Cannabis Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management.
Our ideal
Cannabis Advisor has a positive upbeat attitude and a desire to help people find the best product for their needs. A background in retail and hospitality is highly preferred (1-2 years), but customer service experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Possess a positive attitude while greeting customers and patients
- Be an advocate of cannabis customer care
- Help customers and patients navigate through cannabis and educate them on how it can be used as a wellness product
- Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business
- Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice)
- Be open to continued, on-going cannabis education and training
- Provide support to managers and other Patient Care Advisors as needed
- Maintain a clean, organize, and sanitize workstation/store front
- Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up
- Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws
- Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory
- Complete transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC, BioTrack, etc.) accurately updates the amount of product available
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
- Must be able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods
- Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
- Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 20 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Job Summary:
The Pharmacist position offers exceptional customer service to all patients and provides consultations to better understand patients' medical cannabis needs. As a Pharmacist you will be the product expert on-site and must provide a positive and customer centric experience for all patients.
Core Job Duties
- Check patient certifications via the online portal
- Review patient's physician recommendations and dispense medical cannabis medication
- Provide individualized patient consultations to determine the best program alongside the physician's recommendation
- Maintain control of the inventory and rotates the medicine as needed.
- Review and submit the prescription state monitoring program
- Record the removal of damaged and outdated medicine (Greenwaste)
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Work closely with the Management staff to ensure accurate inventory logs
- Support leadership during any schedule or unscheduled audits when necessary
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. (Licensed without restrictions)
- 2 -5 years' experience
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Eager to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail experience mandatory (Experience at a Walgreens, CVS, etc. is a plus)
- Satisfactory completion of any PA State required Medical Cannabis education programs

Patient Care Representative at Medical Marijuana Dispensary with multiple locations in the Pittsburgh area.
You would have a "home" store location, but may be asked to float to others on occasion.
Work with Patients through sales transactions, while properly educating them on products.
Complete transactions using state approved seed-to-sale tracking & point of sales software.
Ability to maintain positive attitude, eagerness to work with and be part of a team, punctuality, and dependability are all musts.
Initial and on-going training is provided, and you'll be expected to continually self-educate on medical cannabis, it's strains & properties, as well as it's products.
Complete morning setup, as well as end of day inventory procedures.
Become efficient with state approved point-of-sale software, using that to maintain accuracy of store inventory and menus.
Be able to rotate into admissions office and perform all procedures there; including registering new patients, checking existing patients into the the working queue, and handling phone calls.
Must work well in a very team driven environment, with the ability to maintain positive working relationship with all staff members.
This is a retail-cash position in a professional medical-retail environment.
Prior retail experience should be highlighted. Pharmacy tech experience is also very applicable.
