class experience exists for our patients in accordance with FiSci mission, vision, and values
- Develop and implement standards for to assure that all dispensary operations such as admissions, patient consulting, product dispensing, cash management, inventory management, inventory auditing, outreach, marketing and ordering are functioning with integrity and in the most cost efficient, compassionate and compliant manner
- Serve as the first point of contact with State and Local regulatory representatives
- Ensure all dispensaries and personnel are in compliance with all rules and regulations governing operations
- Creates an environment in which a personal, customer-focused, and service-oriented mentality is standard. A critical element of the role will be to ensure that the environment and patient experience reflect Firelands Scientific’s mission, vision, values and culture.
- Cross functionally collaborates on product design, development, packaging and other channels to ensure the product meets the needs of the stores and continues to drive overall brand strategies.
- Maintains a presence in the field in order to effectively coach and support dispensary teams. Ensures operational priorities, processes and procedures are communicated, understood and executed consistently across all locations.
Relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years of Retail Management Experience, specifically in a high-growth environment with multiple locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related fields
- Running retail environments in cannabis category
- Eposure to cultivation and processing highly desired
- Familiarity with management coaching, training, and talent development
- Proven experience establishing strategic goals with key stakeholders and monitoring company and individual performance through KPIs and other metrics
- Proficient in MS Office, Highly Proficient in MS Excel
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner
- Strong business acumen including data management, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
- After-hours work required to manage sales facing inventory and order entry
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and compliance driven
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to travel
- Clean driving record, and valid state driver’s license required

Cultivation Technician
Summary:
The Cultivation Technician reports directly to the Cultivation Manager and is responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative, and flowering stages. The Cultivation Technician will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as pruning, transplanting and up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement cultivation practices as indicated by the Cultivation Manager
Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants
Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by the Cultivation Director and Cultivation Manager
Ensure the cultivation facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs
Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the cultivation facility to ensure sanitary practices
Abide by high personal hygiene standards
Apply pesticides in a safe and effective manner, wearing appropriate PPE, and after ample training and instruction from the Cultivation Manager
Check and record accurate data daily, including but not limited to: pesticide applications, issues found when scouting plants, and any other items required by management
Observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments to the Cultivation Manager
Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize crop benches and prepare to transplant new crops
Implement a mother plant maintenance program with oversight from the Cultivation Manager
Assist in inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with regard to plant health and traceability, in order to uphold the company’s standard for quality
Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems
Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the cultivation facility
Relevant Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma
1-3 years of experience in commercial cultivation or landscaping
Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
Basic plant structure knowledge preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
Must comply with state regulations and guidelines
Ability to pass a background check required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Physical Requirements:
Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting

Firelands Scientific is seeking a self-motivated cannabis road-warrior.
The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for spreading brand awareness and increasing retail sales through field marketing efforts, product trainings and patient engagement. We’re seeking someone dedicated to creating a dominant presence by managing positive customer-focused relationships with all Ohio licensed medical marijuana dispensaries and staff.
Desired candidate will help patients and dispensary partners and possess the ability to “Uplift Others†through education, promoting the power of cannabis as medicine.
The Brand Ambassador will report directly to the Sales Executive and be in the field 75% of the time with ability to commute to our Huron, OH facility as needed.
The Brand Ambassador will update company sales software daily and must adhere to all Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) regulations while maintaining a strong knowledge and comprehension of the functionality of METRC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and maintain a highly organized schedule of regular on-site patient and staff education meetings and events.
- Engage with patients and collect feedback on products; submit additional collateral requests based off feedback. Bring Patient and Client feedback to company management; assist with improvements in strain/genetic literature, cannabinoid and terpene profile matrices, marketing, and sales tactics based on feedback.
- Develop strong working knowledge of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) and understanding of the competitive market; keeping industry knowledge current and up-to-date.
- Identify and sustain key merchandising opportunities for accounts with dominant product placements and displays; ensuring execution and alignment with all sales programs.
- Present and discuss sales and marketing collateral, brand values, products, cultivar genetic information and value adds.
- Support Director of Marketing by effectively communicating and maintaining inventory levels on all point of sale items and collateral.
- Serve and support FiSci as a brand representative for community outreach, industry events and trade shows as opportunities occur. Transport, setup, breakdown and maintain trade materials and table displays.
- Support and lead facility tours in Huron, OH.
- Identify and follow up on leads via phone and email, documenting all attempts and outcomes of leads within the company’s sales software.
- Maintain all applicable reports and records, including those mandated by the OMMCP.
- High School Diploma
- More than 1 year of formal sales/networking experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills, sociable, outgoing
- Ability to work independently and as a team, both in person and remotely
- Experience working in a sales role in a highly regulated industry preferred
