Dispensary Security & Patient Care Representative - Beckley, WV

The Security Agent/PCR will be based out of Beckley, WV and reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for daily surveillance duties, random and scheduled site inspections, and overall security at the facility. The Security Agent will perform routine patrols, will assist in investigations regarding suspected theft or diversion, and will coordinate and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and/or authorized representatives of the West Virginia Medical Cannabis Program (WVMCP), as necessary. The Security Agent will ensure a safe and secure environment across all sites and at all times. The security agent will also engage in one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they walk into the retail area until they check out and exit the store. Compliance with applicable rules and regulations as implemented by the state is required. Providing an excellent patient experience is paramount at our dispensaries. Our goal is that patients become long term customers because of our service, products, and our approachable and knowledgeable demeanor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company security policies and procedures at all times
- Participate in ongoing security training
- Monitor surveillance cameras
- Perform routine perimeter checks inside and outside of the facility
- Utilize company radios for communication
- Implement appropriate security and safety measures to deter and prevent unauthorized entry to the facility or unauthorized access to areas containing inventory, money, or sensitive materials including confidential documents
- Monitor suspicious activity, contact law enforcement when necessary, and report all incidents to appropriate company management, including the Security Supervisor

- Troubleshoot and spearhead calls for equipment repairs as needed, in conjunction with the Security Supervisor, Facility Manager, and IT Technician
- Verify identification of any visitors attempting to enter the facility and escort visitors as necessary, in compliance with OMC and company rules and regulations
- Maintain a log of visitors granted and denied access to the facility
- Ensure secure transport of medical marijuana to licensed receiving facilities, in conjunction with the Security Supervisor and Secure Transport Agents
- Follow established policies for sales, intake, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Inventory Specialist will be based out of Beckley, WV and is responsible for the direct oversight and day-to-day inventory management for the dispensary. The State of West Virginia has made medical cannabis legal for patients suffering from a wide variety of conditions. We are looking for those who want to join our team and certify patients for the Medical Cannabis Program.
We are a national company with offices in Utah, Maryland, West Virginia, Missouri, and telemedicine in 25 states. Our goal is to develop new partnerships with doctors in major cities all around West Virigina.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Be an advocate for patients seeking to use medical marijuana as part of their treatment plan.
- Evaluate patients for the medical cannabis program.
- Maintain notes and medical records in the EMR system (all electronic).
Requirements:
- MD/DO License to practice in West Virginia.
- DEA & Controlled Substance License
- Ability to utilize technology, specifically the in-house EMR system (we will train)
